the young child looked around and surveyed her surroundings. it felt refreshing to have her bandanna on again, it acted like a crutch so she didn't have to see the horrified faces of her clanmates. three glowing green eyes accompanied with green glowing ears was not a welcome combination, nor was it a common one. the adult sized kitten felt up the ground using her odd and disproportionate human-like arms since she was unable to see at the moment, only able to see outlines using her amped up echolocation. the glowing pearly white markings that littered her black body lit up sporadically as a surge of emotions ran through 48. loneliness, sadness, fear, and excitement. it felt so strange to be excited for once.

48 did not know if she should stay in shadowclan or not due to the fact that everyone there seemed... at odds with her. on one hand, fell and calina were rather nice to her. on the other.. the others chose to ignore her for some reason. was she that grotesque that they would ignore a vulnerable and helpless child? the negative thoughts began affecting 48 and she quickly began flailing her arms a tiny bit, smacking against the ground and some tree branches. the child let out small grunts of pain as the appendages continued smacking up against every surface they came across.

it was only a matter of time before a new face, good or bad, showed up. she just hoped it was good.
