  • [color=#cefffa] plot:

muse a and muse b have been best friends ever since they could first speak. the two are attached by the hip, everyone knowing them as the 'trouble double'. they both promised to always protect each other from cruel things in the world but what neither of them could avoid was heartbreaks. muse a had started to date someone they knew as a somewhat close friend and often found themselves swooning over their partner but it all crashes when their perfect somebody finds another perfect somebody. muse a is broken after the breakup and though they are not depressed they feel a bit low on self esteem. they start to distance themselves from others until muse b decides to finally take action. seeing her friend in distress, muse b swoops in to save the day as usual. since they had just graduated muse b decides to buy them both tickets to places around the world, starting with paris. yes, muse b is what you could call a trust fund baby. either way, they decide to surprise muse a with the tickets to different places, including places muse a wanted to go for their whole life. perking up at the idea, muse a happily accepts the offer and the two quickly head off to their first destination- paris. what happens when a trip between two friends turns into a trip between two future lovers? is it just the kindness of muse b or will the two ask each other out after obvious hinting?

  • This seems really interesting! I have multiple characters I could use here, some male some female, any preferences?

  • Alright.
Trinity Tessa Carvent (TTC, she hates her initials)
At a younger age she joyfully joined in on her friend's troublemaking, but as she got older her Hyper-religious family disapproved more and more of her friend and eventually forbade all contact. This never stopped Trinity, who still adores her friend. Trinity initially bonded with Weasley so well because she is also adopted.
Her 'boyfriend' was a boy from her family's church and while he was sweet and polite he hated his girlfriend's less than holy behavior and do broke up with her. This, combined with increased stress and friction between her and her family because of religion, is pushing newly 19 year old Trinity to the edge.))

Trinity runs out of her house for the fourth time that week, this time without her phone, which her father had just shattered out of anger with her. She doesn't really think about it but out of habit walks to Weasley's house, knocking on the vast door.

  • [color=powderblue][center]Wesley had been sitting on her couch when she felt a knock on her front door. Cocking a eyebrow, Wesley forced herself to stand. 'I wonder who it is?' She murmured inwardly as she shuffled towards the door, opening it to reveal her best friend, Trinity. "Hey Trin. You okay?" She asked, eyebrows furrowed in concern as she waited for a response.

  • Trinity didn't have her trademark biking jacket on or any jacket really, just a white tank top, meaning she must have left in a hurry. She rakes her hair back and heaves out a sigh.
"More pressure about my breakup with Alex and my absence from church, Brian broke my phone over the counter."
Brian was she dad, though she never called him such.
"Can I chill here again? Sorry to bug you again about it."

  • [color=powderblue][center]"You know you're always welcome here so of course." Wesley let out a loose chuckle, opening the door wider for her to enter. She paused for a moment before speaking. "I can buy you a new phone if you need one. Also, I have a small surprise for you." Wesley gave a toothy grin, making sure she was in before shutting the door behind them both. "We can go up to my room. It's up there anyways." She offered, sticking her hands into her pockets.

  • Trinity hugs Wesley and smiles.
"Thanks but I want to get my own again, I need to be self sufficient Wess."
She steps inside and walks with her friend.
"A surprise? What would that be?"
Her attitude suggested a perfectly comfortable and confident young woman but her tone screamed stress and anxiety, Trinity had a horrible habit of always trying to put up a strong front, even if she was cracking on the inside like now.

  • [color=powderblue][center]"You'll see." She winked to her friend as they reached her room. Opening the door for her, she headed over to her dressed and picked up a few pieces of paper. Turning to her, she handed them to her sheepishly. Right above all the papers were multiple tickets, each for flights to totally different places in the world. She chuckled sheepishly. "Since we turned 18 and you've been stressed I thought a few trips would make you feel better.. I was thinking about Paris first?"

  • Trinity blinks in astonishment.
"Seriously? You have one to Greece or Scotland?"
Trinity was born in Greece originally and had always wanted to see it and wanted to see Scotland, both dreams of hers. In a family of blonde haired blue eyed people Trinity had dark chocolate brown hair and warmer coffee colored eyes, her skin sporting a permanent tan that no one in school ever managed to get no matter how long they tried. Trinity had that effortless fitness and Greek Goddess looks, many having called her such in school often enough.

  • [color=powderblue][center] wesley gave a small nod with a sheepish grin. "Both. I know you've been wanting to go those places the most so i got those tickets, plus a few more." she explained, hoping that her amazement would turn into joy. it wasn't the money that gave her issues it was simply the fact that she tried hard to get places for them to stay for each visit, especially when they were so close together.

  • "Are you sure it won't get in the way of anything you need to do?"
Trinity was happy, but it was tempered by the reality of what would happen when she returned home. The young woman leans on the wall.
"I've always wanted to go to all these places Wess... but my relationship with Brian and Jil is already so strained, vanishing like this would only make things worse than they already are... I'm not sure..."

  • [color=powderblue][center]"oh.. i don't want them to be mad with you so i'll just call and cancel the hotels if that's what you want." she offered, heart dropping for a moment. "if you want i could even buy another ticket and you three can go." she added, though she really hated the idea. she was already constantly in trouble around the town so being without her friend for so long would be difficult. she glanced down, shuffling her feet awkwardly.

  • Trinity hugs Wesley tightly. Wesley may not have been a very touchy person but for Trinity it was her only effective way to communicate with others.
"I'm sorry, don't do that... Just let me get some things sorted out and I'll go with you. I still need to ask for those days off of work and get something organized with my teachers."
Trinity also held her own job as a crafts woman doing leather working and went to collage.

  • [color=powderblue][center]"yeah, whatever." She grumbled softly, only sitting there as the girl hugged her. After a minute she pulled away, turning and heading down the stairs. "I'll be downstairs watching tv if you need me." She told her before she finally reached the couch. She sat down on it, sighing sharply as she flickered through the channels.

  • Trinity pops up from behind the couch and plops down on top of Wesley without warning. She shifts until her head rests on her friends legs and get own feet on bathe back of the couch.
"Cheer up Wess. I'll go with you, I just need to get some things organized so I don't get in too much trouble coming back."
She reaches up to boop Wesley's nose and watches the TV upside down.

  • [color=powderblue][center]"I know but not long ago you would leave in a heart beat. I don't like how you care so much. You've changed a lot." She pointed out with a sharp sigh, rolling her eyes at her friend's like. "Plus you're legal now! Who gives a crap what everyone says?!"

  • Trinity sobers a bit, silent for a while.
"Wesley, I don't have the kind of money you do, I still need to get and hold a job and go to collage. I need to be concerned for my future Wesley, I can't live with you supporting me all the time."
Trinity was a very independent person, which made her explanation make sense. She was the kind of person to purposefully take the harder path just to prove she could. She always tried to do things on her own before asking for help.
"Yeah... Imagine Brian's face if he found out his fears of me losing my virginity in the bed of a truck were all too true."
    She laughs and pokes Wesley.
"Just give me a week to organize."
