  • Deep in the living quarters of the castle, a room was currently being sought by a particular avian with no sense of direction. She shuffled back and forth in a haze of confusion, once again asking an NPC where there would be a place to take up lodgings. They kindly directed her to the right place, and she encountered a hallway of mostly empty rooms. She ambled about, finally picking a door that was at the end of the hall, the spaces between the doorframes suggesting spacious, extravagant quarters that fit the theme of the rest of the castle. Noelani carefully turned the iron doorknob, and blinked at the large room that greeted her. It was furnished well - a four-poster bed was pushed against one wall, while a dresser, a desk, a mirror, and a window took up the rest. In the center of the floor was a thick, soft carpet of intricate designs, while overhead gleamed a small assortment of candles on a chandelier. It was more beautiful than she could imagine! Her last home had been small and dingy, but cozy. This entire room was richly decorated from wall to wall, floor to ceiling - could she get used to this? Definitely. Noelani grinned to herself as she untucked her wings from her back to let them air out, pushing open the window and smiling at the draft of air that started to sweep out the musty smell from disuse. Yes, this was better than she could have expected.

  • "Having fun settling in?" Eden would ask in amusement, watching the other standing at the window happily as a breeze blew in. He hadn't meant to intrude, it was just the fact she had left her door open and he had happened to be wandering down the hall at the time. Now though, he had stopped his original stroll to see how Noelani was doing. She seemed well, but he didn't always like to assume things. That just made him feel bad when he was wrong, or messed something up. Sometimes, it even made others feel bad too, especially when he assumed too much of something, or assumed something so key there would be no way going back.

  • Noelani turned to face Eden with a wide smile, golden eyes round and alight with excitement. "Absolutely!" She replied, feeling giddy at the thought of actually living in a castle. "The whole thing is so huge! I don't think I'll be able to get used to all of this space." She laughed, blinking at the liger in wonder. "Did you ever get lost here?" The avian would inquire with a smile. She sure hoped so - it would be a slight reassurance that she wasn't as dull as she thought she was. Either way, she needed to get a map. Maybe if she found some pens, ink, and paper she could make one. How cool would that be? Very.

  • //sorry for the late response, I was having computer problems

"I used to, although I'm far better off now with my surroundings" the male would respond with a small shrug. He never really liked admitting weaknesses, which was why he was quick to follow up that he had since gotten much better at finding his way around the castle. It wasn't like he didn't trust the other, it was just in his family line, weaknesses were rather looked down upon. Not to mention most of his family members, including him at a time, had held a leading position of a clan.
