She would need as much as possible if this was actually going to be successful; so she'd been in the kitchen all day, flipping through baking books and conjuring what ingredients she couldn't find. The first few batches of cupcakes - a simple enough recipe - had come out black, burnt to a crisp. She'd forgotten milk in the first one, and hadn't fully mixed several of the second batch. The third she hadn't taken out of the oven on time. The fourth was looking good, but it turned out she'd forgotten the sugar and they tasted really quite disgusting. After several hours, a decent smell was finally wafting from her hut on the island, and she could set out a tray of vanilla cupcakes on the counter of the home. "Hey, I got some sweet treats over here, if anybody wants some!" she announced, before heading back into the kitchen in the back room of the workshop. If anyone actually showed up, they could always help her make more.

    jumpstart my kaleidoscope heart
love to watch the colors fade--

Autumn wasn't a great cook herself, but she could respect baking as an art. The little bunny seemed to be working hard, and Autumn had smelled the first few batches while she was outside, working on her newest sketch. After Tea's call, she'd figured that a break (and a reward, the sketch was coming out perfectly!) was in order. The spotted wildcat padded over leisurely, taking in a deep breath. Using her telekinesis, one of her more acute skills due to practice from making precise lines, she wiggled one of the cupcakes out of the pan and took a bite. "Wow, Tea, these are amazing!"

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 600px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]There was nothing better than warm treats on rather blustery days, so as soon as teagan revealed the fruits of her labor, the tiny ginger kitten came bounding over not long after. her wide brown eyes were blown wide with curiosity as she settled close beside Autumnalequinox (whom she briefly attempted to give a small hug to the leg), mouth watering just smelling the delectable pastries. Without asking, the manner-less and mercurial youth quickly grabbed a cupcake and took a massive bite out of it, barely able to process the food before speaking about it. "Wow miss! 'Dis is sho tasthy!!" she chirped, mouth still full and sprayin g the porch with the half-chewed batter.

arcane liked to hang out where crowds were, but what really dragged him to the group was the aroma of freshly baked goods, which sent the shepherd in a beeline towards teagan and the others.

he quickly took one vanilla cupcake and chomped it down in swift bites, licking his lips. "you're a good cook, teagan." he commented, sitting down.

  • [center]- - - - -[fancypost=bgcolor=; border:0; width:450px; text-align:justify; font-size:10px; line-height:1.5]Tea appeared from the back room, hopping over happily as she heard the soft thudding of pawsteps approaching the hut. She recognised the young feline vaguely - she'd been around recently, hadn't she? - though couldn't recall formally meeting her. "Hey, Autumn, innit?" She believed that's what the feline was calling herself, or rather, what others were calling her. A wide smile crossed her features at the compliment, ears twitching pleasantly. "Thank you!" she murmured brightly, popping one into her own mouth. They weren't that bad, actually. It seemed her hard work had payed off. She gave the next arrival a large grin - Honeymoon was one of the cutest kittens she'd ever met. Her cheeks warmed in surprise to how she'd been addressed - miss - and flustered, corrected the young girl. "Oh, you don't need to call me miss! It's Tea, call me Tea. What's your name?" she enquired with a smile, peering over the counter. She noticed Arcanepaw next and grinned at the sight of someone more familiar. Arc had been the first Riverclanner she'd ever met. To this day, she was still grateful for their hospitality. "Thanks, Arc."

    YOU'RE STILL ALIVE — honeymoon — riverclan — she/her — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 600px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Briefly glancing at Arcanepaw and casting him a wide smile through a mouthful of cupcake, the kitten soon found herself glancing back towards Teagan, watching her as she grew flustered by the title. Letting a few laughs chime from her (with a spray of half-chewed food accompanying it), Honeymoon finally managed to swallow the massive bite she had taken and left more room for her to speak. "Okay Tea!" she chirped, even if the kitten would forge the name the next morning due to her unique type of amnesia. "My name is, uh, my name is...."

There was a suddenly bashful look on the kitten's face as her own name seemed to befall her mind. She hated not being able to remember something, especially while she was in the midst of conversation. Glancing away for a few moments, she soon turned back with a wide smile. "Honeymoon! I'm Honeymoon!" she responded quickly, before talking again, quickly divulging into a ramble. "You got really big ears! Where'dya get em? Did you buy them??"

Can you show me the way I'm lost in the dark...

The scent of cupcakes and various baked treats flooded the small camp. Amaya gave a twitch of her nose, lifting her head to find the source of the smell. Honestly she'd never had something like this before. She'd only ever had meat and milk. It wasn't that she didn't understand these things existed, she was well versed in all the things that happened in RiverClan that originated from humans. But she had simply never been invited to have some. "Can I have one? What are they?"

...I've fallen apart, can you unbreak my heart?
