  • Plot: Okay! So as the title says, this is basically a Zombie Apocalypse thread, but with a twist! The twist is.. Well a variety of things. Humanity is close to extinction with only a few human settlements scattered around the country. Many are either too afraid or too frail to fight back against the zombies and monsters preying among the living. However, there is one team of people that is charged with protecting the future of humanity; their name is Kage Gun- or "Shadow Army". Now, the twist is that this group of people are convicts, meaning that they're found guilty of many crimes committed in the settlements. Even though they're held in the makeshift prisons, all of the convicts were put in a series of tests and experiments that eventually give them supernatural powers, though, these people are criminals, so the way to keep them from using their powers on the innocent, each of them are injected with a chip that will self destruct when activated, killing that criminal instantly. All criminals are kept in a secured location where they'll be called upon when needed.

    Bio: Jay was born and raised in a small settlement along the outskirts of the West coast. Her mother died due to life threatening illnesses, because of this, her family entered a severe depression. While her family was poor, her father tried getting some work for food and water, so he ended up being one of the town guards while Jay stayed home to take care of her younger brother. In her teens, because of her father being away, she turned to stealing food and supplies in order to feed her brother. Though, it was her own father who caught her and arrested her. She formed an undying hatred for her father, which led to her escaping prison and murdering her father in the night and robbing many of the stores just to give food to her brother. That night, she ran into the deserts and survived for a week on her own before patrolling guards found her and took her into custody once more. While in prison, she was chosen and taken to Monsoon to go through the many sanity threatening experiments. It was because of the many chemicals she consumed that her then black hair turned white and her green eyes lightened to a shade of golden yellow.

    Personality: She is often silent and keeps to herself and is also known for her short temper. She keeps her past to herself unless she really trusts you. Though, when she really trusts you, she stops at nothing to protect you and would gladly take a bullet for you. She's as loyal as a hound and will never lie, unless she feels that it would protect you. Jay also loves losing herself in books and sketching, however, she dislikes arrogant and ignorant people. She is a hopeless romantic, though she keeps that a secret as she finds it a bit embarrassing to admit.

  • Nice! Accepted DeadEyes. :) And thanks for the Track!! If you want, we can start this off and just continue it as people join in.. I'm too excited to wait for people. XD

  • Okay! OKAY!!! :D ))

    It all started with the sound of a siren. This was all so foreign that it was hard for her to focus. Especially after all she went through. She has been locked up here for about 2 years now, and it surprised her that she still had her sanity intact. But she wanted to escape, to leave and run away to be on her own. She had her own plan too, a plan that she brushed over again and again in her head whenever she went to sleep. There was no doubt in her mind that she would fail. She studied the guards' pathways, mapped out the entire prison in her mind, figured out weak spots in the structure of her cell.. This would be a piece of cake. If anything, she would be home free before it was the afternoon.
    So, it was the sound of the siren and the opening of her cell door that triggered her mind to tell her body to run. So she did just that. She dashed through the door and didn't look back. She ran down the hallway she would look at whenever she passed it for her duties, all she would have to do is turn right, then left, bypass the doors and she would be free. But, it was too good to be true since her vision quickly blacked out and her body hit the ground hard.
    When she woke up, she was in another room filled with many tables. She tried to move, but she felt numb. She looked down and saw that her limbs were tied down, and due to the numbness, it was useless for her to try to use her strength to break out. Just what was happening? Was this all staged in the beginning? Did security open all the cells just so everyone could be drugged and held hostage in this very room? Jay didn't know. Though, she saw that more prisoners were here with her, all drugged and unable to use their powers to escape. She inspected them a bit closer. She widened her eyes when she saw the side of their necks. A black device was probed inside their necks! But for what reason?! Did those bastards inject her with one of those devices too?
    It was hours later, Jay woke up from her drugged induced sleep in the same room and saw that the room was filled with other prisoners, all strapped down beyond their will. It was obvious that something was going on. But what was it? But now, Jay was removed from her thoughts when the sound of the intercom screeched on. A deep voice filled the silence of the room, and Jay narrowed her eyes in hatred as she listened to the head boss of this accursed place.
    "I hope this was a good way to wake you all up.." Said the boss, a sick laugh soon following after. "Now, I know all of you want to know what's been going on.. With all the tests we put you through and now this.. So I'll tell you." Jay felt herself clenching her jaw, her anger slowly taking over her body. "Well, you have all been selected.. You all have been.. Programmed.. For protection. Your powers will be used to kill all those monsters out there, and whatever else civilization wants of you. But.." The room was filled with a sort of suspense. "If any of you try anything, you will be eliminated immediately. All I have to do is find your name.. Click on it.. And.. You die." A scream was heard in the room as well as the collapse of a body. This was no doubt an example to show that he was serious. "Now, all of you will be assigned a group, weapons, armor, and a mission.. You shall complete that mission with no casualties. If there are any casualties, you will be eliminated and fed to those heathens who roam this world." And it was then that the intercom went silent, and all the fastens around Jay's limbs quickly retracted into the table she was laying on. She groggily sat up, seeing that all the other prisoners were doing the same. Though, she stayed still, her body still numb yet aching. She wondered what would be happening next as she placed her hand on the side of her neck, feeling the slight bump of the device they inserted into her...

  • Jackie and Wilson both had been sleeping soundly, laying still. The two were rather exhausted, they had both been through some rather intense training and experimentation. But they got up together, like they always have for the past who knows how many years. God was it weird to wake and smell the horrid metallic scent of the labs. They started the day off as always, beating each other up. The guards have seen them do it for however long they were, and never really paid much attention to it, there was no use. Anyone who tended to get in the way had their asses handed to them by this dynamic and rather sassy duo.
    Although the sirens came as quite the shock. Just as Jackie launched a quick jab to her brother's jaw, a loud sound made both of them cover each other's back, and become aware of the world once more. Wilson was the first to notice the door starting to open, in which he grabbed his sister's rather soft hand, and pulled her to himself. Being careful not to touch the door just in case it could have harmed them, the two took off, following another inmate who wasn't way too far ahead. Although unable to even catch up to the strange female ahead of them, they hit the ground hard, feeling the effects of... Well something! They just didn't know what. Jackie was first to loose her consciousness, with Wilson close behind, still gripping the other's hand in a protective older brotherly fashion.
    When the siblings came to, they both looked to find the other, before trying to struggle against the bonds that held them. Jackie made eye contact with her brother, her eyes screaming the same thoughts as he brother, 'what the hell is going on?' As a loud, deep, cracky voice came, they both flinched. After the head honcho was done talking, and they were released, the two quickly made their way to the other, Wilson deciding to make a slightly twisted joke to lighten the mood of his worried, and slightly terrified sister, "Look at it this way, we get to beat up other guys instead of each other." His sister smiled softly, looking around at all the others who were feeling their necks or trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

    It was hard to move, that much was for sure, but somehow, Jay managed to feel her body twitch to life, the feeling of tiny needles stabbing at her skin tingled all over her body. She silently ignored it as she hopped onto her feet, stumbling only slightly as she regained her balance. Her golden eyes inspected everything before her as she slowly walked forward, but stopped suddenly as she saw many guards entering the room wheeling in various containers. One of the guards shouted for everyone to be quiet as he began to speak. "Come get some equipment and suit up. Once you're ready, your name will be called along with the squad number you'll be assigned to. Meet up with your squad along the walls and wait until further instructions!." The guard finished speaking and Jay watched as almost a hoard of prisoners started pushing and shoving their way to the now opened containers where they rummaged through for the best items. Luckily, many containers were untouched, so Jay made her way over and started digging, though softly winced whenever she moved too much. Her body still wasn't used to reality just yet.
    Many of the items she found were basically crap. Many of the guns were rusted and unable to fire while some of the armor was broken or torn, naming it useless. But luckily with patience, Jay managed to find something useful. She found a tomahawk that was beautifully crafted with silver, even though it had a couple of scratches and dinks here and there, it was incredibly balanced and deadly. She also found two matching pistols that looked to be crafted out of the purest and blackest of metals. They were used though and a bit old, however, Jay would be able to fix them a bit so they can work as good as new. Finally, Jay found a leather holster that she strapped on quickly, some kneepads and a shin guard, some gloves and only one arm guard. It wasn't perfect, but it was all better than nothing. Now, it was time for her to listen for her name and see who her squad would be.

    ((Do any of you have a preference of who you want to be paired with? Or can it just be randomized? I was just going to assign it randomly... ))

  • Jackie watched as the guards entered calmly, she almost knew they wouldn't do anything to them now. They were worth too much, but that's just how she took it. A much different opinion then her brother, who was more or less ready to just start tearing through people and items. He had a rather crazed animal look in his eye, and even though he was part deer, and they tended to be docile, he was ready to rage and rampage. They listened closely, following the others at a slower pace, feeling rather weird moving too fast. They both went through, Jackie's eyes lighting up at the forearm machete, it was small and she tended to enjoy close up combat, but her brother of course still gave her a gun, "Long distance without being to far away." He grumbled, favoring the revolvers himself, but he still couldn't help but find a short sword that seemed to just scream his name.

    //don't bother me none

  • //I'm fine with anyone c: also thank u omg ;0;

    First the siren, then that warning, and now this.

    Osiris truly had no idea what was going on. When he and the other prisoners were released and ushered into the weapon room, everything seemed to be moving too fast for his doped-up head to keep up with. Squads? A mission? No casualties?

    His head was swimming with questions, yet he did as he was told. The more he thought and shuffled around the bins filled to the brim with supplies(most of which were a questionable quality), though, the more his mind cleared. He managed to salvage a working revolver, a holster to hold it, and some arm braces and gloves that must've been made from leather. Still not satisfied with his weaponry, though, he hurriedly picked through the pile again, and took the first thing with a blade that he saw: a Bowie knife.
    Its blade gleamed in the light of the room, mesmerizing him. After a moment of staring at his treasure, he decided one more knife would do. A few minutes later, he was waiting with the others, a hunting knife now a part of his arsenal. It was smaller, not quite as deadly, but balanced, so he'd figured he could throw it in a pinch.

    Now, he supposed, all that was left to do was wait. Maybe with enough time, he could completely understand the situation. For now, all he could do was run his fingers over the chip in his neck, unable to take them off it. How badly he wished he could rip it out...

  • Also, I don't mean to post twice but.. For the people who have 2 characters, are you comfortable with me splitting them up and putting them with other people for the teams? ))
