  • yah, we can start with the day that they are given the dare.

I had just gotten out of my yellow voltswagen, when I heard a horn honk. I turned around to see a group of kids shouting at one another. Of course, it was the popular kids group, with Lance in the middle. I turned around and started walking towards the school. The farther away I was from them, the better my day would get.

  • I shook my head and pushed my way through the little group. Sometimes this got a little...over the top. I headed for my friend, Jane, who just so happened to be the girl currently waving at Kate. Yeah, I knew her name. Didn't really talk much - my friends wouldn't allow it. I approached her quickly with a bright smile. "Hey, Jane."

//Jane's gonna be the name of their mutual friend (basically she's Lance and Kate's friend, but Kate and Lance aren't friends)

  • i saw jane walking towards me just as Lance was calling her name. I watched as he ran up to her, and I just turned around and kept walking. She could talk to me later, if she had to. The doors to the school, swung open wide, and the smell of must suffocated my nostrils. People pushed past me, but I kept my path straight. I finally reached mylocker, and shoved my brown leather bag, my mother gave me for my birthday, into the abyss of textbooks and papers.

P.S. im on mobile so my responses may be blunt or short for the moment

  • My conversation with Jane remained short, but she'd pretty much dared me to go into this abandoned amusement park that had been living at the end of her street for the past three years. Me being me, I accepted it. What could go wrong? Now done with that, I headed to my locker as she approached Kate with the same dare.

  • Jane ran up to me on my way to home room. " I have a dare for you Kate, the abandoned amusement park is lonely, you should stay a couple of days" she had said. I agreed because I would not be known as the scaredy cat. Little did I know Lance was supposed to be there. Jane grinned from ear to ear, and skipped away full of pride. I realized that after tgird block I would need to leave to pack my things.

  • School did indeed fly by that day. We were just lucky spring break was right around the corner, really. I rummaged around in my locker for a while before I pulled out my phone and a couple of books, heading for the front gate where my dad was waiting in his car.

  • I was in my room, collecting my hygene supplies, when my phone rang. All it said was to meet at the front gate at 6 pm. I guessed it was from Jane, but it didn't look like how she would text me.

  • Once my things were packed, I made haste to get to the front gate by 6pm, like I'd also agreed to do. I waited before going in though. It was almost as if I expected someone else to come too.

  • I glanced over in Kate's direction and raised an eyebrow, but I was quick to piece things together. I approached Kate without even thinking twice. "I see Jane dared you too?" I guessed with a friendly grin.

  • "Sadly?" I chuckled a little. "Savage. Whatever, let's just get this over with. Hope you don't mind if I do homework at some point." It was a habit of mine to get any holiday homework we were set over and done with within the first couple days of said holiday. Spring break was no exception, regardless of where I was.

  • I sighed. Kate was going to be hard to get along with, that was for sure. "Well, let's save that for when we have nothing else to do. Right now, let's go in." Excitement flashed in Lance's brown eyes as he pushed open the creaky gates and walked confidently in.
