THE CRIMINAL IN ME — chicagocrimes — sanctuary leader — lion — she/her

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]the black heart rogues seem to like picking on the sanctuary, and although things have been notably quieter than usual, chica still feels it's necessary to pick up the slack. if there's to be an attack, she wants everyone to be able to take care of themself. those little rugged training dummies of hers make another appearance, covered in old snow and stiff with the cold, "self defense classes are over here, if anybody's interested."

    'CAUSE ALL THAT IT TAKES
    IS A LITTLE REINVENTION

Even with a broken leg Des knew he should probably learn to fight. The mock raid with Westeros had shown him that. The bengal hobbled over, grey-blue eyes focusing on Chicago as he did so. He used his scarf as sort of a sling now, to keep his paw off the ground. It was working, so far.

"Self defense is necessary, so I'll learn some!" Des exclaimed, coming to a halt once he got close enough. His breath came out in light gasps; walking on three paws was hard work, but he was still eager to learn.

  • -- Rags --

A cold hard truth that Rags had to put up with was that she sucked at fighting. She sucked big time. Going to the mock raid had been more of a test to see whether she'd go up against somebody far better than her willingly, and that was after she had spent time training with some NPC's from her own clan. By training, of course, she meant getting thrown around into the dirt for a couple of hours whilst failing to do anything useful. So yeah, maybe a self defense course would do her some good. Moving up next to Des, the black fox gave Chica a weak grin as a way of saying both 'hello' and 'please be gentle'.
