  • Jadepaw shook her head. She picked up her half, and went to the edge of the cave, where the sunlight shone. She, seeing no one her age around, began to eat alone.

Frozenpaw smirked at his brother. "If I was flirting, you'd know." He turned his attention to Olivepaw. "Okay, okay. I had a dream about this place. I found it the first day of my apprenticeship." He looked sharply at Birchpaw. "Happy now?"

Maplepaw laughed, and said "Yeah," trotting over to Acornfall. "What today?" She asked, stopping to look at her mentor as she waited for her to speak, amber optics occasionally straying to view the camp. She honestly thought being a medicine cat apprentice was fun, and worth it, even if she had a slight limp. Before she had gone outside, she had grabbed her flower crown, of course, and it now sat proudly on her head.[fancypost]

  • //that would be great! however, Larkkit is female xD
    ~
Alderstar nodded his head and watched as Wintermist happily trotted off to find his mate. His head glanced up at the sky, and the tom smiled softly. Maybe they're not so bad after all.
    ~

Stormwhisker snarled and slid up beside Bumbleclaw. Despite his injured leg (which he kept awkwardly lifted), he was stood up and ready to fight, aware of his deputy's unconsciousness no matter if he hated him or not. "We thank you for helping Honeypaw and saving Marshfrost, but Bumbleclaw is right. You are not welcome here, and I am sure you would not like to meet my brother." His threat was subtle. Stormwhisker knew Alderstar was a fair cat and would not hurt Forgotten in the slightest, however he wouldn't be particularly kind either.
    ~
Honeypaw hadn't expected this. She hadn't expected any of it. Behind her, unintelligible voices spoke, making her ears ring with every sound they make. Her vision before her was blurry and she found it hard to move, so shen didn't. A groan escaped her lips, but she made no effort to try and get up.

Eveningrunner glanced up at Wintermist and a soft sigh of relief escaped her maw. "Oh, that's good news. Alderstar's a good leader, much unlike previous ones we've encountered." Eveningrunner did not mean this as as much of a compliment as it seemed to be. Alderstar was indeed a good leader - she could not deny that fact - however, her trust in him wasn't whole. After all, her past resulted in her trust lying only in her mate and her kits.

Leafbird glanced over at Newtwing, her heartbeat quickening a bit, but she managed to keep herself under control. A self-confident smirk tugged at the corners of her mouth and she flicked an ear. "Why, hello Newtwing! I'm doing fine this morning - how are you?" The flirtatious part didn't really come into play with Newtwing. It was more of an obnoxious, 'I've-got-high-self-esteem' act around him.

  • Marshfrost is unconscious.

Acornfall grinned, gesturing with her tail towards the hole in the ceiling that brought them onto land. "We're going to test your skills of medicine OUTSIDE of the medicine cat den. You have to know what herbs look like, what they do, and WHERE they are. Come, now, let us go." Padding outside, she sniffed around, looking for a simple herb to quiz her on first. Giving a satisfied grunt when she saw a certain herb, she gently plucked it out with her teeth, down by the steam. It was a small, white flower with a yellow center. [x] Laying it in front of Maplepaw, she sat down. "Do you know what herb this is? And, if so, what does it do?" She asked, tapping her tail gently on the ground.

The stranger, now known as Forgotten, actually broke into a grin. "Oh, I'm not going to your leader. No, I rather be alone. I've had... Let's just say I've had bad experiences with big groups." Starting to walk away, he was suddenly pounced on. Pushed to the ground, he was facing the she-cat known as Bumbleclaw. He smirked, unsheathing his claws. "Please, let me go. You wouldn't like me to hurt you, would you? I give more... Damage than most cats." Bumbleclaw just growled, and she gave a blow to his head. About to lunge at her throat, she jumped off, and left him snapping at air. Jumping up, he ran towards her, and she was standing by a tree. She dodged out of the way, and he ran straight into the trunk; head-first. Falling to the ground, he went unconscious.

Bumbleclaw huffed, shaking her fur after the fight. "So many unconscious cats." Looking at Stormwhisker, she shrugged. "You take this one. I got Marshfrost and Honeypaw." Padding over towards Marshfrost first, she grabbed his scruff. He mumbled in his sleep, but stayed out. Dragging him over towards Honeypaw, she grabbed her scruff. Seeing she was still awake, she closed her eyes with her paw. Dragging them both towards the camp, she stopped to take a break at the hole. Shaking her head, she put them down before her. Hearing a gasp from Cherrymist, she looked at her. "Where are the medicine cats, and Alderstar? We got attacked by a wolf. And a stranger." She said, flicking her tail-tip towards Stormwhisker as he dragged in Forgotten.

Cherrymist, who just finished her fish, perked her ears as two figures, limp, came down the hole. Followed by Bumbleclaw, she gasped, running towards them. Sniffing Honeypaw and Marshfrost over, she looked at Bumbleclaw as she spoke. "A-Alderstar is here, and Berrynose is inside her den with Paddlepaw. Acornfall just went out with Maplepaw for a training lesson. Here, I'll help you take them in." Taking Honeypaw gently in her jaws, she carried her inside the medicine cat den. She hoped to help Berrynose and Paddlepaw; as she always wanted to be a medicine cat and knew many herbs. "Wolf attack." She said to them before placing Honeypaw gently on a nest.

Birchpaw raised his invisible eyebrows, chuckling slightly to himself. "A dream? Wow. StarClan must LOVEEEEEE you." He said, looking at Olivepaw and rolling his eyes. "I just remembered the name. You called it Ridge-Rock, right?" He snickered, but he thought it was actually a creative name; though he did not admit that.

Olivepaw just listened, seating herself. Scanning the rocks, she blushed slightly. "Well, that's a nice name for a place like this. Does Alderstar know?" She asked, getting up and running her paw along the rock. "No; we were planning on keeping it a secret and just having it be a place for apprentices to hang out." She grinned, shrugging.

  • — ☆*:・☽ must be love on the brain!

Paddlepaw perked up his ears. He was going to answer but then he heard wolf attack. He immediatly grabbed cobwebs, and being dressing Honeypaw wounds. In times like this, Paddlepaw was more focused and he wasn't very shy. He knew what he was doing, and he could get the job done quick. "Okay... I need some burdock and dock. Don't worry, she will be just fine." He reassured in a hushed tone of voice.

  • Wintermist felt a bit defensive. He knew she meant Bonestar, but he felt the need to defend Echostar. "Echostar was a good leader, too. Oh, I hope he is alright with his kits and Willowstar." He missed his old Clan, but AdderClan was a good Clan. Sighing, he lay down, looking outside and watching Soulfoot play with the kits.

Newtwing chuckled, looking at her lips closely. "Oh, just fine, thank you! Would you maybe want to go on a hunt later...?" He slowed to a stop, as he saw a commotion near the medicine cat den. He didn't hear what happened, and he was annoyed. He REALLY wish he knew, then he would know the danger. "What happened? They look awful! And who the heck is that?" He asked, gesturing towards Forgotten.

Whitekit followed after Soulfoot, pouting. "Hey, slow down, Soulfoot! I want to get on!" Soulfoot must have finally heard, as he looked down and broke into a grin. Stopping, he heard the elder yell: "Climb aboard, young one!" Scrambling up his leg, his little heart jumped. He hated climbing, and was scared of falling. But, he made it to the top of Soulfoot's back, and clung onto Soulfoot as he started to move. "H-Hi, guys!" He squeaked, blushing for no reason.

Soulfoot perked his ears, hearing about the wolf attack. Gently turning his head so none of the little ones fell off, he saw Cherrymist carry in Honeypaw, and then Bumbleclaw drag in Marshfrost. Stormwhisker soon followed with a stranger he had never seen before. His fur prickled, and he padded away from the medicine cat den so the kits couldn't see. Looking down to see a white kit squeaking at him, he grinned. "Climb aboard, young one!" He said, stopping and letting Whitekit on. Walking forward again, he continued to look for Larkkit.

  • //Alright!

Ravenpaw had been hunting when she heard voices. Deciding to check it out, she followed the noise and found Frozenpaw, Olivepaw and Birchpaw talking on some rocks. "Hello, guys!" she called out, not wanting to interrupt. "What'cha doing?" The black she-cat padded over to where her fellow apprentices were.

  • Jadepaw saw Marshfoot brought inside and she hurried over. "What happened? Is everyone else okay?" She asked hurriedly. /slightly low muse

Frozenpaw chuckled at his brother. "You're just jealous 'cause I found it,not you." He looked at Olivepaw and rolled his blue eyes. He was about to speak, but Ravenpaw (Bwahahaha) appeared. "Hello Ravenpaw." He said warmly. "I'm just explaining to Birchpaw that even Starclan has favorites."

Larkkit woke late, her green and blue eyes opening. She gave a silent yawn, and padded out of the nursery. She walked up to her father, and touched him on the shoulder. She then gestured to the crowd gathering around Marshfrost.

  • Berrynose smilled at how assured of himself Paddlepaw was. She nodded to his request and padded quickly to the herb stash and gathered the necessary herbs. She dropped some by her apprentice before beginning to attend to the other two cats. After looking both Marshfrost and the outsider over she decided to treat Marshfrost first, as he was more severely injured. As the she-cat worked on dressing her deputy's wounds, she looked up to see Cherrymist standing nearby. Knowing the she-cat loved to help the medicine cats, and help would be nice since only half where here, she meowed "Cherrymist, would you mind getting some water with that moss over there? Oh, and grab me some more cobwebs." She added the last request after realizing one of Marshfrost's wounds was bleeding through the cobwebs she was compressing on it.

  • Cherrymist smiled, padding over to them and grabbing some moss. "Thank you!" Dipping her head down over a small puddle of water, she soaked the moss in it. Speed-walking over to Berrynose, she gave it to her. Running over towards the herb storage, she looked through the evenly and clean shelves of herbs. Finding the cobwebs, she wrapped a good amount around her paw. Going as fast as she could to Berrynose and Paddlepaw, she gave her the cobweb. "Anything else you'd like me to do?" She was very eager, and practically jumping with excitement. Looking at Jadepaw, she looked at Marshfrost. "They'll live, but Marshfrost is badly injured."

Birchpaw snorted, rolling his eyes. "Hello, Ravenpaw. Welcome to the ridge-rock, that the 'famous' Frozenpaw found." He teased his brother, nudging him. Looking up at the sky, he saw it was getting close to dusk. "We should start going soon..."

Olivepaw grinned, still observing the rock structure. //low muse

  • Upon hearing her brothers voice, her ear swiveled back, her head following soon after, and her grin widened. She stepped over and around the other kits easily, her tail quivering in newfound excitement. She was a bit confused by the blush, though didn't speak on it at the moment.
    "Hey, Whitekit!"

  • Berrynose smiled at the warrior's enthusiasm. "Thank you, Cherrymist." She took some of the cobwebs Cherrymist had brought and added them to Marshfrost's wound and applied more pressure with her paw. Once the bleeding stopped she carefully removed the cobwebs and smeared a poultice of burdock root and dock before wrapping it in fresh cobwebs. Then she checked him over one more time to make sure she hadn't missed any wounds and helped him take a poppy seed, using the soaked moss to drip water into his mouth to wash it down. "You can check on anyone else involved in the fight and tell me if they have any bad wounds." she meowed to Cherrymist before beginning to work on the stranger.

Maple thought for a moment before speaking, "It is... Chamomile," searching her brain for answers, until about a half second before getting the answer. "It can be used to calm cats that are shock, like thyme!" She spoke, not even noticing the commotion and stuff about wolf attacks, completely focused on training and learning all she could about herbs, so she can help her clan in the future.

  • Momo neared where the apprentices were. Though she didn't approach them immediately. The kittypet, ears perked, eavesdropped. Her green eyes settled on them. They have odd names, she thought. Birchpaw, Ravenpaw? Yet they seemed friendly enough. Perhaps... She pushed past the foliage, her calico figure visible to them. "Um... hello?" Such a quiet, uncertain voice, cautious of her approach. Even the distance she kept, stopped just a few feet from the young cats.

Lionheart yawned. Settled in his little spot in the clearing, he eventually curled up. Then he soon dozed.

    //sorry for bit of low muse and any awkwardness with Momo's approach? I just have a really hard time getting myself into roleplays that are this far along?? So I hope this is okay! ; w ;

  • //Can't wait till Birchpaw and Frozenpaw find out their sister's got a 'concussion' lmao

Alderstar's ears pricked and he instantly headed toward the commotion. "Cherrymist? What happened?" His green eyes diverted to his deputy and said deputy's only daughter. "They're alive, right?" His breath caught in his throat. Alderstar and Marshfrost, to others, might seem like they had a working relationship. But to Alderstar, both toms had much more in common than thought. Both toms had lost their mates, and both toms only had one daughter. Not to mention, Alderstar really didn't fancy choosing a new deputy. Marshfrost was beyond better than any other warrior in this Clan...not that he didn't think the rest of them were skilled. Alderstar shook his head. Don't think like that. They're both from a strong heritage - they'll be fine.

Stormwhisker nodded his head and took Forgotten's scruff, hardly even trying to be gentle as he dragged them back to camp. Upon seeing his brother, Stormwhisker dropped the unconscious loner and headed over to Alderstar, nudging his shoulder in what seemed to be a comforting way. He was quietly thanked, before Stormwhisker headed back over to the loner and sat beside him, scoffing. "I know this guy's a loner, but his name's Forgotten. He...I think without him, Honeypaw would've died."

Eveningrunner scoffed. "But of course, he was a good leader. However, you've not lived the majority of your life parentless and within the Legacy. You may have seen some bad things, Wintermist, but not nearly as much as I have." She paused to press her nose to his, reminding him she wasn't angry but only making a point. Sometimes it was hard to tell if Eveningrunner was only trying to get her point across, or if she was angry. Upon spotting Larkkit, she shook her head. She'd already heard each and every word of the commotion outside. "If any more cats approach, I fear it may be hard for the medicine cats to do their work. I think Sagekit and Nightkit are looking for you, Larkkit." she mewed softly, nudging her daughter toward the nursery entrance.

Sagekit seemed almost oblivious to the commotion. He knew it was going on, but just chose to ignore it. "Hey, look! I found Larkkit!" he shrieked, tumbling off of Soulfoot with no regard for Whitekit, spinning around eagerly as he headed towards his other sister.

Leafbird smiled and responded. "Of course! That sounds like fun." Leafbird's attention was then turned back to where Newtwing had padded over to, and her smile vanished as she approached too. However, out of respect for Paddlepaw's efforts, Leafbird remained silent.

    Milksplatter is still waiting.

"Honeypaw, I need you to stay awake for me, okay? You have a head injury and you are not to fall asleep. Don't make me get your brothers in here to keep you awake." He told her. If she did fall asleep, she could possibly never wake up, and he didn't want that. Not at all. He grabbed a honeycomb, and broke it off, giving a peace to every injuried cat, and placing one gently near the unconscious cats, who he began treating, his tail batting Honeypaw, just to make sure she was awake. It wasn't hard, but ut was just softly across her spine, to make her jump a bit and stay awake.

Quickfoot twitched his tail til. He was worried for his clan mates, indeed. It was amazing how two faced the cat was. He had no care for his son, but he would die to protect his clansmates. Seemed wrong, but he just hated his son.

Nightkit looked over at the other two kits, before she slipped and rolled off Soulfoot's back, onto the ground with an 'oof!'. She just laughed it off before standing back up, shaking her fur off and running to get her sister.

  • Jadepaw looked at Berrynose. "Would you like any more help?" She asked, pale eyes wide with concern for the injured.

Frozenpaw smirked at his brother. "Ha ha ha. Very funny." He also looked at the sky. Dark clouds were starting to gather. "Yeah, Honeypaw should be back from her patrol by now." He stood.

Larkkit ran over to her siblings, touching each one on the nose, her customary greeting. Having little to no voice certainty was a pain in her tail, but it was the way she was born.

  • Honeypaw flinched every time Paddlepaw touched her. Growling, she attempted to shuffle away. She had previously been unconscious, but regained fuzzy consciousness on the way here. She'd bumped against Marshfrost so many times, she probably had bruises in places she didn't know she had! Honeypaw's amber eyes fluttered shut, but her breathing steadied. Eventually, she raised her head. "I'm...not at the river..."

Paradox snorted, moving a bit so he could stare directly into Milksplatter's eyes again. Being as perceptive as he was, weaknesses of other cats came easy to him. "If you're trying to make me leave, it won't work. I'm happy here, for your information."
