Eyes widening, Alicia gasped as a blush ceased to fade on her cheeks. She........ She wasn't expecting THAT to be said.
"U-Uh... Really?"

Dexter felt himself blush and he moved his hand away.
"Yes, definitely."

For a moment, Alicia stared at him, unable to say anything else until she snapped back to reality and turned away.
"U-Uh..... Thank you.. I guess."

Dexter chuckled nervously.
"You're welcome."
He then leaned back onto the sofa and looked in the opposite direction.Was this right?
Should he be falling for someone who is in love with nature when he isn't even natural himself?

Alicia stood.
"I-I'm gonna grab some water. Excuse me." She stated before heading into the kitchen.

"O-Okay.." Dexter replied, biting his lip slightly.

Gulping down the water, Alicia coughed a little at the end and looked out of the window. What the hell was she thinking? And why did she act like this?
It was just a compliment.. But why did it mean so much?
"HELP! GUYS!" A voice called out.
Lou?
Without a moment' hesitation, Alicia ran out of the kitchen, past Dexter and out of the front door, seeing Lou there with cuts and bruises and burn marks.

Dexter saw Alicia running out the house and followed her out.
There, bleeding and bruised, stood Lou.
He could see her legs shaking, so he quickly ran forward and caught her as she fell.
"Lou!? What happened?"

"T-The base... It's being raided.... Everyone i-is.. I-IS.." She winced in agony as she wasn't able to focus on her words. There was too much pain.
"I can use my power.. To heal her. Get her inside." Alicia called out.

Dexter did what he was told and quickly went inside, placing Lou onto the sofa.

Lou writhed in agony, struggling to stay still.
"Hold her still please." She said in English. And the girl was surprised she heard her talk in her language.

Dexter nodded, holding the girl down.
He was gentle, but used little force.

Alicia gulped. It... Had been a while since she used her powers. What if-
No, no "not if's" now... Just gotta go for it.
Humming to herself, she placed her hands over her wounds and they began to glow. But Lou by now was screaming because of how painful it was. Due to how it is equivalent to burning a wound shut and healing it.
But the pain was something Alicia endured also. But she kept her cool and managed it the best she could until most of the wounds were healed that were life threatening. The others can be easily taken care of by hand.
*Pant, pant* "She...... She should be...... Okay."

Dexter found himself holding his "breath" throughout the whole experience.
But when they were finished, he let out the breath.
He looked to Alicia.
"Are you alright?"

Alicia leaned on the top of the arm of the sofa.
"Yeah.. Just need to regain my energy..."

Dexter walked to her side and gently rubbed her back.
"Do you need anything?"

"No.. I'm fine. Just need to sit down over here a moment. You finish off helping Lou.." Alicia shook her head in response as she sat down, holding her head a little with a shaky hand.

Dexter nodded and walked to Lou, picking up a glass of water on the side of the table and gently pouring it into her mouth.
