  • The Academy of Dreams

For years you’ve lived in this town, whether with family, friends, or on your own, starring in on a building of beauty concealed behind rod iron gates. Wishing, hoping, waiting, for someone to step outside and grant you access to the beautiful palace that is called a school. In a world of monsters, ghouls and goblins, you know you are no different, that you’ll never truly stand out amongst the crowds. That was, until a young woman approached you one day, placed a letter in your hand and fled before you you could say a word. Upon opening the beautiful pristine envelope the first words you see are your name, your full name. Then a moment of awe consumes you, ‘You have been accepted to The Academy of Dreams, please meet at the front gate next dawn.’

You have been invited to The Academy of Dreams, and are pretty flabbergasted at this fact, though you may not let it show. You wait outside the front gates with a small group of people around you, these must be the other kids that have been accepted this year. With a deep breath, you wait.

  • You have just arrive before the front gates, the street Astatic with chatter. Many eyes laid on you, some glaring in envy some happy that you were one of the few chosen. The gates before you remained closed as the golden sun soon became apparent spilling pinks and oranges over the courtyard that was concealed behind the gates.

ic;; adrian stepped out from the car she had arrived in, her long golden hair pulled back into a lengthy braid. glancing around, she made her way towards the gate, unsure of what to expect. never had she dreamed of being chosen for this school, and she had never really wanted to be chosen. this happened all by chance, though adrian was grateful for an opportunity like this, so there was no way in hell she would pass this up. //yeet\\
~ cautiously walking up to the gates, aimi pulled her over-sized sweatshirt closer around her small frame. never had she wanted something like this, but if it meant being safer from the outside world, then she would take it. perhaps it would be better than she thought, and maybe she'd be able to make it for a while. aimi just hoped things would go well. ~

Rain slowly made his way between the forming crowd his eyes on the tall gates, an image of that women in his mind, how on earth did she find him. With a huff he walked up to the rod iron fence and pressed his face to the bars. His mind dancing with curiosity as the overwhelming smell of sweets surrounded him.

Jenny wasn't far behind everyone else, standing on the other side of the street as she watched the gates, she didn't want all those people looking at her, she didn't like people. pulling on her shirt a bit she took a deep breath she heard the birds that rested on her antlers. "Okay Jenny, everything will be okay...."

Mark stood next to his wizard, the man stood tall gazing at the group, patting the pup's head once his tail started to wag, he enjoyed the presence of the wizard. He felt safe for a moment longer until he heard the cricking of heels on pavement.

Evilyn took a small step forwards from the car that had dropped her off, her hair softly shifting as wind brushed over her, she was so excited, it's been a year since the gates had opened!

ic;; adrian examined the faces of other students who had been chosen, intrigued by the variety of different species/races there were here. it was a shame she wasn't as unique of a species, in her opinion, but it was refreshing to see all the different species that were there, and it made her feel slightly less nervous about standing there waiting in front of the tall rod iron gates.
~ mumbling something under her breath, aimi glanced around nervously. she could feel her wrists beginning to itch as she anxiously awaited the gates opening. her stormy grey eyes darted about as she examined each and every face around her, only making her even more nervous as she realized just how many people there actually were. lowering her eyes to the ground, aimi didn't make eye contact with anyone around her, she didn't want to. ~

  • Ooc ok ima need a recap when I Greg home I'll post then so I won't be mobile

  • OOC I so want someone to make a vampire dude so my gay unicorn can find love with someone who would want to eat him <3 XD

Rain jumped a bit when he saw the gates start to shift a bit before pulling open, holding back a near neyhing sound he took a quick step back. With a huff he looked at the floor, kicking a rock quickly while being slightly embarrassed.

Jenny quickly started accost the street to the gate seeing it start to open a bit. Curiosity chewed at her as she made her way along the edge of the crowd, this new place was said to be a source of magic.

Mark was released by the wizard and motioned to go to the gates, quickly squeezing past the other few students who waited for the opening he looked through the iron bars.

Evilyn quickly moved through the crowd that had formed to watch the new students enter, her letter in hand she stopped at the back of the small group of kids like herself. "Wow..." she spoke what most had been thinking, "it's like nothing i've ever seen before!"

  • Kaius stood in the back of the crowd of kids that have gathered in front of this school, with one headphone in and the other resting in his right ear. He was a little irritated because of how hot the sun was today and waiting in the sun wasn't helping the matter. But still he decided to already suck it up because if he screw this up he would have to go back to homeschooling, and that was the last thing he wanted...well one of the last thins he wanted to happen. Scanning the crowd he could see that some students were nervously looking around while others seemed to be ready to run into the gates or run in the other direction.

  • [font=trebuchet ms]Lindsay's quick steps made there way over to the school gates as she pushed any doubt out of her mind. She'd always worked hard at school, just because this one looked like a palace didn't mean that there would suddenly be no tests to study for. If she just focused on that, she'd be closer to her goal. Everyone and everything else didn't matter. Her light purple eyes scanned the sea of students waiting for the gates to open and she let out a soft sigh. Okay, maybe there was one student that did matter to her, but then again he was family. They'd suffered through a lot together, she wasn't going to abandon him now. C'mon Leon, where are you?

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to stay up late playing video games again. Leo was dead tired as he dragged himself out of bed, hearing the front door close. Probably just his sister leaving to got to that school that had accepted the two of them. Oh crap, his sister just left to go to the school that had accepted the two of them. The boy's eyes flung open and he hurriedly began changing ito his school uniform, throwing some bread in the toaster with one hand while he struggled with his belt with the other. He'd been in such a panic he'd forgotten something pretty important. His sister was his sister. She always left the house early for school, only to get there shortly before he did. That's because he always forgot that he didn't have to hurry, and so he'd panic and get ready fast. Once he remembered this, Leon grabbed his toast out of the toaster and chuckled. This was the day he'd die for sure, may as well go out with a smile. Once he finished his breakfast and ran to the school building he was relieved to find the gate still closed. He then ran one hand through his hair and began looking for his sister in the crowd. Hopefully this was the right school, it certainly looked fancy enough.

  • "Why are you in such a hurry?" A white haired girl asked a blonde girl next to her "I don't wanna be late!" With that, the blonde girl grabbed the wrist of the wolf eared female and ran towards the school. "This is nice, Lyria." The white haired girl said, smiling. The blonde girl, Lyria, nodded "Yup. I wonder what everyone is at the school, Feather." "I bet they're nice~" The white haired girl, known as Feather, replied dreamily. Lyria merely snorted a little and shrugged. "Maybe. Maybe not!" Feather twitched her ears a little and smoothed the fur on her white tail down.

The one who crushes on Leon will beeee Feather!

The gates began to open, slowly of course to give the great reveal.

Once he saw the gates begin to open the young foal pushed forwards a bit. The buzzing crowd of students and observers were starting to get on the colts nerves as he shifted in place to watch the gate open. Kicking at the clean presen sidewalk he sighed, though this was a new chance, it was an opportunity to be normal again, there was a chance...

Jenny stepped forwards a bit seeing the top of the gates move, her horns being the only thing that could be seen over the crowd. Shifting forwards past two people she got a slightly better view, "wow..." she mumbled eyes sparkling. Realization hit her and she took a quick step back blushing and looking around quickly. She hoped she wasn't in anyone's way.... her antlers were kind of... huge.

Mark's tail wagged behind him as he stood first in line. His tail wagged even faster as the gates drew in, bouncing in place the pup nearly yipped in excitement for the new place.

Evilyn smiled when the gates started to open, the large black iron moving allowing access to them all to the court yard. Excitement bubbled in her as she took a quick step forwards her shirt shifting over her calves. She was so excited that she could barely contain herself standing there.

  • Kaius watched from the back of the pack of students as he saw the giant door begin to open up. He was happy that he would soon be able to go inside to the point where he was ready to run to the front of the line. But he held his ground not wanting to cause any trouble. The perks of being in the back meant he could see students that were running late, that along with the fact that he wouldn't be trampled when the door opens. The idea of a mob of kids running over each other caused him to chuckle a little to himself. Taking out his phone he looked at the time and began to look for a different song to play, still keeping a one headphone piece out just in case someone begins to talk.
