  • A soft smile returned to Alistair's face, as well as a blush. He only just realized how close they were. He would have moved back a bit, but he really didn't want to. He liked being this close to him, and rather enjoyed the smell he picked up from him. Coffee, but with a bit of something else that he couldn't quite identify. "Anytime you want" he answered "I would suggest now, but clubs aren't open during the day. Plus, you have to work. Would later tonight be possible? Or tomorrow maybe?"

"OH tonight!" the excitement just boomed and so did his voice. He took a small step back before adding a little "please." his pale skin tuned bright red from the embarrassment. Connie looked up and saw that Alistair was blushing as well. That kind of made him happy. He was about to say one more thing but the door to the back opened and his grandfather stepped through it. Connie immediately took a couple of steps back before he saw them. "Your back earlier then I thought." He said glance up at Alistair before making his way behind the counter to his grandfather.

  • Alistair was about to answer 'yes', but stopped as he saw the door open. His expression changed to a polite smile as he saw the older man, rubbing the back of his neck a bit. He couldn't help but hoped he hadn't seen him and Connie that close, afraid of him getting the wrong idea. "Oh, hello sir" he said respectfully, not sure what else to say to him. He had always been told to respect his elders, no matter what they were or what social class they were in.

  • Connie's grandfather gave Alistair a displeased look before walking over to Connie "The problem was all solved, there nothing to worry about." He said patting him on the shoulder. He walked over so he was on the other side of the counter of Alistair. "Mr. Miller." He said holding his hand out to him. He gripped his hand tightly before saying. "I do not believe I've seen you before. Can I ask why you happened to be so close to my grandson." He looked him sternly in the eyes, his stare not wavering one bit.

Connie rushed quietly over to grandfather when he saw what was happening. "OKAY! That's enough. Why don't you go upstairs and rest." He said pulling their hands apart. Squeezing Alistair's hand before letting go. "We can talk later grandpa." he said pushing in back from where he came from and out the door. He made sure he had closed the door tightly before glancing back at Alistair and letting out a little laugh.

  • Alistair chuckled nervously, shaking out his hand a bit. He had a really strong grip for an old man. He was used to the elderly being frail, but he was just shown that wasn't always true. "Heh, I don't think he likes me" he said, slightly joking. Anything to make them feel a bit better about what just happened. "So, how about we meet up later tonight" he asked "I can pick you up anytime you think is right. It's up to you." He didn't want to overstay his welcome, and he didn't want the chance of accidentally getting in trouble with Connie's grandfather.

"Don't worry about it, he only likes a few people anyway." He said making his way back over to Alistair. He leaning on the counter and pushed himself up so he was balancing on his arms. "Well the store closes at 5... but isn't that a little early for a club? So I guess you can come pick me up anytime after that." He said rocking back and forth. He just couldn't stand still the thrill of it all was almost to much for him to take. "oh, because the store will be closed, just go around the side of the building and theres some stair that lead to my room. Just knock and i'll be right out." he said smirking.

  • Alistair felt a bit better hearing that the man didn't like too many people, but he still felt a bit bad about the quick judgement he received. However, he tried to puh it out of his mind as he listened to Connie. He nodded a bit, thinking through it. "Well, we could always do something before we head to the club" he suggested. He couldn't stop the playful smirk that reached his lips as he heard the last sentence. "Already telling me how to get into your room? Moving a little fast there, aren't we?" He chuckled a bit at the end, unable to help himself. He really hoped that Connie understood that he was joking; he'd gotten into too much trouble from people not getting his jokes.

Connie's face turned a bright red from Alistair's remark. But he found it funny. He burst out laughing and tried to hide his face in his hands. "You know what i mean..." he said peeping through his fingers. He could feel his face burning up. But he felt comfortable about him. Something he hadn't felt in a long time. "Okay. We can do something before hand. Pick me up at six, so i have time to get ready." he said letting his hand lay by his side. "I don't mean to kick you out but some of the regular customer should be coming. And they might not feel comfortable with an alpha here. So i'll see you later." And with that Connie winked at Alistair before disappearing back into the storage room.

  • Alistair blushed lightly at his wink, unable to wipe the smile off his face. He managed to wave bye before the other disappeared and sighed. He really didn't want to leave, but he definitely didn't want to cause any trouble by overstaying his welcome. He walked out of the shop, pausing outside to take a mental note of the name and address. He'd be devastated if he couldn't find it again, not to mention Connie would think he had been stood up. That was the last thing he wanted after seeing him so excited. He quickly started making his way back home, not wanting anyone to get the wrong idea.

Ooc- So I am just going to jump to tonight. Hopes thats all good

Ic- The day seemed to drag on forever. The hours seemed to pass by so slowly. He managed to explain to his grandfather that everything was going to be okay. The old man tended to be over protective at times. But that all tied back to Connies parents dying when he was young so he could understand where he came from.

When if was finally time to close the coffee shop. He was ecstatic. He quickly went around the shop making sure everything was picked up, all the chairs where place on top of the tables and that the floor was swept. He went out the front door, flipped the sign and locked the door. He make his way around the building and up to his own little living space. You see his grandfather lived in the back of the shop and Connie lived in one of the two small apartments upstairs. The other belonged to a little couple that lived there for years. He unlocked his door and entered his room. He only had a little time before Alistair arrived. So he ran into his room and picked out an outfit, before jumping in the shower.

  • //that's perfectly fine

Alistair was making his way back to the coffee shop, unable to keep the smile off his face. He was dressed rather nicely, but not too formal. He had tried to do something with his hair, but decided to just keep it a controlled mess like usual. He had been trying to think of a good place to take Connie before they went to the club, but that was proving quite difficult. After all, he still knew very little about him. He had already chosen the club they were going to go to; a smaller one that didn't usually have too much trouble. He didn't know how much the omega could handle, plus there would be less Alphas looking for a one night stand.

He soon reached the shop, relieved that he had managed to find it again. He went around to the side as instructed, climbing his way up to the door. He took a breath before knock, suddenly quite nervous. He wasn't entirely sure why though.

Connie was still in the shower when he heard a knock on the door. He jumped in surprise and almost slipped. He quickly washed the rest of shampoo out of his hair before jumping out and wrapping a towel around his dripping wet body. He make his way to the door trying to cover as much skin as possible before opening it a crack. "umm... can you wait a second. I just got out of the shower." he said nervously peeping his head around the door. He didn't want Alistair to see him like this, because he was quite ashamed about his body. He had scars from the past that were still quite visible. So he shut the door and ran to the bedroom. He was glad he picked out an outfit before jumping in the shower. So he put his clothes on as fast as he could. Them strangely sticking to his body because he had no time to dry off. Before returning to the front door. He took a deep breath in before opening it. "You can come in, I just have to do a few more things before i'm ready. Sorry." He said with water droplet dripping off his hair and down his face.

  • Alistair chuckled a bit at him, shaking his head lightly. "Don't worry, take your time" he said, noticing his rushed appearance "trust me, I'm not in any rush." He felt a bit bad for accidentally hurrying him, thinking he should have come later. He carefully walked into the room, looking around a bit. "Nice room" he said, pausing a moment for be joking "I didn't think I'd get this far until a week at least." He was trying his best to lighten the mood a bit, since Connie seemed worried about being late.

Connie almost slipped when he heard Alistairs remark. A smile peeking up from his lips. "i'll pretend i didn't hear that." He said jokingly right back at him. He quickly disappeared into the bathroom were he went to dry his hair.

Connie's apartment consisted of three rooms. One bedroom, one bathroom, a little living room with a couch, a table and a little kitchen on against one wall. The place was very neat. Mostly because Connie didn't own many things.

Soon Connie reemerged from the bathroom, dry this time. "So where are you taking me?" He asked in with a big grin on his face. He went to the front door and picked a pair of shoes, before sitting on the couch to put them on.

  • Alistair rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled sheepishly at his question. "W-well, I'm not entirely sure" he said, looking to the side "I know which club we're going to, The Venue, but I have no idea what to do before that. You have any ideas?" He hoped he did, because he didn't want to send too much time trying to figure out what to do. He also hoped it helped Connie have a good time if he had a suggestion of where to go. It might help him have more fun.

"oh... umm we could get something to eat. I don't know about you but i haven't eaten anything yet." He said tying up his last shoe. He grabbed his jacket which was handing by the door. "I know this great little place where we can walk to. Its a little ways, but it should be nice." He said ginning at Alistair. "The place i'm thinking of is a little ramen stand on the other side of the park. It is a 15 minute walk but definitely worth it."

  • Alistair smiled a bit at the suggestion, nodding. "That sounds great" he said. He hadn't really been to a ramen stand before, but he was completely open to trying new things. Besides, it was something Connie liked. He wouldn't want to disappoint the Omega by saying no. "So, are you ready now" he asked, jokingly "nothing else you need to grab quickly?"

"Oh, I can't forget my wallet." He said quickly disappearing into his bedroom. He came back out with his wallet in hand. "Okay now I'm ready." He held the door open for Alistair. And when they where both through he closed it shut and locked it. "So i'll lead the way i guess." he quickly made way down the stairs, turning around when he got to the bottom to watch Alistair.

//don't worry, kind of the same. I'm just waiting till we get to the night club, cause i got some ideas to spice it up.

  • //we can time skip to there if you want

Alistair made his way down as well, slightly slower than the Omega. He smiled at him once he reached the bottom. "You first, my good sir" he said, gesturing for him to lead the way. He had a good feeling about tonight, and he hoped nothing bad happened to ruin it.

  • //yeah that sounds good. If we don't i feel like we would just drag on forever before getting to the club lol.

Connie and Alistair went and had there ramen at the little stand on the other side of the park. It was a nice little walk, quiet with no one to disturb them. He opened up to Alistair a little bit more. He felt as if he could talk to him about so many things. And he was learning all kinds of stuff he didn't know before. It was quite strange hearing what everything was like from an alphas point of view. He definitely felt comfortable with him now. There was no doubt about that. The sun was now beginning to set and the night was getting crisp. "Is it late enough to head to the night club now?" Connie asked pulling his jacket about his body.
