[font='Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif']Hello! Okay so I've been itching for some new threads lately and my muse/activity has shot up so I thought why not branch out and get back into the swing of things? I really don't want to ramble too much here since I just want to jump right in but I thought I'd just list a few things about my style of writing and then offer up some basic (and I mean basic[yikes]) skeletons of plots. Let me know if your interested in starting something, whether it be one of my v basic plot outlines or if you have some ideas of your own!!
Things I'm totally down to do:
-BxB
-BxG
-Realistic
-Romance, as to be expected from a sap like myself
-Soul Mates
-Supernatural
-Gangs/somethin' with some angst in it
-Dark threads (?) don't really know my boundaries there but I've read a few detective ones and they seem pretty cool
-Honestly probably anything as long as it has a solid plot line
Things I'm iffy about/not into:
-Fandoms (it's just that I really don't know much about any ;^;)
-Abusive/cruelty/slave plots, they're just not my forte
-Average, run of the mill high school plots (nothing against them, I've just been played out by those over the years)
-Anything too crazy sci-fi related/time travel
*Probably forgot to list a few things, but I'm sure you get the gist of it!
Okay so I'd like to say I'm pretty advanced in my posts. If it's a low muse kind of day I'll probably put out like 3 ish paragraphs per post, but on a normal day it could be 5 or more. It doesn't matter to me whether the thread is in first or third person, whichever you prefer. I don't have any touchy subjects when it comes to plots, so have at it! Swearing/mature situations are also a-okay with me.
So for plot ideas, I have a small handful. Some are from tumblr, some are my own, and some are a mix of a bunch. I'll just give a couple of blurbs of ideas down below and if you're into any of them feel free to PM me or talk to me here, whichever you prefer. Or if you have any ideas of your own feel free to share, I don't bite! ;v;
Plot 1:
Muse a was involved with their significant other for like 3 years and was engaged to them and lived with them and everything until the day they found out that their s/o was having an affair. Muse a didn’t hesitate to move out, now having nowhere to live until their best friend, muse b came in. Muse b had been terribly in love with muse a ever since they were young, and is glad to let muse a stay with them. Muse a happily accepts and moves into muse b’s tiny excuse of an apartment. Now sharing everything with them, muse b helps muse a through the breakup, late night talks and cries and trips to the store since muse a is just trying to get back on track and sort things out. And then one night after they've been living together for a while it just all comes out of muse b in a whole jumble of “hey i’ve been in love with you for years now sURPRISE." After having a super real conversation and then one of them can leave all confused and they have to figure out whether they can do this or not.
Plot 2:
Something involving soul mates where two characters have known each other for a while and muse a just loathes the idea of soul mates since their own mother was a hardcore believer in it and ended up with an awful husband/life. But the name of your soul mate appears onto one's body at age 13 and obviously they're much older than 13 so muse a has just refused to look. Muse b is in the same boat, and tries to throw the whole soul mate thing to the wind while trying to find love the 'natural' way. I haven't figured out where they could meet, like at a diner or something, and they just hit it off and again this is in the super beginning stages but one thing leads to another and one catches sight of their own name on the other's arm and just isn't sure what to do.
Plot 3:
Something where this detective has been following this criminal for ages, trying to pin them down but keeps coming up empty handed. But the criminal knows they're being chased after, so they completely make a game out of it by dropping hints and acting interested in them. Still haven't figured this one out all the way but I think this is one that sort of writes itself as we go along.
Plot 4:
Haven't thought of anything for this one yet but maybe something with gangs idk aaaaaaaaaaaaa I just have really high muse and want to come up with something with someone that we're both super into
