The world is relatively normal, only relatively. With the appearance of Stand Users, people with the mystical ability to summon and control Stands, the world has become noticeably more chaotic, what with men being revived from a fossilized-like state, and people who can summon otherworldly beings that have reality altering abilities, people who look closely notice that even amidst wars and rumors of wars, that there are bizarre events that would baffle researchers world wide. There are few people who have the ability to manipulate and summon their own stand, and not one stand is like the other. There are stands that can control electricity, while others can freely move around in water, and some that can even halt the never ending march of time for short durations. You... You are one of those few people that can summon a stand, the rest is up to you. You have the potential to make Empires crumble, turn the tides of wars and battles, and you can cause world-wide events. What you decide to do with that kind of power is your choice.
OOC: General Rules
#1 All JJBA (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) stand physics apply, while certain exceptions may apply, whenever a stand is harmed, their stand user is harmed in the same manner, if the user and the stand have differing body types, for instance, the stand being a quadruped and the user being a biped, the quadruped stand's injury would reflect in a similar position on the user, for instance, a front right paw injury would be reflected on the user's right hand. Also, the vast majority of stands lose power in proportion to the distance between them and their user, with certain special exceptions dubbed "Automatic Pilots", thus, the average stand is at full power when they're closest to their user.
#2 No powerplaying, even though we're playing with God-tier levels of power when someone uses a stand, this doesn't instantly make them undefeatable and invincible. Just for an example of powerplaying. RP'er #1: "Star Platinum clocks Dio right in the face." Is an example of power playing, essentially, not giving your fellow RP'er a chance to respond to what your character is doing. However, this more often than not will only apply to combat. Just think of it as a common courtesy to keep powerplaying to a minimum.
#3 No OOC drama, no offense to anyone, but I hate hearing people's sob stories, and other people probably think like that too. So leave all of your life problems at the door when you write a post, don't drag us into the situation if there's something going on with you. Just let us know if you're leaving, or if you will be gone for a little while. Otherwise, OOC will be kept to chatting, asking questions, and any other general chatter.
#4 All of these rules are subject to revision, and it it very likely I will add new ones later. I am not a perfect human by any means, and it is very likely that something else will come up that I didn't think about that needs to change.
#5 I believe in a general two chance policy, everyone slips up every now and then, this policy is for those a-holes who take the extra step to either tick everyone off, or cause the entire thread to tailspin into needless drama that ruins everyone's fun. If someone says something exceptionally volatile, that clearly was an intentional attempt to offend people and cause issues, they will be banned asap.
#6 If you and another RP'er have a problem with each other, keep the problem private, and try to resolve it civilly, if needed I can step in and make a judgement after hearing both sides of the story.
If you have completed reading the entirety of the rules, add "A delicious Cookie" to the Other section of your form.
