(okiedokie then!)
Cobra was stalking a rabbit half heartedly. She'd been sad, lonely, and depressed ever since the incident. She held in a sigh, and sprang at the rabbit. Her paws came down on it, and she reached her head forward to snap it's neck. Once it was dead, she stared at it. It was smaller then what would fill her, but she didn't care. She pawed at it, before taking a few bites. She finished it off after a few moments, though her belly still rumbled a bit. She ignored it, and looked up at the sun. It must be lonely up there.. Why was this happening to her? She'd never cared about other wolf company before, not ever! Well, the first few weeks after her pack's death had been hard, but after a moon she'd been ok. Now, it was like she'd started over. She got up, and began briskly walking. She eventually found herself near her old home. She turned from there, and came to the river bank. She was a ways away from Khevyel and PArzivels den, where the hunter had found them. She lay down beside the river, and gazed into the water. Who are you now, Cobra? Are you happy you've run for the hundredth time?
-
Amber was at the river, drinking some of the cool water. It was a bit odd that the loner didn't move along to the next patch of land. Once she finished, she raised her head before noticing something... Someone to be exact. "So you finally came back?" She sat down and slightly tilted her head as she waited for the female's answer. Although her wound had longed healed, her curiosity had made her stay with the three back at the den and -surprisingly- help out a bit
-
Cobra shot her head towards a voice. Oh great, it's her. She stood, hackles raised. "I don't know what you're talking about. I just came to the river for a drink." Cobra wanted to ask how everyone was doing, but she wouldn't. Amber might not know anyway, perhaps she'd left them. "Anyway, I'll be leaving now. Can't say it's a pleasure to see you Amber, but I hope you're doing well." Cobra did mean that. She turned, and began to walk back into the forest before her emotions pinned her to the ground.

"A change in scenery will be nice," she had assured, though Parzival's discontent expression never wavered. He had been sulking most of the way out to the forest's edge, casting a fleeting glace in its direction, then another, then another. Khevyel huffed and stopped suddenly, making the sullen brute bump into her from behind. She snapped her jaws at him, "Get a hold of yourself, Parzival. You knew Cobra for all of three days. That was almost two months ago." He reeled back slightly, ears flattening against his head. His dark chocolate eyes looked hurt for a moment, and Khevyel knew she'd been too harsh. She let the fur on her shoulders settle, and sighed. "It's not the end of the world, Paz. She made her decision, that's just how life goes." She nuzzled him softly, licking his ear. He nodded sullenly and began walking again, until the two were well into the grassy plains. The treeline of the forest was still visible from the cropping of rocks they decided to make their new den in. -
Cobra had run into the forest. She was away from other wolves, again. For all I know, they've all left, besides Amber. Cobra knew that Khevyel and Parzivel were travelers, and would never stay in one place so long. Which is why I should stop thinking about them, they're gone. But it wasn't just them in particular. She missed Parzivel. everyday she wondered if she should go back, but by now she knew she was too late. With that thought, she threw her head skywards, and howled for the first time in two months.

AAAAAHH SORRY FOR THE LACK OF ACTIVITY! I've been having personal issues and emo edgy teen moments and depression etc., but I'll try not to let that happen again)
Mallory pressed his flank to Khevyel's leg, his heart sinking with uncertainty. He felt as if he had grown a little attached to Cobra after their little quarrel with Amber and racing through the tunnels from a predator all of them feared. He felt as if in the heat of the moment, each wolf became one, and dove into action in unison, regardless of reputation or rank. It was a weird feeling- a stimulating, hair-raising moment- one that he would certainly not forget. Whether it was good or bad that the hunter brought them closer, it was definitely a memory Mallory would carry with him. He tilted his head back to stare up at the she-wolf towering over him and his puffy tail began to sway. On the way to the new land, Mallory thought about his entire life and what might become of him in the future. Perhaps Mallory would be forced to leave after he became an adult, or perhaps he would choose to leave whenever he pleased. He pawed absent-mindedly at a stray blade of grass, focusing his gaze down at his paws.

The wind picked up, carrying the sound of a familiar howl. She flicked an ear and glanced over her shoulder at Parzival. He stared off in the sound's direction, stiff-legged, as though every muscle in his body wanted to move while his mind kept them at bay. Khevyel sighed as she watched him throw his head back in a response howl, one edged with joy but mostly just longing. -
Cobra pricked her ears, her heart swelling. They're still here. At least Parzivel was. She couldn't hear the others, but they must've been if Parzivel was. She howled again, louder, and happier then she'd sounded in weeks.

[center][color=#e0e0e0]Parzival let out another heartfelt howl, inching forward just a bit as though that half step would make his call louder. He looked over his shoulder at Khevyel with the eyes of an excited pup, tail wagging slightly. "She's still around, Khev! We can go visit her again!" The look on his sister's face was disheartening; she just cocked a brow before going back to making her nest. "Don't you want to see her again?" he asked, almost confused. His sister only shrugged and kept at her work.

~Kenna~ -
Amber got herself ready to leave. She had no reason to stay any longer. The show was ending and the two who helped make it interesting was leaving too. She remembered what Cobra had said before leaving and a small smile appeared on her lips. Even though the sentence had bitterness in it, she could still sense some kindness in it. With enough food in her belly to last her some time, she began to head out but stopped once she heard a few howls. "Maybe the shows not over after all" she muttered to herself as she sat down, listening to their songs and anything else
-
Cobra was silent for an extra moment. Where are the others? What if they don't want to see me? But she found she didn't care, and ran a few steps towards Parzivel's howl. She returned it yet again, the musical, yet heart wrenching sound filling the dusky sky.
//can't wait wolf!
-
Mallory stood rooted in his spot and glanced up at the pale blue sky. He allowed himself to ease down onto his belly and rest his head on one paw, casting his gaze back towards Parzival. The older male seemed to be attempting to communicate with another by howling; his voice was deep and heartfelt, and it sounded as if it just flowed on the soft currents of the wind with ease. Parzival's enchanting voice was drawing Mallory towards him, and without thinking, the tiny brown pup chimed in with his usual high-pitched, melancholic voice. His voice seemed strange alongside Parzival's, but he loved harmonizing with the other wolves.

[center][color=#e0e0e0]Parzival smiled down at the pup as he joined in the song. Looking down at Mal, Parzival realized the pup wasn't quite as little as he once was. Six weeks had gone by fast, now that he thought about it. He'd barely realized how much Mallory had grown since they'd first picked him up off the riverbank.

Cobra kept howling, louder again as Mallory's voice joined in. She realized she'd missed the pup, more then she ever would've thought. She still didn't here Khevyel, which made her worry a bit. Maybe she just left.. Would she leave Parzivel? Cobra stopped her howling, and tenetivly trotted in their direction, though she was still far off.

~Kenna~Woken abruptly by the nearby howling, Kenna's lids flew open. Her tufted ears pushed back slightly against the back of her cranium, the pitched noises harsh against her eardrums. What's the big deal? Have I missed something? She wondered, a puzzled expression arising on her angular face, her head tilting to the left at about 45 degrees. Kenna didn't much socialize with most of the pack, considering many didn't care for her attitude. To her, she sees herself as blunt and sarcastic and to others, well...she was just rude. But, Kenna didnt really care about their opinion. She did her job as a fellow pack member and no one could say she didnt do a well enough job. After a moment, the useless howling grew quite irritating. She let out a low growl, her lips showing to reveal strong canines. "Shut up." She muttered, throwing a forepaw over her head to cease some of the noise.

Name: Cobra
Gender: Female
Type: Black Wolf
Age: 1 1/2 years
Kin: deceased
Description: Cobra is a black furred, strongly built lone wolf. What happened to her pack, almost no one knows but her. She hates to talk about it, and it takes a lot to get her to open up. She is strong, wily, and has a short temper. She's rather impulsive, which can be good or bad. She always puts on a brave face, but has many insecurities hidden beneath her prickly manner. Perhaps one day she will be strong enough to face her biggest fear, but for now her biggest worry is survival.Cobra didn't hear the wolf, who was probably far off. She continued to walk, almost trancelike towards Parzivel's and Mallory's howls. She still ceased her own howls though. I wonder where they are... Past the old den, I think.
