  • Maybe your character has a part time job in a well-known restaurant and my character is ordering from there? Then they can maybe sense each other's presence, but not know where the other is because it's so crowded. Just an idea ^^

  • Okay, that's cool.)

He was taking several orders at once, dishes stacked up on him to his shoulders and over each other whilst he constantly walked from table to table to the kitchen and back. It was tedious, though he didn't seem to mind...

  • Claire was sat on a table by herself. It wasn't like she didn't have friends in this realm - she just preferred to be alone when eating so she had time to think. She'd made her order about fifteen minutes ago. Claire was restless. Any normal person might have thought she was just impatient about her food, but no - the angel had sensed something very peculiar about this place the moment she walked in. Claire just...couldn't put her finger on it. Agh, what is it? What's so wrong about this restaurant?

  • (Sorry, I was taking care of my baby bro...)

He was taking food to a table right behind said angel, and a... peculiar feeling hit him almost immediately as he came within arms length of her. Gaagii didn't know what it was or where it came from, though frowned as he could still feel it on his way back in the kitchens... The hell is this? The demon thinks to himself, his body moving automatically to what he was told and what he was ordered to do. A plate was thrusted into his arms, and he was told it was for the female at table 16. Gaagii walked right on over, setting down the plate in front of her, though tried to ignore the sudden flare in the appearance of this peculiar feeling.
"Sorry for the inconvenience. As you can see, it's pretty busy here..."

  • There. There it was, that nagging feeling. Said feeling occurred when the waiter of sorts drew up to her table. Claire's blue eyes drew up to meet his and she smiled as best she could. Whatever this feeling is, it's urging me to get out of here. "It's fine! It must be hard to work here."

  • "Sometimes... between the bossy coworkers and impatient customers, it can get pretty hectic." The male shrugged a little, then backed up a little, starting to head back to the kitchens.
    "Well, enjoy your food miss."

  • "Thank you!" she called after him, then turned to her food and ate it as fast as she could. Claire was definitely going to get out of there. If only she had stuck around for better training, she'd be able to detect what exactly was giving her this feeling...and what the feeling even was. It felt like it was linked to something - or someone - in here, but her end was urging her to flee. The moment she finished, Claire was quick to leave the money on her table instead of paying directly. She scuttled to the front door of the restaurant, completely forgetting an emerald necklace she always wore around her neck, but it had fallen onto the floor in her rush to leave. Once she was out, she breathed a sigh of relief as the feeling began to fade. "I hope I never encounter that again."

  • Gaagii shook himself vigorously after making it to the kitchens, causing some of the chefs there to whine and complain about hair and germs. This was easily ignored, and the male thought to himself as his hands and arms were loaded. It was a skill he had gained over the years: being able to think of important matters while doing a multitude of other things that were mostly instinct rather than thinking. For example, now. He didn't know what that feeling was, or what it was... drawing him to- or whom- though it was racing through his mind like cheetahs on high. By time he came back to the real world again, he was at another table with less plates in his arms, and was nodding softly to a customer to get him some water. The 'pull' was gone... Thank Chaos. I don't need some odd urges messing with my mind.

  • Out of habit, she felt around her neck for her necklace, only to find it gone. She glanced back at the restaurant and sighed. Claire slipped back in, the sudden push nearly winding her. She grew dizzy the further in she went, but as she approached her table she spotted her necklace and started to feel a bit better. The push was still nagging at her mind, burn it wasn't so strong as she knock her unconscious on the spot. Claire slipped the necklace back on. Well, I guess I was always told this would repel a powerful force. Somehow...anyway, I'm curious now. What- or who- is giving me this feeling?

  • The male was doing fine, taking more orders and delivering more food. He was even beginning to slip into a rhythm- get the order, deliver the order, get the food, deliver the food- though said rhythm was interrupted when the Pull came at his mind again, and he stumbled a little, spilling some water to the floor. Gaagii got some napkins from an empty table, cleaning up the mess, then later taking the cup back for more water. The Pull was much stronger and he didn't like it one bit...
