It was kind of funny to her, how Horizon had sought out her instead of Perri, or another high position. It was lucky that in between GraveClan and DarkClan, she had gained the power to search memories. That, combined with her strengthened mental powers, would help in this interrogation. So now, she was ready. "Wilson? Are you here?" she barked, her tone neutral as she lightly knocked on the door of his room.

I'm only a man with a candle to guide me,
I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me.
    A monster, a monster,
    I've turned into a monster

He padded out from the shadows and nodded. "[color=black]I am here. What is it?

    "

She took a deep breath. "The Eclipse Force visited me." she barked. "Coming with claims that you killed your parents. Now tell me, and be honest with me...is this true?" She tilted her head.

He frowned. Yes, he had killed his father, but his mother had died from her second childbirth. "[color=black]And why are you so quick to judge and accuse? Have they given you conclusive proof of this, or do they simply point fingers like children, and you believe them? You are my general, and I expect that you be loyal to me, and to our clan.

" If she was so willing to side with a group that she wasn't a part of over her own clanmate, he wondered whether or not it was such a good idea to promote her to her current position.

She blinked. "I am loyal. It's just that we had a situation similar to this a long while ago, with Nivata. I don't want you to harm your--our--Clanmates." She huffed. "At least let me search your memories."

Wilson never knew of this Nivata. He could not claim to say that he wouldn't be like her, for he had no idea what she was like to begin with. But her wild accusations caused him to take a deep breath, before he took a few steps towards her, so that they were face to face (or at least, as much as they could be with their slight size difference. The fact that she was a little taller than him in her canine body did nothing to bring him any fears or doubts.

"[color=black]This is my home, my family. My mother was born here, and her parents before her. This clan and its future, seeing Darkclan to its fullest potential is very important to me. But no, you may not rifle through my memories; you have not earned that. Is that all you've come to discuss?

" he rumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. At such a close distance, there was no need to raise his voice to be heard, and shouting always seemed more frantic and out of control to him.

She huffed. "Very well then. That is all. Just know I will be keeping a cautious eye on you, and if I see you doing anything that breaks the rules I will not hesitate to step in." And so help him if he served 2000 years of dedicated service like her old arch-enemy did.
