  • [center][fancypost=width: 410px; font-family: arial; line-height:100%][align=justify]Aslanskies Curatio - daring adventurer of the great unknown, fierce protector of the right, and healer of the universe... pfft, yeah right.

Truth was, Aslan was still trying to discover who he truly was meant to be, and where he fit in on this earth. He had been born in WindClan, and had lived there for many months... but things were different now. There was no more Coralie, no more Iconoclast... no more Prague. He was all alone now, but it was a good thing. The tiger was out on a quest to find out more about himself, and so he decided to travel around a bit. Now, he had come across ShadowClan, a place where his adoptive mother was apparently murdered by someone.

If only he had known that it was the current leader that had taken her life.

Ah well, Aslan knew he needed a place to sleep for a little while, and so he couldn't help but bound over to the border and ask if he could stay... it could be like a visit, and perhaps he could help them out? All Aslan was really useful for was his medical knowledge, though he wondered if that was actually something that ShadowClan needed. Hmph.

    "He-hello? I'm Aslanskies, a t-traveler... I w-was wondering if I c-could maybe stay h-here for a little w-while?"

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px][font=verdana][size=9][align=justify]Haiiro never really knew much about WindClan, had only known anything about them from the people who visited Frisk after they returned to ShadowClan, from Kate Marsh when she moved in to have a dual-alliance back when ShadowClan and WindClan were still on good terms, and from Takumi, who had come here to spy, something Haiiro believed to be unprovoked. What had ShadowClan done to create such mistrust? He knew nothing of their positions, or even regular members, and so the boy had no idea who Aslanskies was - not from his appearance or even his name. Perhaps he was just oblivious to the world around him, so different from how he had been in his early youth, when he could be found wandering other Clans almost as much as he could be found in his home clan of BloodClan or the Elite.

And if Aslan was looking for a place that needed healers, then ShadowClan was the right place - with Haiiro being the head medic, yet having barely two weeks of training under his belt, it was no surprise that they needed some help. Of course he, of all others, would have the misfortune of being left without a mentor when he couldn't even read about medicine, or tell the difference between all of the herbs that he couldn't see. Perhaps he would be able to learn well with the help of Hope,no matter how much he would bet Sango would beat him into a pulp for turning to a RiverClanner for help. At least they had a truce.

Feeling his way over to the border from where he had been strolling through the flora, simply taking in the joys of the rain forest, and trying to get as much out of it as he couldn't when he was unable to see the glorious colors that he imagined would be there. Would it even be colorful? Surely it must be, if he brushed against so many plants, but he had no way of ever knowing. What was more pressing than the debate on whether or not the rain forest would be colorful, though, was the stranger that stood at the border, asking to stay. "You're welcome to, uh, stay here, Aslanskies," the canine-like creature spoke, voice kind. In fact, everything about him seemed to be kind, aside from the scars that laced his figure, but those made everything seem kinder, because one who was kind despite adversity was kinder still. "I'm Haiiro," he added as an introduction, simple and easy.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color:transparent; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9pt]the speech pattern in which this individual spoke reminded 48 of a laxed version of her inability to verbally communicate. it seemed to be normal, she guessed, to have a slight stutter. well, in her case, there was no slight stutter. 0X48 was just never taught how to properly speak. the vulnerable child that embodied an utter monstrosity timidly approached aslanskies, tilting her glowing head at his name. 48 figured she would be used to clan names by now, but that was not the case. the green glowing of her eyes and ears clashed with the glowing white markings on her pelt. she hoped to not scare this traveler, but that was probably a very hard thing to not do.

    "m-m-m..."

she tried to utter some words, but all that came out after the letter 'm' was unintelligible garbles. the child somewhat hung her head in shame, her three tails slowing to a stop behind her. however, the child was fairly grateful that haiiro showed up since she was unable to speak on her own. the wounds he had healed for her were feeling much better, 0X48 just hoped she could keep it that way.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 410px; font-family: arial; line-height:100%][align=justify]As far as healing opportunities went, it seemed like Aslan was in luck, though of course he didn't know that yet. He was relived however, when Haiiro had agreed that he could stay. His paws were aching from his travels and his stomach grumbling in hunger. StarClan knows how long he'd been going without food and rest.

"Th-thank you Haiiro," the little tiger child dipped his head respectfully as he spoke these words, now relaxing his muscles. Now, the next to approach was rather strange looking, though Aslan was more intrigued by her than afraid. She seemed a little skittish herself, which Aslanskies could relate to. He had been shy his whole life. "H-hi there! It's n-nice to meet you."

He hadn't caught her name or anything, but he wanted to be as kind and reassuring as possible. He couldn't help it... it was the medic in him.

[color=#ff9999]Finch flicked a large ear, observing the male tiger. Other than Luna, who was now dead, she didn't think they had any of the striped beasts lurking around Shadowclan territory, so it would be cool to have one around. [color=white]"Alright. Welcome to Shadowclan - I'm Finch, the Deputy. Where yah from?"[color=#ff9999]

If someone had asked Reducedemotions what he knew about Windclan, the answer would have been 'Who are they?'. The fennec fox padded over, peering at the tiger. Seemed to be a lot of felines lately. The joiner had a stutter? Out of nervousness or just a lack of speech practice? Of course, he didn't know that some people just naturally stuttered when they talked. "Hello," the fox dipped his head at the newcomer. The demon had suggested that he actually greet the people he met rather than sit there all silent and edgy. He hadn't caught the tiger's name, but hopefully he'll find out eventually.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 410px; font-family: arial; line-height:100%][align=justify]Aslan observed the white feline as she approached, dipping his head toward her. The deputy? That was nice to know, so that he could know who to go to whenever there was something wrong. "It's n-nice meeting you, F-Finch... I w-was born in Wi-WindClan and became a m-medic there, but after m-my mum's boyfriend killed m-my sister I r-ran off to HawkClan." The little tiger paused for a moment, clearing his throat as he chocked back the awful memories of Iconoclast murdering Woodenkit. I w-was also in RiverClan f-for a short period of time b-because that's where my m-mum lived... but I d-didn't stay long. I g-guess you can just say that I've b-been around."

Nobody could really blame him though. He was more loyal to people than to clans as a whole, but now he had no one left. No family... no friends. Nobody. It was just him, oh, and of course his little pet gecko Dan - who was currently hiding out in his herb satchel.

His attention was soon caught by a fox for a moment, nodding a greeting toward him. "H-hi, I'm A-Aslanskies."

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px][font=verdana][size=9][align=justify]As 0X48 approached, Haiiro couldn't help but flick a large gray ear towards the other, and offer her an expression that he could only hope looked comforting. She was surprisingly nice, despite her extremely shy tendencies, and so he wanted to show her s much kindness as he could afford while still keeping a focus on his duties. Turning his attention back to Aslanskies, he had every intention of introducing 0X48 until Finch came along, and so he held his tongue until they were done with their conversation, and he listened closely, wanting to know more about him. After all, it was healthy to learn more about people before befriending them, and so it could count as bonding, even if Haiiro hadn't given anything away yet.

As Aslan began telling his story of how he ended up here, Haiiro was shocked at how brutal it sounded, especially coming from so many proclans. Had he always had the wrong opinion of those groups, thinking that they were always peaceful? With a thoughtful expression, the boy nodded at the end of the young tiger's answer, and began to think that it reminded him a little of his own story, although much more dramatic, he supposed. There was no death in his story, but he had been alone and moving around for quite a while. "That's a lot of places," he answered, still a bit wrapped up in his own thoughts, although he quickly remembered his plans to introduce the strange mutated feline.

Gesturing his long feline tail to 48, the boy said, "This is Montego, or 0X48." Although it was clear which name seemed kinder.

  • Looks like someone else stammered. It was kind of reassuring, really, to see she wasn't the only one. Gordon crawled over, hanging near Haiiro. "W-welcome to ShadowClan." Gordon squeaked out. "I'm-I'm Gordon Cipher."

    SWEET, SWEET, YOU'RE SO SWEET — frisk — shadowclan — they/them — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]"aslan?" you call out to the former windclan physician with round eyes, a spurt of surprise gracing your soft pudgy face as you toddle forward, sliding in between gordon and haiiro. its been awhile since you've seen the boy but he was the medic when you rejoined windclan, and you had been there when he resigned and gave up the position to his birth mother (who later took you in as her next apprentice). the timing is ironic though, seeing as how holydove left shadowclan for windclan, and the war that has been festering between the two groups is strong and ongoing. "hey! its been awhile." you feel a grin develop, throwing a paw up and offering the tiger alittle wave.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color:transparent; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9pt]a glowing green ear flickered in the direction of haiiro as he introduced her. that was so kind of him, one of the kindest acts she had ever witnessed in her short but cruel life. 48 looked at aslan and nodded to confirm what the male had stated. it was true that montego was a nice name, much nicer than 0X48. she liked that name. her three eyes shut as if to rid herself of some anxiety. as they opened back up, they were a bit glossy. it was hard to tell due to the fact they were glowing, but they were glossy with a few happy tears nonetheless.

    'h e l l o.'

she signed this in a pathetic attempt at some form of communication, but she did not know if aslan would know sign language. if 48 was in a much more enclosed environment, perhaps she would be able to form actual words then. but, for now, she was stuck with either sign language produced from her weird human-like arms or garbled words. she preferred the sign language much more to the garbled words.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 410px; font-family: arial; line-height:100%][align=justify]Montego. So that's her name. Aslan smiled gratefully toward Haiiro, now flickering his icy gaze toward Montego, who seemed to try to communicate with him using sign language. Even though the tiger didn't quite recognize what she was trying to tell him, he gave her a friendly nod and spoke once more to her. "He-hello Montego, it's n-nice to meet y-you." He was rather curious about her other name... 0X48, but decided not to ask about it. He'd just stick with Montego, since it seemed more like an actual name than 0X48 did.

The next to make an appearance was a Cipher named Gordon. It was interesting to hear that she carried a stutter with her as well. Honestly, the boy hadn't met many with stutters before, other than himself and his father, Praguespring. Aslanskies wasn't actually born with his stutter, but had gained it as Prague was the only one there to raise him until Coralie had come along. He supposed her had just picked up on the stutter, having been around his father so much as a young cub. "H-hey Gordon."

Suddenly, the tiger's attention was caught when he heard the ringing of a familiar voice, and lifted his gaze to find Frisk, whom he felt like he hadn't seen in ages. "F-Frisk? I d-didn't know that y-you lived here in S-ShadowClan," he admitted, but allowed his smile to grow wider, happy to see a familiar face for once. It had been quite some time since he saw anyone familiar, ever since he left Coralie and Prague behind back in RiverClan. "It's g-great to see you though! H-how have you b-been?" He inquired, tail flicking behind him as he waited for their response.
