Friends Don't Leave Other Friends Behind (Open)

    OOC: I'm alive! The next couple of days'll be better! I swear it! Friday and Sunday at least. Saturday's a friend's birthday party, and she still hasn't exactly told me when I'm supposed to be there yet, so I dunno what's going on there. (Oh my gosh, those gifs are killing me! XD)


    Yeah. Hau could be with them. They could get separated if you want a shipping moment for Elio and Lillie (unless you want a third wheel), and he could find his way back to Gladion and Caden. Or Caden could be with Elio and Lillie while Hau's with Gladion. Honestly, I don't mind if Hau and Gladion are spending time together, and they can definitely bond. I just don't want to ship them like we're doing with Lillie and Elio right now.


    Ask around? For rumors of the other flute? (Am I on the right track?)

    honestly, all those ideas sound great


    tho if we go with the hau and gladion bonding, i'm prolly gonna be all lowkey

    You know what would be funny XD (wtf I just typed this where did it go o.O I looked up for a while and then the text was gone... or did I imagine typing it..... oh boy) if Navi didn't know what a normal Ralts was, so she thought hers wasn't normal. Cause I doubt everyone knows what every single Pokémon is by heart like fans do XD


    Ic She smiled slightly, "You can just ask you know. I'm not that reserved." She said, understanding that she was being more on the secretive side, and that this seemed to disappoint or agitate Phoenix. She slipped her bag off while they walked and grabbed Ekaitz' ball before stopping and letting the Eelektross free. The 6 ft eel like beast formed between the two maybe the girls look like they could be in potential danger with the presence of a bigger Pokémon. "This is Ekaitz." She said with a soft smile as she pet the side of its head.

    OOC: I guess I will :3


    A while later the group of friends had reached their destination at Poni Island, having been brought to Seafolk Village via boat. With the advancement in nautical technology and Alola being a region made up of multiple islands, they were there by the afternoon; about 5 o'clock to be exact. That gave them a little bit of time before it would start to get dark, when they reached the dock, Lillie had wasted no time in hopping off.


    Caden wasn't too far behind, having Vulpix cradled in his arms. She had to be one of the sweetest Pokemon Lillie had ever met, albeit a bit timid. The Fire-type was rather wary at first with the others, but during the time on the boat she had warmed up to Lillie and even curled up on her lap at one point.


    Lillie had to admit, if she could ever catch her own Pokemon... Then she'd probably go for a Vulpix.


    After everyone had left the boat, they split up into groups in order to ask around... Gladion and Hau would ask around Seafolk Village while Lillie, Elio, and Caden would try the Poni Wilds; a rather popular spot for trainers.

    OOC: True, true. And I love that idea! Let's do it!


    And I'm going to check that out ASAP.


    IC: "Whoa..." Nikki breathed reverently. She had to admit, that eel was pretty stinking cool.


    Shard, on the other hand, tensed at the sight of the electric type, his eyes daggers. A strange, hissing sound came out of him as he thrashed his tail.


    "Wha-? Shard!" Phoenix gaped at the salamander's sudden turn in demeanor. She reached a hand up to him, but he leapt off of her and stared up at the towering Elektrik challengingly. Phoenix quickly caught on to what he wanted. "U-uh... I dunno... Are you sure?"


    ~


    "E-eh?" Hau started, having been completely zoned out before. He turned his focus to Gladion. "How could you tell I was looking at the noodle place?" He asked, bewildered. He thought he'd been discrete about it, but obviously he wasn't as successful as he had aimed for.

    OOC: Awesome artwork! ^u^


    Lillie had let Elio and Caden take the lead when they had reached the Poni Wilds, since it was a place with a lot of tall grass and she didn't have a team of her own in case a wild Pokemon popped up. She looked around at the surrounding area, they hadn't come across any trainers just yet but if they did then they would be able to ask about the legendary Pokemon and what not.


    Caden had since moved Vulpix so that she was perched upon his shoulders, having a good view of the path ahead.

    "You're drooling" Gladion deadpanned


    Elio meanwhile made sure to ask every trainer they encountered, and of course battle them. It was literally his only income source


    ooc: you sure you don't wanna skip ahead to the actual fire trial? Plots kinda waiting on ya


    also, I just noticed that there was a little bit of a goof with the comic. Chapter 2 is missing a page! I don't know how that happened, but I'm working to fix it right now. hang tight!

    Caden and Lillie would both watch from the side lines as Elio went to battle whatever trainers they had come across. Lillie, of course, cheered him on while Caden just patiently watched.

    OOC: It won't load. Ugh. Immona try again when I get the chance.


    The plot with Navi and Phoenix? Does it include Elio and Lillie? I thought they were going to bump into the Skull Grunts that were spying on them earlier? Or are you talking about the Golbat and Plumeria? We can skip ahead if we need to.


    IC: "Oh." Hau laughed. "Whoops." His hands rested behind his head again. "Well, who didja have in mind?" The boy inquired, his eyes searching the area for an individual who stuck out somehow. He wasn't really using any particular logic to figure out who to ask, merely relying on his gut. Though he supposed he could just ask everyone they came across...

    ooc: I'm hoping we could skip a little ahead to when that Golbat finally reaches Navi. Plumeria can't have a phone call and ambush our heroes at the same time, now can she?


    until then, maybe I can slap in a few grunts who were kinda just hanging around on Poni in search of the group (there's grunts everywhere, yo!) who do some light ambushing. Elio defeats them obviously, but by the time the phone call is done, Guzma and Plumeria would've received that tip from that one grunt's Zubat, and maybe some notification from the Poni grunts. I keep imagining the final ambush i'm building up to would happen in a place like grand poni canyon. Skull swoops in to interrupt our heroes while they're on their way to the altar. Shit happens.

    Okay. Yeah, I think we can timeskip. Golbat can probably arrive in the middle of her trial.


    Lol. Sounds good t'me. Is there something specific you wanted Gladion and Hau to do, or are they just hanging until Caden or someone comes for help? ... Or are we going to save the urgency for Plumeria and Guzma?


    I feel like I'm missing some very obvious. Sorry if I am.
