ANGST COMA — went into one after they hit their one year anniversary on feralfront and all events of the previous year came flooding back to them due to the sight malfunctioning; didnt wake up for two weeks and was basically trapped with their internal demons. see 'break the cutie', 'nightmare fuel', or 'dark and troubled past' for more information.

DARK AND TROUBLED PAST — wip

DETERMINATOR — being the physical embodiment of determination and sheer will, it only makes sense to have this on here. their determination is so strong that they can even evade death because of their refusual to die.

HEROIC BSD — has officially hit this stage after bill cipher broke up their soul. emotionally unstable and ten times more sensitive than before, will flinch at unexpected contact, cry over small, seemingly unimportant things, and panic if pinned down. has even stopped taking their meds out of fear of being caught off guard and attacked.

[center][fancypost=border-width:0; width: 380px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: arial; font-size: 7pt;]— frisk originates from the underverse, horrortale, for the most part. horrortale is a universe where the underground is in ruins after a human completes a neutral route and undyne essentially becomes queen with a vengeance to kill and devour any humans that come down. frisk happens to be one of those unlucky humans. all the monsters are twice the size here than they are in the original series, and none of them are nice. in fact, the only monster you can call "nice" is papyrus, and even he is a hazard to your health. he CAN protect the player from sans though, since the other usually doesnt try anything when he is around. usually. (its best not to push him.)

— speaking of sans, frisk for the most part has mixed, confused feelings on the skeleton. they've died at his hands on several occasions, and are made acutely uncomfortable in his presence. however they have also seen hints of kindness in him, which has encouraged them enough to give him terms of endearment (teddy, bear) which he seems to be more amused by than anything else (this doesnt stop him from killing them, though). sans generally refers to them as "kid, brat, and *on super rare occasions* baby-bones". the only time he calls them by their name is when he is deathly serious about something.

— due to the trauma-inducing state that the events of horrortale left frisk in, when they came to feralfront, the sight instantly blocked the memories from their mind frame, and now they only show in the form of dreams (or in this case, nightmares). running into a character from horrortale, particularly a flowey, toriel, sans, or papyrus, will probably bring these memories back.

— sans and frisk once bonded over putting a human skeleton back together. they came along sans messing with it and rather than turning back to find papyrus, they decided to stay and offer to help. surprisingly enough, he let them, and watched them put the skeleton back together (whilst telling them what part goes where). it was pretty much a human-sized puzzle. that is probably the best memory frisk has of him.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]frisk wasn't brought into the world out of love, nor were they born because of lust. they were actually meant to be a lesson. mothernature had never been a forgiving soul, and was rather protective when it came to her creations and the things she breathes life into. they were, to her, a bunch of little toy dolls that got to grow and age and experiment with what life had to offer, which amused mother. fathertime, however, didnt care about the living at all. he didn't care what they did with the life given to them as his job was just to take it when it had drawn to a close. as suspected, this didnt sit right with mother, and she ordered him to stop. father hadnt listened. he was, and still is, impassive towards mothernature's annoyance whenever he reaped those who have met their end, destroying the life that she had created. one day, mother thought enough was enough, and cursed fathertime to live twenty-four hours with the gift of life rather than death, meaning that instead of everything withering and dying at his touch and/or command, they were revived. and so he made frisk. it wasn't intentional- fathertime tried to pull a soul out of a worn corpse and ended up renewing it rather than reaping it, and frisk was reincarnated into this universe.

at first, he was startled that some unfortunate creatures soul was recycled to create this small child, but that quickly turned to annoyance; he couldn't take care of them- he didnt know the first thing about the living, let alone the needs of an infant. enraged that he now had a baby on his hands, he turned to mothernature and demanded that she help fix this problem that had surfaced. she, however, simply laughed at his request, saying that when the twentyfour hours were up he could take their life and move on (the reason she didnt care that frisk died being the fact that she wasnt the one that directly brought them into the world. if she had made frisk then it probably would have been an entirely different situation). fathertime agreed with this solution and as the sun set, confirming that a day had passed, he went to reap little frisks soul and came up successful.

or so he thought.

frisk came back almost immediately, their soul reviving them right away. it surprised fathertime; how was he supposed to have known that the child he brought here coincidentally came from a world where a being's determination alone is strong enough to deter the wills of death? he hadnt, and after countless times spent trying to put and end to them, and them simply coming back, he gave up on the thought of reaping them. they were alive, but he wasnt about to babysit the little brat. no, he left frisk to fend for themself, not caring if they had lived or not because they weren't his problem, and he wasnt going to make them his problem. mothernature disagreed with fathertime's choices, but did not step up to the role of "parent", either.

— frisks fear of water stems from a scenario where sans told them that they could cross the lake to avoid papyrus' deadly puzzles. flowey had encouraged sans' advice for once and frisk went along with it. the ice turned out to be thin, however, and frisk fell through and wound up drowning. this fear was only magnified when darkstalker shoved them into the basins waters back in shadowclans old territory. now frisk avoids any and all kinds of bodies of water.

— frisk has been caught in one of papyrus' puzzles before, which turned out to be a bear trap. it clamps around their leg and is extremely painful. here, they have to rely on a random chance encounter. if papyrus comes along, then they will die immediately because papyrus would pounce on them and they would be crushed beneath his weight. if sans comes along, then they have a very slim chance to survive this trap. he offers to free them, and they initially decline. he offers again, saying he has a key. now this is where an option can be presented; accept his help or deny it. if they choose to let him help, he grabs them by their arm and says "keep that leg still, kiddo" frisk will ask about the key and sans will laugh before raising his axe and cheerfully announcing that "this is the key" before he sloppily hacks at their leg and they end up dying from blood loss. saying no for the second time will result in sans shrugging and leaving them alone, heading back the way he came. frisk can then have flowey free their leg and they can escape the trap.

— the first time sans is introduced is when frisk and flowey are escaping toriel and the ruins. toriel, hot on their trail, screams, "now sans, do it now!" and then bones erupt from the ground and frisk is impaled. this marks their first death, and spurs flowey to give them the speech about dying and determination, loads, save points, ect

— sans doesnt like it when frisk uses sign language. in fact, one time he got so sick of it he cut off their hands so that they couldnt do it anymore. they were forced to reset and restart the run because of this.

— "friendship does not mean safety" this is what flowey says after frisk befriends papyrus and he offers to hug them. if its accepted he picks them up and embraces them with all of his strength, crushing their body and instantly killing them. denying a hug will briefly upset him, but he quickly gets over it.
