  • [size=8]well, bluntly put, activity has went from shit to even more shit. winter really needs to up her game if she has any hope of giving radicalclan a more appealing name around the clans than it does now. and sometimes that leads to making quick decisions, "mandatory meeting, everyone. please gather." winter hops onto the stage of the auditorium, finding some comfort in this as she sits in her usual spot. she waits a few moments for people to gather, and then waits a few moments more to give pixel a chance to emerge out of the meek group of faces before remembering that she left. odd, how she forgets this so soon after it has happened.

an awkward expression briefly bedazzles her features as she recalls this, but it only stays for a moment or two before she starts talking, since nobody is now holding her back, "good evening. i assume you all have been doing well lately? if so, then thats good." its small talk, and she's not expecting an answer, which is why she continues without a pause, "i'll come right out with it— activity has been awful, and undoubtedly a lot worse than i ever imagined it could get it. we need to fix that pronto, so i encourage you all to come to me with ideas and events. it can even be something as simple as a game of duck duck goose." now that would be a sight, wouldnt it? a group of grown women seated in a circle, one in particular trotting around said circle and gently tousling the fur atop anothers head as she goes? its almost comical.

"no demotions or warnings this week." namely because there is literally only two high positions throughout this whole god damn system, and geometricus alerted winter of her upcoming lapse in activity before hand. and now this means she needs to roll through promotions. and there is only one, "katniss." winters upper lip peels back as she spits the other girls name out, and annoyance wavers in her dark blue eyes like a banner, "i dont like you. i dont like you at all, but despite my misgivings i am aware that you (or you should) have some experience in leading and.. i don't think i can do this alone." not when weiss and ironwood are still missing, not when she is burdened by leading a clan and finding her sister. "so congratulations— you're going to be co-valkyrie. you think that you deserve this power again? that you should get it back? then prove it to me, first-hand; lead radicalclan with me. quit whining and show me what you've got." as the canid finishes speaking, she briefly seeks out the former leader so that she can glare into her eyes, cobalt hues stormy. this decision will either save the clan or tear it apart— winter isnt sure of the outcome, but she wishes for the former. she glances away from katniss and moves on.

"hp-tryouts are going to be set up later today, along with spring choice awards, but the mass adoption sign-ups are already up and can be found HERE. if there arent any questions, then this meeting is dismissed."[fancypost=border-width:0;color:#FFF;font-size:12pt;letter-spacing:-2px][center]NO WONDER YOU'VE GOT DEMONS / TAGS

Katniss wasn't exactly enjoying being an average warrior; prior to hearing the call for a meeting, the molly had been prowling through the balcony, still trying to get used to her new sleeping arrangements with no enthusiasm to be seen; though the seats were comfortable, she loathed no longer having a room to herself.

Her mood only worsened upon hearing Winter's beckoning voice; it should've been her calling the meeting, not this stuck-up bitch. Scowling, she leapt up onto the stone railing of the balcony, where a human might have rested their hands while viewing a show, and took a seat to spectate.

The way she spoke during these meetings was different than Katniss; Winter was more cordial, whereas she had shouted and cursed all throughout her addresses. The canine didn't hold back, though, when it came to voicing her concerns, and Kat made a show of letting out a bark of derisive laughter in response to Winter's grievances regarding activity. I'll always be a better leader.

She came to attention when her name was spat out with venom, bearing a curious and mildly suspicious expression. She had been expecting to be reprimanded at some point, and Katniss was more than ready to counter her with some insults of her own; she'd been brainstorming what she would say when the time came. But then she was being… invited to step back up? Through wide eyes, Katniss stared down at her from her perch, utterly shocked. Then a wicked grin spread across her maw, and she leaned forward. "I knew you'd come around. 'Course, I don't think you can do it at all, but hey, I'll take what I can get."

Granted, the thought of being checked by Winter while making decisions left her with a sour taste in her mouth, but she would make due for now. Katniss did indeed plan on saving her home, and she would do whatever it took.

jane entered the auditorium with a sense of giddiness - this was the first official meeting she would be attending, the first of many. maybe her future-self will think she was crazy for joining this clan. her past-self would've thought 'you're a crazy son-of-a-bitch for doing this' for certain.

but some part of her, the soft, sensitive spot in her beaten, battered heart was hoping. hoping that this would be different. this part of her was thinking, 'i'll make friends, great friends. maybe i'll even have a girlfriend who loves my fat, emotional ass. and i'll have the life i never thought i would have if i stayed with my parents. i'll be better than they ever were - i won't be an alchohal or a cheater or a wife-and-daughter-beater. i won't be what they said. i am not nothing.'

this. was the start of something great...

...even if the meeting started with shitty news. well, jane thought, it's good that i joined then, right? she'd do her best. she'd do better than her best - her best would be great and her great the best.

what a throw-down, jane thought as she watched winter and katniss' exchange. this could be considered a show down south or something. she wasn't complaining about the decision - all she was worrying about was her two new leaders. something told her that this wouldn't be the last of their bitchin' toward each other. maybe it'd all turn it out differently and they'd be able to trust each other in the end.

ooc; jane has such wishful thinking
