She felt kinda bad, feeling rather monsterish for not showing more remorse, but she just couldn't muster it up. But the moment Jay laughed, her spirits brightened. When the other spoke, she listened carefully. Watching the other play with her hands, she tilted her head as Jay spoke, nodding along to show she was listening. When the other ended with a laugh, she let out a small chuckle. When asked about the experiment, she thought for a moment or two, "They liked sticking things in my neck. That was painful as hell. They also tested how mentally stable I was, locked me in a room for I think four weeks, I was alone except for slot that slid food in. I think it drove Wilson more mad then me. They always seemed to have some twisted fun breaking and revealing my legs, it was weird, but I'm able to run like hell now, and I'm slowly working my legs up to be able to climb and jump. I'm almost able to jump three times my height. They had me test it by jumping over these electric fields. Boy was that a picnic." She said a little sourly at the end. "And you my darling?" She said in a flirtatious manner.
-
Jay lightly widened her eyes as she listened to Jackie's story. She didn't know that they went through such lengths just to bestow their "gifts" unto human beings. She knew that most prisons were rather rude and insulting to their inmates, but something like this.. Well it was unforgivable. "Damn, I'm.. Well, I'm sorry about that." Was all she said as she put a warm hand on top of one of Jackie's for a sort of comforting mechanism. She hoped it worked. But she was caught off guard by the sudden flirt, and kind of liked Jackie calling her sweet little nicknames, it actually made her blush a bit and her body temperature rise. But now, it was her turn to share. "Well love.." She cooed. "With me, they knew that I was quick to use action other than thought.. So maybe that's why they gave me the abilities I have now. But.. It was a daily thing. They woke me from what little sleep I got and tore me from my bed and actually carried me to another room where they strapped me down on a table. I used to fight them, but later on I lost the will to do so." She softly frowned but she lightly shook her head, continuing on. "They injected me with all these serums and chemicals.. My body felt so sick, yet so powerful at the same time.. Like, it felt so warm yet so empty and cold. It was strange." She sighed. "But they put me through all these tests where they pointed at something and told me to either push against it or punch. I trained like that for hours on end to the point my knuckles and arms and sides were either bruised and bloodied." She gazed down at her hands as if she was reliving the memory of the time she sat alone in her cell and did nothing but stare at her wounds until she stopped caring. "It was rough.. But.. Now my strength is abnormally heightened and I'm able to.. Push things away with a sort of.. Force field that shoots out of my palm.." She looked away from her hands and soon ran them through her hair. "And.. I actually used to have black hair you know.. And.. Green eyes.." Her golden gaze softened and warmed as she looked back to Jackie. "My mom said that my eyes were as green as a leaf.. I never really knew what that meant but.. Anyway, the chemicals in those serums bleached my hair- ridding it of its pigment.. And my eyes lightened to a sort of gold color.." She then lightly smiled and shook her head. "But hey... Your turn now.. Where exactly are you from, Jackie?" She asked with a more softer tone, soon lightly leaning close to Jackie.
-
Jackie didn't bother to tell her she did in fact have it coming. For she had taken a small chunk out of a workers shoulder in one of her many fits of 'psychiatric rage.' But she enjoyed the comfort, and didn't protest. When Jay was speaking her tale, and she looked at her hands, Jackie carefully took one in her own, nodding along. When the other leaned closer and asked where she was from, she took a moment to think, once again grabbing the other's warm hand finding it comforting to hold. "Let's see... I came from around Squall actually. Wilson and I were born about fifty miles south from it, in a small group of ragtag neighbors."
-
Thanks! Question, though...Where do I jump in, exactly?
-
You can jump in where your character is getting their supplies and you can be put in with Squad 13! They still haven't gotten their mission yet!
))Jay looked down at their hands and softly smiled, feeling her heart flutter a bit at the contact. She knew that physical contact was a way for Jackie to feel comfortable, but to Jay, she was finding that she was really enjoying it. As she listened to Jackie, she slyly entwined their fingers subtly. "Wow, around Squall, hmm?" She gazed at the other, slightly amused. She remembered hearing about how religious the city was. Everyday, everyone in the city would attend church and chant and pray. But, they worshiped mother nature, seeing it as the cure for everything tainted in this world. Yet a religion from before has transferred over as well through the years, and it was Christianity. It was strange, and Jay could never understand how anyone could take it seriously. "Since you were around it, were you religious in any way?"

Chimera walked in silence for a few long moments, then hissed suddenly and pressed his hand to his right temple, like he did before. His body began morphing again, and after a few moments of rapid changing, he was back to his "normal" form. Well...almost. He still lacked the Anaconda tail, and his legs also resembled those of a lion. They were modified so he could still walk upright, though. His gait was a bit awkward, since he wasn't used to walking with these legs. "This is knew," he hummed quietly, lifting up one of his legs to examine the paws. "I usually can't form legs like this...odd..." he then chuckled, and continued walking. "That's one benefit of malfunctions; I discover new abilities...sometimes."
-
//Sounds good!
"Alright, you. Let's go."
Nahiossi looked unblinking at the guard as the door to his cell was slid open with rattling clanks. He frowned, thinking of how easily he could overpower this man if he wanted to...But undoubtedly they had backup if he attempted to, so he decided against making a move. "Fine," he grumbled, getting to his feet and letting himself be directed to the supply room.
From what he knew, he had been assigned to Squad 13 of a zombie-killing crew or some sort of related cr*p (not by choice), in return for a jail-time pardon. Prior to this, he had been subjected to a 'preparation' shot which they did not specify what it would do in the field and he would have to figure out for himself. F*cking fantastic.
//Low muse. Sorry.

She had a small smirk as their fingers intertwined, it was nice. She smiled and nodded, confirming the question. She stuck her tongue, "Oh hell no! Those freaks put to much stress on everything. Plus they would've had a bigger fit then the officers at is burning down the homes!" She stated with a sour face, chuckling.
He had been enjoy the quietness of the air, it was nice to feel a good breeze, and the hot sun. When the other made a hissing noise, he stopped, allowing the other to do whatever he was doing. It seems it was morphing once more. Wilson took interest in the process, and when he was done, he smirked, chuckling softly at the comment, "What an optimistic." He walked next to him.
-
He chuckled quietly and smirked, looking at Wilson through the corner of his eye. "Hey, I try my best to stay an optimist," he hummed, shrugging. "Finding nice things in a time like this is difficult, y'know," he stated, gazing off into the distance. A low sigh escaped his lips, and then a yelp when he stumbled a bit, and cursing under his breath he lifted his leg back up to examine it. "No damage..." he muttered to himself, then sighed. "Weak bones maybe? I don't know anymore..." grumbling quietly, he finally sighed in defeat, and slumped over.
-
Jay softly laughed and lightly shook her head. "Damn. I could never deal with living in a place like that.. People so uptight for nothing other than them saying 'oh I believe this so this is why I behave this way'.. Or something like that." She gazed down at their hands and smiled even more, her cheeks delicately flustering. As the drive went on, things started to get bumpy since they were driving downhill. So there were hills to conquer, rocks dotted all over the dirt floor, and dead bushes and branches. So, it was a little rough and dusty. A bit of dust made its way into Jay's eye, which caused her to lightly grunt and frantically rub her eye. "Jesus, this sucks.." She groaned, soon leaning down behind the seat in front of her just to shield herself from the debris and harsh sunlight. She looked to Jackie, concern in her eye. "Hey, you doing good so far?" She asked, soon finding the courage to take a bit of action. With their entwined hands, Jay began to lightly stroke Jackie's hand with her thumb. Sure, it was a small action, but Jay thought about doing it so many times already, so it was a small achievement to her.
-
Wilson smiled, and kept walking until his partner yelled in pain. He jumped back at the ready, before realizing his new aquantience had merely hurt himself. He walked over to the other, chuckling softly, "Come on big guy. Let's go round us up a ride." He moved so the other could lean against him to relieve pressure off of his legs.
Jackie smiled and nodded with a software laugh, that was pretty much what it was like. Everyday whenever she went into town, it was the same thing over and over again. She hand put her arm up to shield her face, but looked over with worry as the other started to curse. She leaned closer to the other, taking shelter behind the seat as well. When the other asked, she gave a smile, "Yeah. Don't worry." She nuzzled close to the other, her face flushing red as Jay rubbed he hand, she truly enjoyed the attention.
-
Jay lightly breathed out a soft whisper of laughter, soon being brave enough to reach over to slowly touch and hold Jackie's other hand, her eyes moving along the girl's features with a look of subtle desire. She gazed at Jackie's neck, her gaze tracing along her collarbones, then slowly up the surface of her neck until her eyes landed upon the sharpness of the girl's jawline. It was.. Tasty looking, to say the least. Jay mentally slapped herself at that thought. She just couldn't believe how deliciously distracting Jackie was to her right now. Especially since the girl was so close. "S-So.." She smiled softly as she tore her eyes away to look at Jackie's face, now she was trying to be a gentleman. "You.. You feeling comfortable, m'lady?" Jay asked as she turned her gaze down to just stare at their hands. She began to busy herself by using one fingertip to delicately trace along Jackie's fingers with feather-like touches.
-
Chimera smiled with gratitude when Wilson allowed him to lean on him for support, and rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment, he chuckled quietly. "Thanks man," he hummed, offering them a toothy smile. "Sorry for all this...all these transformations seriously f--ked up my body," he sighed, ears lowering. "Yea...they'll probably kill us off if we keep stalling," he grumbled, and gazing off into the distance, he brought a hand to his face, and grabbed it with his other. Pressing his thumb into the palm, his claws were forced out of their sheaths. He repeated the process various times, and sighing quietly he let one of his arms dangle by his side, and the other hesitantly wrapped around Wilson's shoulders. "Do you think this mission will be...fun?" He hummed, tilting his head to the side. His pace quickened up a bit; the thought of being clicked on and killed was starting to unnerve him.
-
She felt herself burn under how intensely Jay was study her. It was oddly satisfying in a way, feeling as though she enticed the other, but also threatening. She wasn't sure how to feel, but she did know that when the other looked back on to her face, she didn't feel as threatened and whatever else. She let out a soft laugh, "What a gentlewoman. I feel rather lovely, being able to go out and all." To her, it almost felt like a date.
"No problem." He said, offering his own awkward, toothy smile. "Ehh, don't worry, I can kinda relate. You wouldn't imagine how many things I ran into because of these damned things." He said, rendering to the antlers which he now treasured. When the other wrapped his arm around his shoulder, he took the hand, pulling on it slightly to make sure the other was secure, before moving along with him. He thought for a moment or two before nodding, "I think it'll be nice to get back into the old swing of things. Or just to release these new found powers of ours."
-
"True," Chimera responded, and playfully rubbed a padded fingers on the tip of one of the prongs of his antlers. He then gestured to his hand, and unshealthed the claws. "I get my hands stuck sometimes," he chuckled, then sheathed said claws and let the arm dangle by his side again. His ears began to swivel around, and would angle towards any source of noise available. "I'll see if I can hear anything promising," he hummed, then went back to searching.
-
He watched as he touched the antlers, and smirked. "Sounds painful." When he other offered to listen he nodded, and watched the streets. He knew they were headed to the drifter garage, but that's all he knew.
-
Chimera's ears then angled in one direction, and flicking them, he gestured in said direction. "Something over there sounds like drifter," he hummed, quirking a brow. "Head that way I guess?"
-
Wilson nodded, "Alright. Sounds like a plan." He helped the other over the way he saw his ear flick. He wasn't sure whether or not to allow the other to walk on his own again. He didn't want to take on the job single handedly.

//So when is Squad 13 getting deployed?
