    Adrian stood there. He thought that staying silent the rest of the time would be the best thing to do. Nate was right in this instance. They were a team and needed to act like it. Even if there were some that he wasn't really found of. That was the whole point of team work, right?


    He listened to Doctor Strange's offer. He shook his head. "No, I wound rather fight the holograms. I don't think we are ready to fight you yet" he spoke. The thought of fighting Strange scared him a bit. They would really need to work as team which was something they didn't have down.


    (On mobile and rushed)

    Nathaniel was glad to see that the argument had seemed to extinguish itself. He let out a sigh of relief but he could clearly see that Adrian was still a little bit annoyed by the whole situation. Nate really tried to get himself to think that they could all be friends in the end but being the pessimist that he was he really couldn't. All he could really think about was the many different ways that they'd be at each others throats. He couldn't exactly see them working the best in a team and that wasn't exactly the best thing. Nate silently stood there as his mind went over the hundreds of ways that they could all be trying to stab each other. A beautiful thing, really.


    Right now, Nate was actually wanting to take all of this behind them and get going. He clearly wasn't showing it but he was raring to go and beat up some fake enemies. Sometimes he wished he could actually go up against an actual opponent instead of all these training dummies and weak thieves and robbers. However, he also didn't want to because if he was ever faced against an actual incredibly strong opponent, he'd be dead within minutes of the fight starting. As he waited he took up his arms and formed shields that were seemingly attached to both limbs. Nathaniel then took a look over at Lukas who was seemingly stating some problems that he had. He truly did feel bad for the kid.

    Nathaniel Vance 'Nate' Strange

    Stephen was glad to see that they didn't want to take up the opportunity to try and go against him. He took Adrian's answer to mind and gave him a small nod before returning his attention back towards the others. They had all seemingly calmed down but there was still some tension in the air. It was quite clear that there was and it probably wasn't going to go away any time soon. As he watched Lukas both apologize and state the problem that he had he took a quick glance at Jaye who was still a bit on edge about everything. With a simple shake of his head he tried to let it go. The kid just needed to cool off a bit. Strange knew that Jaye would calm down in a few and he was going to try and let him do just that. There was no use in arguing anymore because it would really just make the whole entire situation even worse. Now, back onto Lukas's problem. Stephen walked up to younger and shorter male.


    "No no, it's okay and uh, I don't actually really have an exact plan and this is gonna sound stupid. Until I think of something you're either gonna have to deal with the background noise or keep the ones you have on and find out a way to communicate." He then let his gaze set upon Nathaniel. "Maybe Nathaniel could create symbols for you to see?" Oh, now he probably really seemed like the bad guy saying this to Lukas but he truly didn't have an idea, well, not yet of course.

    Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange

    Lukas's shoulders sagged. The only idea that made him perk up was the one Dr. Strange had about Nathaniel. He turned to the aforementioned teen and quickly signed to him. "Would you?" He inquired. He had no idea how it would work but it was better then being distracted in battle. He just hoped the other teen would say yes

    Nate's head turned towards the two when he heard his name be mentioned. The shields that he had formed on both his arms flickered and sparked, letting sparks fly off of them and onto the ground. Nathaniel gave a slight tilt of his head at the idea that was brought up. He wasn't exactly too sure how well it could work but he knew that he could somehow do it. Nathan couldn't exactly actually form full on arrows to point at things but he could kind of form semi-arrows. Well, 'semi' as in it sometimes didn't work. That didn't matter to him, however. If he had to help then he would try his best to help.


    With a smile Nathaniel nodded his head. "I'll try my best." As he happily answered Lukas, Nate looked over the group. Alright, they all seemed okay now. However, he wouldn't be completely sure until they actually start fighting these fake enemies. He watched as some flickered back and forth from hologram to solid form. Man, to think that all this money was spent on all of them but they couldn't at least make the training exercises a bit more difficult?

    Nathaniel Vance 'Nate' Strange

    Strange was glad to see that they had that problem at least a bit sorted out. Now, all they had to do next was finish the whole exercise so that he could let them go and he was pretty sure that they would all be glad to leave. Stephen headed over back towards his original spot and silently stood there as his cloak reattached itself to him. As it did he looked over the group again. They all seemed alright now and hopefully they could put their little argument in the past. He really did hope that they could because he couldn't imagine what would happen if they started arguing during an actual fight.


    "Alright, are we all okay now? Like I said, you'll have to work together to take down at least some of the targets. Now, if you do it quick enough I'll let you out early and I'm pretty sure we'll all appreciate that." Stephen made his way towards the side of the line in a position where it allowed him to be able to watch them. Well, that is if they actually chose to cooperate this time and actually fight. "So, are you guys ready?"

    Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange

    Lukas could just tell that Nathaniel was uneasy with the idea. "Just do a quick rune flash or something if I need to shoot, it doesn't need to be fancy just a visible cue." He suggested because he imagined magic took focus, and to do something as complex probably took a lot of it, but Lukas figured a small flash or outline wouldn't take that much time, energy or focus.

    Rae had listened carefully and thought for a moment as she analyzed the dummies. Maybe she worked well with others... at times, then other times she really didn't want to. But she was sure if they could do this quickly and effectively maybe Strange would actually let them leave early and it wasn't just a tactic to get them to work together. "Yup, ready as I'll ever be." She said as she got herself ready to fight fight the dummies.


    Everyone else seemed to have weapons, which she thought was slightly unfair and a disadvantage on her part but she figured it would prove that she was valuable to the team. She knew boxing and martial arts, so she wasn't far off, she figured she could use that to attack with. Couldn't be hard.


    Her mind drifted to being shocked and her eyes went to the ones higher up, someone would have to shoot those. She knew that much, and others would have to keep to the ground. She nudged Lukas and pointed to the ones up top, "Aim for those and I'll cover you from the ones on the floor." She said, fifuring maybe making an effort to not be a brat would be better.

    Adrian let out nod, "I'm ready" he said, his voice dragging a bit. He tried not to make it sound like he was speaking for the whole group as he did before hand. He knew that he couldn't speak for everyone, nor did he want to. He gave a small grin, he was actually excited for this. He hardly got to test this suit out and was dying to see more of what it could do. He formed both of his hands into tight fists. He never really got this excited about anything. Maybe it was like the same kinda thing when a kid wants to test out a new toy, but in this case, Adrian was the kid and his suit was the toy.


    He looked at the line up of holograms a head of him. As expected, somewhere sky-bound and others were earth-bound. He wondered if they would switch between the positions. At this point he had nothing to combat these things, or at least a strategy to fight them as a team. He still felt like he needed more time to see what they all could truly bring to the table. Right now, he has vague idea off what they all can do.

    Nathaniel looked over at Lukas and nodded. He could do that but he also had the problem of figuring out what to go against first. His eyes quickly scanned over the room. It was quite clear that he couldn't get the ones up top but he knew that the ones with ranged weapons could. His attention turned over towards Rae who had a pretty good idea on how to get those on top. Nathaniel eyed some enemies that stood off to the side. He could definitely take those ones on. Nate had started to forget that he had actually conjured up shields and one of them strongly flickered which sent sparks onto him. It soon died out and Nathan quietly swore to himself. The other shield died out as well and he gave an annoyed sigh.


    That was also one of the things on his long list of things to work on. If he lost his focus on a spell it would start to vanish. He had quite a problem with losing focus when trying to perform a spell and sometimes it happened in the middle of him conjuring up once. While trying to form a symbol in the air he had lost focus right in the middle of forming it and it had sent sparks flying all over him. Once again, Nathaniel brought up his arms to form shields over them and finally spoke, "I can get the ones on the sides or give you guys more cover." He wasn't exactly too confident in himself because the last time he had fought anything or anybody he had lost, countless amounts of times.

    Good, everybody seemed to be ready enough. Strange looked out at the scene ahead of them and he hoped that they could get through this. It didn't matter if there was little teamwork. All that mattered was that they were able to get in some teamwork in there somewhere. Stephen crossed his arms and looked over at the group to see that some of them were communicating with each other. That was clearly a good sign. Actually, no, that a was a great sign and he was glad that this was seemingly going to work out.


    "Alright, you can start whenever you're ready." Just to honestly think the amount of work and effort that was probably put into this one room and this one room only. The technology was insane but it would probably get even more advanced as the time went on. The difficulty of each fight would start to get higher and higher and he wasn't so sure of it but he knew that one day they would all probably have to go against him.

    Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange

    Rae looked to Nate and nodded, okay, maybe being a brat wasn't the smartest. But hey her large personality had to make up for her tiny size. The 5'3" she stood at, wasn't very large and often meant she got picked on. The blonde looked to the dummies and deciding not to wait any longer she jumped in.


    The blonde managed to dodge one blow from a shot from uptop, but felt a sharp zap in her other shoulder as the dummy on the ground struck. She let of a noise of surprise and slight pain at the shock. And pronptly swiped for the dummy's legs, effectively knocking it down before taking on the next, dodging left and right, getting a jab and a sharp upper cut in before moving her hands back to her defensive stance. She had her height on her size, standing only to the shoulder of the dummies, but it also made it harder as their large movements she had anticipate.

    Okay I know this is an old thread but I stumbled upon it and I kinda wanna either continue or do an rp with someone from the thread with our characters from here in another thread

    sorry sorry but i do have this idea for a plot (it still does involve super hero like characters but they're our own characters) I can PM/DM the plot if you'd like
