    Personality:
Louis is a shadow of his former lively self. Before his brothers death Louis was a prankster, constantly playing around with Mateo and his friends with a positive view towards life despite his home situation. After his brothers death Louis lacked his charisma. Now he tends to daydream and spend his early mornings smoking on rooftops. His usually commentary is laced with dry sarcasm as he tends to answer questions straight forward usually coming off as rude. Louis is rather self destructive, taking to self harm and smoking he still blames himself for things that were out of his control. He usually ignores most people now, much rather wanting to take pictures or listen to his music as it helps him escape the hell of a reality he lives in. A smile is the hardest thing to get out of this kid nowadays.

    Physical Description:
Standing at 5'6 Lou adorns a rather average build. He has a slender figure, muscle is very present despite the lack of any physical exertion. He has grey-bleach white hair and washed out grey-blue eyes that stand out among his pale skin. He has a septum piercing. He's usually seen wearing t-shirts despite the scars on his forearms. He can be seen wearing casual clothing, a t-shirt with dress shirts over the, black or blue jeans, and a hat or beanie.

    History:
Louis grew up in a small town with his parents and younger brother. Their family did well, his parents both held stable jobs and hie and his brother, Mateo who was three years younger than him, did their best in school and tried to stay out of their parents hair. Things weren't exactly the best at home either though. His father was almost never home and when he was it was usually him drunk. That resulted in constant arguments with his mother. The arguments tended to escalate, getting louder and physical. But this happened to be something the two children had gotten used too. Most of the time whenever it happened Lou and Mateo would either lock themselves in their room and study together to the sound of music blasting in their ears or they'd leave and head to the park. This routine for the two kids and they had gotten used to it. They structured their lives around it.

Around his last year of middle school Lou began questioning almost everything. His sexuality, his gender being the main two. He struggled to figure out self identity and was scared of the thoughts that exploded in his mind. In an attempt to finish his school year like a normal person Lou pushed the thoughts away and avoided them. But the persistence of them kept him up at night and made him paranoid. At the start of his freshmen year Louis decided that he'd go one like this and eventually he'd be fine. The drunk nights persisted and the fighting never ceased. One would say that the pressure of high school dawned on Louis because halfway into his sophomore year he began smoking and "hanging with the wrong crowd". His time at home became less and less and for a while he was okay with it. If he was out smoking and drinking it meant he wasn't home thinking about his gender or listening to his parents argue.

Trying to get through his own struggles distracted Louis from noticing Mateos struggles. The younger boy was withdrawing into himself and becoming rapidly stressed Mateo missed the presence of his older sister there to guide him and, in a sense, keep him safe. Mateo felt alone, forgotten, and abandoned.

Louis would never forget the morning he found his brother dead in his room.

In the following months Louis blamed it on himself. The fact that he was too caught up in his own struggles made him ignorant of the leadership his brother needed. Louis then took to self harm and developed internal struggles. Almost a year of this mindset of being a mindless zombie who was addicted to pain Louis came out to his parents as trans after passing it along with his friends at school. He decided that this was it. After years of questioning it he realized he just didn't fit in the label "girl", didn't really appreciate his chest, and much rather preferred being referred to as a male.

This caused an outrage in his household but Louis was almost numb by then and disregarded the constant lectures he got from his parents. His parents lashed out at him which caused him to become even more depressed than he already was. Without the support he wanted from his parents Louis began to loathe them. And until he can save enough money up to leave he continues to live with them but he usually spends his time at the club he Dj's for or at a friends house. He doesn't like staying home due to the fact it reminds him of Mateo and his parents refuse to call him by his preferred name, Louis and his pronouns, he/him.
