    ▶ APATE EMBERSET ◀

    ▽ Hidden scrolling ▽

    Cracked earth.

The sound of distant cracking could be heard, the feline released- her ears turning slightly eastward as she faced the west. Red, red sands burned her paws but it was a dull pain. Something familiar and easy to ignore. Though it made her look lout like a sore thumb, with little of her ancestries rusty fur she was rather pale a hue of cream and copper combined. Like a white dot on a black background it made her nervous made her aware and she didn't like it- she didn't like it one bit. Being out in the open- it was new and sudden she wanted to go back- she wanted---

    She forced her mind blank.

And suddenly, the tension leaked from her, slowly the bundle of tension that had once reached her form fell fluidly. She stood poised now, tail high and weaving as she stood on all fours, simply waiting. Resting.

home. It was a word she knew in at least three different languages, the definition, the synonyms and the antonyms of it. Yet looking past the dunes where a small shape of what she assumed camp was... She didn't see home. Home was a box to her- a small box a place of darkness- fear- screaming--

She opened her mouth up, shutting it again, was anybody around? She would hate to repeat herself but.. maybe she needed to stop thinking- the quickest way to do that was to simply talk and talk she did.

"My name is Apate, Apate Emberset. Daughter of Cataclysm Emberset and Amour Darling." She breathed in deep, and exhaled slow, that was her name- the name given to her since birth. This wasn't a meer joining but a return a return home-"And I am here to rejoin my family in bloodclan."

Barbara called as she bounded over, coming to a halt almost directly in front of Apate and sending a gust of sand flying. Where had she heard Amour Darling before? She was sure she recognized it. She seated herself and licked at her dust-coated fur, wrinkling her nose. Was there any way to stay clean in this place? It sure didn't seem like it. One of her clanmates was called Cataclysm, too. Was it possible he was the "Cataclysm Emberset" this supposed returner was talking about? "Does your Cataclysm happen to be a tiger?" She still was confused about the other name - Amour something - but she would check about Cataclysm first. After all, he was still in Bloodclan. This "Amour" person was not. "Anyway, hey there baby, I'm Barbara." She grinned, waving her feathered tail before curling it around her paws.

"You have indeed arrived at the right spot." Bravo replied, calm and cool as he approached with a slight pain to his smile. Amour was a name thought brought forth many painful memories. "Amour.. she is no longer with us but I am sure your father will arrived soon." Maybe now was not the best time to mention their relation, or ask how she survived so long. Besides, it was not his daughter and therefore not his right to pry. "Welcome home, I am Bravo Amoux."
