  • [fancypost=background: transparent; width: 500px; font-size: 14px; font-family: microsoft tai le; text-align: justify;]While Margaret was not fond of having to look up at the cyborg, considering she definitely did not stand at anywhere near his height, she would not be intimidated of anyone who could not further her position here at the facility. "Ah, someone seems to have woken up on the wrong side of the cage today. Follow me." She began walking out of the small room, looking back occasionally to see if Blue had followed. She led him into one of the labs and patted a chair for him to sit down. She could not wait to tear into—I mean—check on how his extremities seemed to be functioning. Margaret flicked on a large overhead light pointed at the chair.

Mikos did as he was told, and quickly. He never appreciated the heavy black sheet and ties that prevented him from moving, but he did not want to be punished, and did not protest. He let him examine him as he wished. He was relieved when he could finally leave. He could never say that he hated anyone; not even the scientists that plagued him on a daily basis. But Dr. Holloway unnerved him and made his stomach turn. He hopped off the table and scurried out of the room, heading for the cafeteria. He had always eaten alone, and today was no exception. After sheepishly getting his food, he sat and ate quietly with his head down.

  • ISAAC
Isaac didn’t need to tug at the leash as he already knew Pestilence eagerly followed behind him. He decided to stop by the cafeteria and see if the bald man was within it. As he made his way, he could hear the clatter of others and see a female scientist dive into the cafeteria eagerly, but he could care less about the whims of others. Just as he was going to pass it, he noticed the man talking with the older scientist. Isaac swiftly made his way towards the two, not exactly moving around others in a polite manner, if you were in his way he just simply moved you out of it. Once he reached Charles side, he stopped and shoved the manila form at him. “You, here’s some things you need to look at for the experiment assigned to you. Don’t lose it.” He informed him in a commanding manner, his red eyes never looking away from his before he swiftly turned and exited the cafeteria, heading to his lab with Pestilence not too far behind.

    GERALD
Gerald immediately removed his hands from the man, not as a gesture of kindness but instead he wiped his hands on his pants before putting his hand to his chin. “Why, it’s not that I actually trust you! I wouldn’t trust you with a can of paint, but the person I truly trust would never go along with my whims!” Gerald answered enthusiastically at first but as he mentioned this person, it was a bit crestfallen. Raiden would never listen to him as he flew into his rants about the young scientist taking away his child! Nor would the man ever help him in getting the man away from him! “Yes, yes! For him to think that my precious child would marry the likes of him, why he’s screwed more attractive man than him!” Gerald yelled, though it wasn’t anything to be proud of. “My plans you ask? Why that shall be a surprise! Even though I would love to wrap my hands around the boy and strangle him-” Gerald was interrupted as he noticed Arima, but more specifically Milo, enter the cafeteria. “Why speak of the devil!” He grumbled before his phone vibrated. He pulled the phone out from the confines of his pocket and his face immediately brightened as he saw it was from his dear son! With the eagerness of a child, he plopped back down and set out to send his son a message, though Loki’s message was in fact small. Things will definitely pick up eventually! You’ll learn to love it, I’m sure!

    LOKI
Loki instinctively lifted his phone and placed the phone back into his confines once Riley made her way over. “None of your business, go back to your breakfast!” He grumbled as he pushed her away a bit. “If you don’t finish your parfait, I’ll do it for you.” He threatened as he continued eating. He wondered how long he would have to spend with the girl before he would have to be the one to drag her down to the basement. He hoped he didn’t have to be the one, not that he felt bad for the girl enough to be affected by it, it was just too much of a hassle dragging someone once they realized where they were going. Besides, dragging patients wasn’t a part of his job description, last he checked. Though, if anything, the scientist to drag her away would be the one who won the pickings over her. He wondered who that would be. He didn’t recall any of them exactly being the gentle kind if the victim began to struggle. But once the girl was out of his hair, he would be free to do anything else, including lazing about.

    PESTILENCE
Pestilence watched as Isaac talked to the lowly experiment who it did not know. The experiment never made contact with them and looked to be a frail boy but he was being let out. They followed Isaac, keeping pace with him eagerly as he traveled even though they knew what was going to happen. Elliot never liked getting experimented on but the worse had already happened, so what was there to dread now? But, in truth, there was one thing. That thing that was the most painful and left him screaming to the top of his lungs is if Isaac wanted to examine Lilith herself. If that was required, that would mean the spider would have to leave its forced placement at his heart. He would have to feel it pull itself from the organ as incredible pain shot through his system. Despite his thoughts, his expression didn’t change as they entered the cafeteria once more. Pestilence wondered what brought them there but figured it was a matter of business. With a dead stare, somehow it beamed with adoration towards the man that held its leash. It watched as Isaac forced his demands onto some strange bald guy. Personally, Lilith thought he needed a wig, but would the wig make him look funnier?

  • Charles
Charles' eyes were roaming when Issac entered the cafeteria, so when he spotted than man walking towards him his mind went from Geralnd to work, he more than eagerly accepted the folder "Don't lose it? Absurd, that's like you telling an experiment they're free to go, never gonna happen," Charles said back to the man, that was another thing Charles liked about working here, Issac was a commanding, if not imposing figure, Charles looked up to such people, and followed them with respect, he wasn't sure but he thought he might of been one of the only people that wasn't fearful of the man in some shape or form. "Gerald as much as I would love to stay and chat I got some new information to look at, and I am still quite hungry, feel free to seek me out for your wonderful plan though, albeit at a later time." Charles strolled off, quickly obtaining his food and eating it with outstanding speed, the entire meal was gone in a flash. He did this mostly out of habit though. "What new light shall be shone on me today?"

    Lucas
Lucas finally noticed his cell had been unlocked, "when did? ...." he decided not to question it and went to breakfast, he wasn't so dumb as to wander around the facility pointlessly, he was well aware of the pecking order, and where he stood in it, and he wasn't going to disturb it and make his life worse, he muted the noise as he entered the cafeteria, quieting it down for himself, he wasn't to found of the sound of talking and the general go around of the cafeteria.

  • Lucinda watched as Issac entered the room and a smile danced across her face. Ah, the man responsible for this hole in the wall, she thought amusedly. He walked over to her scientist and the bald one before dropping a package off. Her head tilted in curiosity but she didn't bother to get up. Instead, her eyes tracked his movements as he brought the experiments following him out of the cafeteria. She had only seen him a handful of times but he still put her on edge. It was rare for a person to actually cause her to worry for her well being. Still, the man fascinated her for creating such a place like this. Oh well, not that it mattered, she would claim his throne.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color: transparent; width: 400px; border: 1px; border color: transparent][align=justify][font=georgia]Blue chose not to respond to Dr. Wu's quip and decided as well to remain silent as he followed the scientist. His eyes remained trained forward, the same glare from moments earlier unwavering. Even through the boots on his feet, an audible sound could be heard every time he took a step. Blue reluctantly took a seat in the lab Dr. Wu led him to, crossing one mechanical leg on top of the other and folding his arms.

  • [center][fancypost=background: transparent; width: 500px; font-size: 14px; font-family: microsoft tai le; text-align: justify;]"Okay now," Margaret said as she turned the blinding light on him. "How are your extremities functioning? Any movement problems?" She personally didn't care too much about how he fared moving them, but was more interested in how well they functioned objectively. Cybernetic limbs were still just in use for those who have lost their arms or legs or whatever, and it was still quite new by scientific standards to enhance strength or skill using these. She pondered flipping him over and checking their connections to his spinal cord.

  • Lucas
Lucas sat down with his food, and ate quietly, finding no real reason to make himself noticed, he was also cautious of others, but more so of scientists, he figured most, though clearly not all experiments were, he did faintly wonder what would happen if he decided to make all sound in the area disappear for a little while, it would probably be funny right up until he got punished for it, he shook his head, maybe another day when the time was right, he chuckled to himself. Time. As far as he was concerned it didn't exist, it was something almost everyone followed, but he couldn't grasp, it was frustrating at times, especially when he was working with music, he was a good musician, but with no sense of timing he had to work at pieces far longer than anyone else would, at least a metronome helped, but it wasn't like he had one any more.

  • Milo laughed lightly at the exchange between Sparkjaws and Arima, finding the pair amusing to watch. "Now, now! Patience is a virtue," Milo said with a smile, before quickly putting on the protective gear and leaving the basement with the creature. Halfway to the cafeteria his phone vibrated, causing him to stop. He wondered who could possibly be texting him, but his eyes lit up when he read Loki's name at the top of the notification. He read the message and was quick to reply. Of course I do! :) he wrote before seamlessly slipping the phone back into his pocket and heading into the cafeteria. He spotted Gerald from the corner of his eyes and offered him a wave, though he could feel the hostility rolling off the older man. He wanted to snicker, but kept it to himself. "We've maaaadee it!" he announced happily to Sparkjaw.

  • ISAAC
Isaac didn’t reply to the comment Charles had made as he had already swiftly exited the area. Though, it seemed as if he didn’t hear it, he did, he just saw no reason to acknowledge it. But as long as the man didn’t lose the document containing necessary information on Mikos, he was fine. He took Pestilence into his own personal lab that he liked to use. There were multiple lab rooms scattered about and this one was particularly his favorite. Pestilence eagerly followed behind as Lilith absolutely adored him. He didn’t care for adoration but it made his life easier as she obediently followed him perfectly. There were many things that Isaac wanted to do, wanted to remove, and wanted to experiment with. He’d have to plan them all out accordingly. He wanted to remove some more minor regions of his brain but that would require a lot of time and he knew that he had to get those new subjects settle in the hands of a scientist. He decided that instead, he would investigate Lilith’s offspring. He knew that she would sometimes hide her nests and he worked to stop it, often killing any nest he found if she did so without permission. But, since he had told her to stop unless told too, she has. “Lilith today is a special day for you. You can produce a lovely egg sack in this container.”

    GERALD
Gerald was too absorbed into his phone to notice the farewell that Charles had gave as he left. He hoped Loki would respond again as that had effectively brightened his day. But as much as he would love to just sit there and wait, he had things to take care of. He slid the phone back into his large pocket and headed over to the table where his experiments were eating. He looked to see that the girls had finished but Hikari was a different story. The boy was still eating, slow as molasses. “Well, this is a predicament. Looks like I have all the time to wait!” Gerald chimed as he sat down across from them. “Ah, if there’s anyone else in here you want to talk to, feel free to go and chat them up!” Gerald offered the girls as he thought they wouldn’t enjoy the company of a gentleman like him. He had even forgot about Milo, who had entered the cafeteria before, but as of current he wasn’t paying attention.

    PESTILENCE
Lilith was excited, Elliot could tell, but he himself was afraid for what he knew was coming. Lilith never laid her eggs in the place she occupied, his heart. There was always the possibility if she laid them there, they would devour him. Instead, Lilith would remove herself from him in order to lay the batch. Whenever she removed herself, the pain was so indescribable, yet it shot through all his nerves, hitting his body all at once with a forceful impact. He began to grit his teeth as he knew it was coming, just not sure when. It didn’t take long for Lilith to begin to rise from the confines of his chest, the pull at the flesh of his heart and skin that would often time mend around the parasite began to pain him. As hard as Elliot tried, gritting his teeth didn’t work, muffled squeals of pain began to leak from his mouth as his breathing hastened. His body began to sweat uncontrollably as his nerves were set aflame. It wasn’t long before the tearing of the flesh caused him to let out an inhumane screech. It was blood curdling and loud, it could probably be heard in the basement and near the patient lounge. He was never sure how loud he screamed but his lungs burned as he continued the pained cry. Isaac, often had to strap him down to the table, which he had begun to once Elliot began to struggle, his hands wanting to claw at Lilith as she removed herself from his chest. His eyes burned and were soon filled with the salty liquid called tears. They uncontrollably ran down his cheeks as he gasped, grimaced, and shrieked in pain.

  • Izzy was too busy talking to Hikari to give what Gerald said too much thought. Lucinda, on the other hand, turned to him and smiled. "We appreciate the offer but I actually wanted to talk to you", she said as she set her plates aside. "I was wondering if you could tell me what you have planned for us today? I just like to know how things are going to go so I can plan in advance. Although, if there is ever anything else I can do for you doctor then please let me know", she said with a look of innocence. It looked natural on her face but Isabella's body stiffened as Lucinda continued to talk. She only glanced slightly at the doctor and her sister before turning back to look at Hikari. Lucinda put a comforting hand on her sister's shoulder, "Don't be upset Izzy! The doctor is just doing his best to make a living after all", she soothed.

Izzy turned back and nodded her head, "Right. Sorry doctor", she apologized before turning to look back at her plate. She forced her body to relax before turning back to her sister. "I do think, however, the doctor won't need our help", she voiced. Lucinda's hand tightened on her shoulders and she glanced back at her lap, "But if you need us doctor then we'll be there", she muttered. Her sister had never done too much to harm her but she wasn't going to take the chance after seeing what had happened at the orphanage. She could never outright go against her sister but she found her own way to undercut her sister's decisions.

Stella was getting ready to restate her question when she saw Dr. Isaac walk by. She eyed Arima and contemplated just sitting there while he talked. The idea was tempting but Dr.Isaac had experiments in tow. The one with the spider caught her attention and she smiled. The spider was not ideal but the guy attached to it had an interesting physique. One she would have liked to made into a super soldier if given the chance. Not that it mattered now. He was, after all, Isaac's experiment. "Oh Dr.Isaac", she called out before hurrying out after him.

She had lost him for a minute but soon found him again and smiled down at the plastic skull. "Well they say curiosity kills the cat", she said as she stopped a few feet of the door way. She respected the man who created the institution but he was her boss after all. "I hope I don't get scolded", she sighed to the skull before skipping into the lab with a smile on her face. "Hello Dr.Isaac", she said before taking a seat in one of the lab assistant chairs in the corner of the room. "I hope you don't mind but I wanted to watch your experiment", she said before continuing on with no wait for an answer, "You have a good eye for experiments. I would have picked him as well. Even now, overlooking the spider of course, I'd like to cut into him. Oh well, doesn't matter now I suppose", she said with a shrug. The skull that she had been carrying was sitting balanced on the counter closest to her and staring at everyone else in the room.

  • occ: @alpha wafflefry Probably, Sparkjaws is literally a brat. Well, a venomous, toxic, flame and electrical sparking brat, but a brat.

Arima's head slowly turned back behind him after having finally made it to the cafeteria to find a peppy Stella following. Milo was evidently passing along with Sparkjaws as well, Gerald busy with Charles. Arima figured he needed to respond to the woman, he wasn't exactly rude and small chat was small chat, " I'm fine, thank you. Yourself?" Her second questions was interesting given he didn't think it was necessary. there were tons of experiments here, sometimes too many for everyone to keep up with. But having taken too long to respond it seemed, the woman had moved on to the Head Doctor, so he left it at that and motioned Nathan to one of the tables of the cafeteria. "Now Nathan, i personally don't care whom you fraternize with, but I'd recommend you do not develop the tongue Sparks has."

Sparks stretched wildly. tails not exactly kept in check and slapping a few papers off their walls and any other decor if it were around. but he paid no mind to the slight of destruction nd was about to race off to one of the cafeteria tables, but halted immediately with a suspicious pout," uhm, aren't you going to take this thing off of me" He questioned as a creaturesque hand grabbed the lead leash that Milo held and connected to his lead lined collar.

Hikari blinked with freezing fear for a few moments at the girl's words. She was speaking to him!? He shivered but in a very soft, shaky voice admitted," I'm scared that I'm going to choke on my food."

-sorry for shit post, but I have limited time-

  • Charles

Charles read through the file Dr. Issac had given him, "Mikos, spider person, Ah! The anxious one. Is he?" Charles gazed around the cafeteria from his seat, his eyes fell on Mikos as he located the boy quietly eating his food. "So he is, seems that makes my job easier then." The large man stood and made his way over to Mikos, "hello hello, mind if I join you little spider?" Charles sat across from the boy, not waiting for answer "I just stopped by to let you know that from this day forward you are assigned to me as my experiment, I do hope this will turn out to be a good opportunity to learn many new things, for both of us actually." Charles said with a smile, currently the man seemed to be in quite a good mood.

    Lucas
Lucas examined all of the present experiments, every now and then focusing and one so he could hear them clearly, it didn't matter how far away they were, it was all to easy to carry the sound of their words to him, he had decided he did not trust Lucinda thus far, her words felt weighted, and calculating to him. He could tell Hikari was just scared of everything. He did have any read of Mikos, as he had been totally silent thus far, he found Riley somewhat interesting for her peppiness, but he couldn't help but feel that would go away after whatever they did to her, now he was focusing on Nathaniel, seeing what information he could learn about him.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color: transparent; width: 400px; border: 1px; border color: transparent][align=justify][font=georgia]// oh shite i didnt see your post! sorry @eritasum

The cold blue gaze that had previously been staring directly forward was now averted to the left as the blinding light shined directly into Blue's own face. He squinted, and the left corner of his lips pulled up as if snarling. He was obviously not too keen on the light being there, and the same could be said for the scientist who was now questioning the cyborg. "Everything is fine," he spoke, a sort of low growl finding its way into his low tone. However, despite that, he did expect that his testimony wouldn't be enough and it was likely that he'd be torn open once more for a "check-up". He sincerely hoped that he wouldn't have to do such a thing; the poking and prodding of his extremities was driving him toward anger, and he didn't think an internal check-up would be any better.

  • @Ashen One
Riley's in a different cafeteria (the more public one for staff and regular visitors or patients I guess) with Loki. ^^ Unless Lucas can hear them from there, if that's what you're implying?

Riley simply laughed, letting Loki scramble to put his phone away without interfering. She wasn't that mean. She didn't mind when he pushed her either; actually she was too amused to really notice. And when you grow up switching houses/families often, getting pushed around by people is common practice.
Finding a seat again, Riley contemplated finishing her parfait as slowly as possible, just in spite of Loki's attitude. "Nope, I want it," She assured him, lifting a fork-full of sugary strawberry to her mouth. "You were right, the food here is pretty sweet. The people are just a little salty, unfortunately," Riley smirked, still curious about who he could've been texting but letting it drop. "I'm ready for whatever whenever you are," She declared, neatly tossing her trash away once she'd finished eating. The girl entertained herself by balancing a leftover strawberry on a plastic fork top, and threatening to catapult it onto Loki's clean clothes.
    -----
Nathaniel acknowledged Arima with a faint nod, though it wasn't very convincing. Despite being quiet himself, he often found new and even loud things of interest. The tall semi-cyborg shuffled forward, his posture more relaxed now from being around other experiments. Unbeknownst to onlookers, Nathaniel's sensors systematically scanned his surroundings, noting everyone's location.
When Nathan caught Lucas watching him, he returned the look with nonexistent eyes. You couldn't read his expression well but he was indeed curious about how Lucas had been similarly surveying others.
Nathaniel settled for standing beside a table; he couldn't eat here anyway, so why bother taking up space? Instead he maintained discretely observing what Lucas and Sparkjaw did.

  • Ooc- Ah are they? While technically he could potentially do so, he wouldn't because he doesn't even know she exists right now, and he's more focused on the area he's in, I just assumed, because I'm good at assuming things, and missing details like that, feel free to ignore that part.

    Lucas
Lucas' eye widened slightly as Nathaniel turned to him. "Observant. No, something more than that, modified senses?" Lucas mumbled this to himself, he had only recently, well he thought it was recently, but he truly had no clue, started to learn things about the others stuck in here with him, sure he had a decent grasp on a few, but keeping yourself in a soundless bubble tended to make any information you'd learn through normal listening not learn-able. He noted the helmet and all of the wires, they had really gone crazy with this one. Lucas ultimately decided to try not and agitate him, he seemed particularly strong in his mind, and likely couldn't speak very well, if at all with the helmet, which besides looking at them, hearing what they said was the only way Lucas could learn things, so he shift his attention to Sparkjaw, they were directly collared all the way here, so Lucas already had the feeling they might be a problematic one, but he wasn't really sure. Lucas did glance at Nathaniel every now and then, he could feel his, eyes? Sensors? Something. Lucas could tell Nathaniel was observing him with something, and he wasn't sure what to make of it.

  • ooc: yeah they're in the normal cafeteria! But hey, you can throw Riley a party when she joins the experiments! (/*0*)/

    ISAAC
Isaac barely noticed the woman calling for him as he strapped Elliot down so that he wouldn’t damage the parasitic spider. The screams that came from the man also made it hard to hear but when he did, he frowned. “Dr. Holloway.” He corrected the woman, he wasn’t sure when she got there or when she followed him. He could barely remember her name but he recognized the weird plastic skull she kept around her. He could never understand why she kept the toy at her side but he didn’t really care to find out. What irritated him the most was why she was here, he eyed the woman with his piercing red eyes as she spoke. “I don’t care; just don’t get in the way of anything.” He answered as he extended the hand towards the large black widow that was Lilith. She had finally finished removing herself, leaving a hollow hole at the center of Elliot’s chest. You could see visceral flesh from within it and mostly his heart. It was fascinating how the human body tried to mend at the hole, to protect and shield the organ but it failed. Lilith crawled into his palm and he gently lifted her up as he held her. “What exactly do you see in him?” Isaac asked as he placed Lilith in the container that would hold the egg sack. He didn’t need to close the lid as he knew Lilith would never try to escape from him.

    GERALD
“Hm? Well that’s quite unexpected.” Gerald said as Lucinda caught his attention, is brown eyes glazed over her as he studied her for probably the first time. He never bothered really learning about her nor her personality but he had nothing to do and it was quite odd that she would suggest such a thing. “Why, you’ll become a lovely vixen as you age!” Gerald chimed in a jovial tone but whether it was a compliment or not was hard to discern. There was some motive she had behind her but he couldn’t tell what. “What is there to plan in advance for? Are you going to brace yourself or try to outwit me if there are questions I should ask you?” He asked with a thoughtful expression, but on the inside he tried to remember what he had planned for them. The twins had a single flaw in their immortality and it was simply the fact that they couldn’t be separate from each other but only a few distances.

He had to figure out what exactly caused that as no one would want to be bonded to a random person! Well, if they were lovers than there might be a few but lovers divorce or break up inevitably. Divorce. A grimace came over the man as he had settled on the word, remembering his wife as she had wanted a divorce. He pushed the thoughts away as he continued his thinking. What could he do to figure out this puzzle? He would need to examine them, take DNA, blood samples, lots of samples. After he got the samples, he would need to see what exactly was reacting that was caused them to be inseparable. “Well, the only thing you can help me with is compliance. I don’t have anything particularly painful planned today unless you’re afraid of needles.” He then turned to Hikari who had spoken, “Is that why you are eating as slow as a snail?” He asked, slightly irritated.

    LOKI
“Hm~.” Loki pursed his lips briefly as he continued eating, his phone buzzed again, twice actually. He knew one was from his father and the other from his boyfriend. He longed to be doing other things but this job. It wasn’t long before he finished the food and was more than satisfied with breakfast. He gathered his trash and tossed it away as he placed his hands in his pocket. “You’re not exactly sweet yourself, honey.” Loki retorted playfully before walking away from the table, he only paused to make sure that Riley was going to follow him. He just had to ask her the casual questions and then he wouldn’t have to do anything else. Once the scientist finished whatever the hell they were doing, than they would take her off of his hands. He led the girl back to a room that looked like the ones you’d see at a doctor’s office. He picked up a clipboard that held questions in it before sitting himself down and crossing one leg over the other. A yawn escaped his mouth as he waited for her to sit down.

    PESTILENCE
Elliot rasped for breath after Lilith had finally left the place at his heart. He refrained from looking down at the horrendous hole that was always there after she did such things. Sweat trickled over his pale body as he laid his head to the side. It was then that his blurred eyes noticed a female, was she always there? He thought he was hallucinating though he didn’t see why he would hallucinate a woman like her. She didn’t…exactly look his type, even if he had one. When it came to love, he wasn’t sure what he wanted. He had never gotten the chance to delve into such things, actually. He had always been by himself in that orphanage so he was never able to bond with others. It took him a while to hear what they were talking about as the pain had muffled his hearing, it had something to do with him…

  • Lucinda blinked before letting a smile brighten her features, "Thank you doctor but you flatter me too much", she replied. She had decided it best to take it as a compliment though she knew the words most likely were a double edged sword. At his questions she merely shook her head, "Not at all. I just like knowing what the plans for my day are." She saw the wheels turning and tilted her head, Had he forgotten his plans? Just as she was getting ready to ask, he spoke up once more which made her sit quietly. "Right, of course. We will do our best", she smiled at his request for compliance out of them. She was going to continue being a picture of innocence for the time being. There might be a slight flash here or there of the real monster inside but, for now, she would carry on with an innocent mask.

Isabella glanced at Hikari as the doctor scolded him. "I'll be here to help you. If you start to choke I can save you. It might be best for you to eat, however, so you don't get punished", she told him softly. She wearily glanced at the doctor before turning back to Hikari. "I'll be right here so just try. You never know, you might be able to get through it without choking", she smiled encouragingly. Her mind, meanwhile, was racing nervously at the doctors words. He made it sound like it wasn't going to be too intensive. Does that mean they are going to wait a little longer before making the experiment intense again, she wondered silently.

"Right, sorry Dr. Holloway", she apologized before standing up and going to look at the hole in his chest. It was such a shame that his body had been disfigured in the way that it had. There was a cruel beauty about it, something this place seemed to specialize in, but she couldn't help but think it would have been better if he had been bulked up into a super soldier. As it was now, he was little more than a bag of flesh on a skeleton. Not that the skeletal structure of human modification experiments didn't interest her. In fact, she would probably ask to study the next experiment that died to see what she could find out.

Not the time. You were asked a question. Focus, she scolded herself before turning back to look at Dr. Issac. "His eyes interested me but also his skeletal structure. I can see it from here and it's caught my interest. The cavity in his chest that you've created, while making a disappointing human structure, is a curious experiment development. If he dies then can I have some time to examine his skeleton? I'd like to make note of the changes between experiment's bodies and the average human's body."

She saw the skeleton in the jar and her nose crinkled in disgust. She wasn't afraid of spiders but she was not their biggest fan either. The fact that this one seemed to have more intelligence than the common house spider put her on edge. "So you're having the spider produce babies? What are you planning Dr.Holloway", she asked with a curious tilt of her head. She had gone to look closer but hesitated before coming to a stop. She wasn't sure of Dr.Holloway's personal bubble radius and didn't really want to intrude on his personal space.

Margaret, after wheeling over a cart of painful-looking instruments, began moving and examining Blue's arm to check for any rusting or movement problems. "Hmm...You'll probably need something to help your joints move better, or replacements." She checked the rest of his limbs and joints. "Alright, lay down there." Margaret moved the light over to a metal table, then began typing notes into her tablet as she waited for him.

Mikos picked at the food he was eating, not feeling very hungry. Because spiders seemed to only needed to eat every once in while, his appetite had become suppressed as a side effect of his experimentation. As a person quickly slid into a seat opposite to him, he flinched. No one usually paid him any attention, so someone sitting with him was a surprise. The scientist spoke a mile a minute it seemed, though Mikos couldn't recall him. A new scientist? Mikos hadn't even gotten a chance to get use to Dr. Holloway, let alone a new one already. He said nothing and looked down at his food mostly.

    // @Ashen One sorry I hadn't seen your post, I'm horrible ;-;

  • ISAAC
“His eyes? They were normal when I got him from the orphanage; they’re a symptom from being infected with the parasite I created.” Isaac remarked with a dull voice, though his eyes seemed to light up a little. “If.” The words left his mouth with a scoff that seemed to indicate his doubt in the statement or perhaps folly in the idea of her question? His red eyes peered at the form of Elliot that lay on the table, the head facing them but completely absent of expression. The only remnant of pain was the slight twinge his expression held; he wasn’t completely a doll yet. He stared at the form before turning to Lilith who was in preparation of making an egg sack. “I can ask the same of you. You must have some plans in mind for investigating me.” He redirected the question though his deep voice remained indifferent.

    GERALD
“Ah!” Gerald suddenly shouted with a sudden abundance of enthusiasm and nostalgia! “I just recalled something truly fascinating! How about I share a story with you lot and hopefully by the time the story is over, Slowpoke over here would be finished with breakfast that’s slowly turning into lunch!” He said with slight scolding towards Hikari. “Now, there were once two boys! Both were siblings with a close bond, different from you and Blackie as the relationship seems rather strained! They were as close as can be and inseparable! It was hard to imagine one without the other, like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! Though, they weren’t close in age! One was an older boy, I honestly forgot his age, and the youngest brother was nothing but a mere child when we captured them! They were one of my first tests at the hand of immortality and the result was different than yours, so different tests were needed! I experimented on the eldest, who was protective over the youngest and the little boy would cry and cry without his brother! How sad!"

"Well, by the end of experimentation, there was a fatal flaw in the success of immortality! Why his wounds wouldn’t heal! I would know because each day I would take him into a room where I would orchestrate various means of inflicting serious wounds. For instance, I would shoot him multiple times with a gun, stab him, bludgeon him, you name it!” The words rolled out of Gerald’s mouth with ease as if there was nothing wrong with it. “So, each time his wounds would increase but never heal. It gotten to the point of organ failure, but he was still alive. Even though I succeeded in creating immortality, it was still a failure. He had become nothing but a bloody mess in the cell with his brother. Blood was everywhere and he couldn’t move. Sadly, he managed to pass on… So! His brother was next in line at my hands! How joyous memories can be! Wouldn’t you agree?” Gerald claimed with a smile across his face, his eyes held a new shine to them as he had ended the tale rather abruptly.
