  • "A vampire prince and the human royal archmage's son. humans coexist with vampires, though a relationship between the two aren't seen kindly upon. They first meet as children at a meeting. Their fathers where great friends in the past so they were in each others life but grew apart as they grew older. The vampire prince's father dies. So now he has to take responsibility for the vampire race. When before he was kind of sheepish and thought he'd never take on that role. They can meet in a meeting and the archmage tells his son to help the prince out. One character is 7 and the other is 9 and meet again in their 20s.

In the palace, everything felt as if it was as in a grand scale for Vincent as he saw it as a younger child. As a 9 year old, he didn't have much needs in impending on the business of his father, or of the king. He felt that his presence at the table wasn't needed but his father insisted on taking him anyway. It never hurt to see what the job would require of him in the future. In a way as well, it made his posture a little straighter and the books in his arms more taught. As his father opened the door to the planning table, the king in the chair across the table and smiling at the presence of Vincent's father. the child gazed in wonder of the books in the shelves around them.

  • Dax sat in a chair next to his father. He was told to sit still, be quiet and listen to what the elders had to say. But he didn't care about any of that crap. He was 7 and just wanted to go explore the castle. He had been sent with his father because apparently setting the dinning room curtains on fire is a bad thing. Mhmm. The maid were filled with lies anyway.

He sat in his chair. But no way in hell was he sitting still. He was dangling his legs hitting underneath with every swing of his feet. Dax had his arm crossed over his chest and a big pout on his face. He knew with every hit his father was bubbling up with rage. He thought it was hilarious to see his father angry. And he wondered if he would lose his temper here in front of the council.

//Hope thats enough for you to go on.

  • // its plenty! Thank you!

Seymour sat down, his son sitting next to him orderly. Vincent continued to cradle the books in his arms at the sight of the King and the young prince. According to information his father gave him, the prince was two years younger than him. He certainly did look younger with the way he was acting, Vincent thought.
As brown eyes stared inqusitively at the young prince as the prince's movement made the King's anger bubble. However, he was good at keeping his face calmer.
This was all good distraction for Vincent at first, until an Elder at the table cleared his throat and started to announce the presence of everyone in the room. Now, once more, his eye's started to wander as it all drowned into noise.

  • By now Dax had stopped kicking his chair. He could tell that his father wasn't going to snap and that was no fun. For the first time he actually glanced around the room to see if there was anyone he knew. But all he saw was a bunch of old men in silly looking robes and hats. Until his eyes landed on Vincent. He had never seen him before. Well probably before he never left the castle. But he did look to be around his age. He wondered if he would be able to entertain him as long as this boring meeting went on. Dax started to sway back and forth in his chair keeping his eyes locked on the boy. Hoping he would be his attention.

  • // aa they end up having an adventure around the castle as the meeting went on and then depart for like 20 years. poor babs

Occasionally Vincent would look at his father as he spoke, talking about subjects that would be later in his responsibility. But for now? It didn't matter. In the corner of his eye, he saw that the vampire prince was no longer trying to bother the King, his respective father, but now swaying and having his eyes trained on Vincent. 'Is he usual like this active?' was a question that popped into the young boy's head. He later accepted that the meeting must be boring for both of them.

Vincent wasn't sure to show that the attention was not being thrown to a spoilsport. His eyes aimlessly looked to the right and left of him, before grabbing a book from the pile he had and rapidly flipping the pages from start to finish with his thumb, trying to match the sway motion of the prince.

  • //AAHHHH I am so sorry!! Somethings have happened and i had to be with family. I won't be as active as before but i'll try to come on as much as possible.

Dax looked at Vincent. He knew he saw him. The fact that he wasn't meeting his eyes bugged him. He decided that he wasn't worth his time. So he stuck his chin in the air with a little mmph. And continued to listen to the old men talk. They went on for what seemed like hours about the same old things. Dax sat still in his chair, shuffling every once in a while.
