The she cat lashed her tail. "If it wasn't a problem then I wouldn't have tried to attack you, huh?" She snorted, baring her teeth. She unsheathed her claws, the fur along her spine raising. She blinked, and moved her gaze away from his. She hated her eyes being stared into. It was her weakness, and it was very obvious.

Nightkit giggled, Climbing up Soulfoot's back. "Wow! I can almost see the entire camp from here! Come look Sagekit!" She called out to her brother, purring with excitement.

Paddlepaw sighed quietly, sitting in the nest. "Well, the cobwebs are to help stop bleeding. And uh.. I forgot the rest..." He said with a nervous laugh, before mentally scarring himself. He knew almost all the herbs, he just felt a bit under pressure was all.

  • ♥ ― ooc: luya, are you forgetting Stormwhisker XD? and that's fine that she hears them!

Marshfrost winced as the fox went for his daughter. Bunching his shoulders, he jumped onto the wolf's back. Digging his claws in to stay balanced, he looked at Honeypaw. "Honeypaw, go back to camp and get help. Right-!" Suddenly, the wolf rolled over onto its back. He was winded, and couldn't breathe. He was being crushed, and he gasped for breath. He squeezed his eyes shut as he tried to fight back, but he was slowly loosing consciousness.

    Acornfall is waiting for Mapplepaw.

Cherrymist's head went under the water as she grasped her teeth around a fish. Bringing it back above the surface, she already had killed the fish by grabbing its throat. Going for the next one with he paw, she missed it. Waiting a little longer, Newtwing finally brought her back to her senses. "I think that's enough for now. We should head back."

Bumbleclaw went to go help Honeypaw back up when Marshfrost was suddenly crushed under the weight of the wolf. "No!" Running over, she tried clawing at the wolf's face, but it snapped way too close to her paw.

Birchpaw gasped, looking at the strange structures. "Oh, StarClan, it does!" Looking around, he started padding forward still. "We should bring Honeypaw here one time. Or some of the other apprentices, they would like it here. This could be the apprentice hang-out or something!"

    Creamkit is sleeping.

  • "That's alright. These two herbs are Burdock Root and Dock." she meowed, pointing to each of the herbs as she said the name. After she cleaned up the wounds, she chewed up a poultice of the two herbs and begin to apply it gently. "Burdock Root is for infection - I always use it for open wounds just to be on the safe side - and Dock is used to sooth scratches." Then, she covered the wounds with cobwebs.

  • Jadepaw nodded and grabbed the large fish in her mouth. She looked at the other fish she caught and the vole with doubt. How was she to carry all three of them?

Frozenpaw nodded. "Yeah, we should bring Jadepaw here. I was hunting with her the other day, and she was really cool. We could bring all of them though. That would be pretty cool too."

  • She shook her head towards the warrior, only for her attention to be averted as Nightkit towered said warrior. It seemed like fun, and Blackkit wanted to climb up as well, though didn't want to make Soulfoot mad or upset... So instead, she just stayed on the ground, shuffling her somewhat large paws against the ground.

  • Newtwing smiled, grabbing a fish for Jadepaw. In his jaw he also held a vole and a squirrel. "Don't worry, I got the fish for you. If you would like, you could lead the way." He smiled, flicking his ears. He wish he could hear... What if that splash had been one of them falling in the water, and they were drowning? What if one of them panicked, and they drowned trying to save the other one? Pushing away the thoughts, his eyes still reflected how worried he was.

Soulfoot purred as the kits climbed on top of him. Oh, how he missed the days when Jaybranch and Newtwing were kits. There was a pang in his heart when he thought of his his deceased mate. He almost stumbled over at the thought, but the elder kept his balance. Shaking his head lightly, he coughed. "Come, you all may climb on me. We can then look for Larkkit together." //I'll put in the news which cats are open to rp, like Larkkit + Jaybranch!

  • The kit visibly beamed at this, and she balanced on her hind legs for a moment, also leaning onto the elder before scrambling her way up. In a way, she imagined climbing a tree, and it made her laugh upon reaching the 'treetop'. The kit settled near his neck and shoulders, raising herself to peek over the old tom's ears. It was like looking through a valley between two mountains, and all of her Clan's camp could be seem in said valley. Just as 'scaling the tree' made her laugh, this did to.

  • A black outline hid in the bushes, his gray eyes narrowed in suspicion. He was watching a group of cats, two big ones and a small one. The leader of the group it seemed offered to carry the smaller one's fish. The stranger's long, fluffy tail moved back and forth, a few leaves scrapping against the dirt. Freezing, he saw the other bigger one, it seemed like the female, look in his direction. Holding his breath, he breathed a sigh of relief when she looked away. Unsheathing his claws, he wondered if he should emerge. I'll watch them for a while longer. I want to see if these cats go somewhere.

Cherrymist smiled at Newtwing, thankful for the help. She held three large fish in her jaw, two of which was dragging on the ground. Suddenly, she heard leaves rustle in some bushes close to them. Narrowing her eyes, she turned her head in the direction of the sound. She swore she saw some gray eyes, but they disappeared. Snorting, her fur prickled as she looked away. "I think we should get going. There's something around here, I heard some leaves."

Birchpaw huffed. "Jadepaw, really? Come on, she's the leader's kit. She'll probably tell him about this place. But alright, she can come too." Suddenly, someone emerged out of the bushes. Jumping, he unsheathed his claws and barred his teeth. But, then he saw Olivepaw. "Oh, great StarClan, don't ever do that again Olivepaw! I think my heart stopped..."

Olivepaw, a bit bored, didn't feel like waiting for her mentor Leafbird to go training. Instead, she noticed Birchpaw and Frozenpaw leave. Following slowly after them, she waited until they were distracted. Leaving her hiding place in the bushes, she laughed when Birchpaw got scared. "Hah! I guess I finally got you back for putting those ants in my nest!"

  • Jadepaw nodded. She began leading the way back home, the hair on the back of her neck raised. She felt her neck start to ache under the weight of the large fish, and after what seemed like forever, the arrived at their cave.

Frozenpaw shook his head. "She didn't tell when I told her about the a-. Hi Olivepaw..." He said uncomfortably as the she-cat appeared. "Besides, it's not like Alderstar didn't already know. He's explored every inch of this territory."

  • The stranger followed after the group, keeping his head low because he was above the average height of the normal cat. He made sure his paw-steps were ever so silent, aplcing them where there were no leaves or anything that would cause noise. Soon enough, they arrived in the middle of the forest, and they traveled down into a hole. Shocked, he waited until they all went under. Padding close, he peeked his head over the hole. Gaping, he saw how the whole thing was full of cats. He shivered at the thought of his old past. Suddenly, he heard screeches. Lifting his head as fast as he could, he ran over to investigate. It was a huge fight between a wolf and about four cats. One of them was smaller, but the other three were large and fast. His instincts screamed for him to jump in and kill the beast, but part of him didn't want to go. He decided he would wait to see what one of them did as a black-and-white male got crushed under the wolf.

Cherrymist, once they arrived in camp, dropped off her fish. Once Jadepaw but hers down, she compared them. "Wow. You got the bigger one. Good job! You earned it." Winking to her, she sighed, a yawn escaping her jaws. "Does fighting practice sound good tomorrow?"

Birchpaw frowned. About the what? Deciding it apparently wasn't worth it for him to not say aloud, he grinned. "Well, if he DID cover every inch and centimeter of this territory, he would have TOLD us about this place, wouldn't he?" When Olivepaw asked exactly what this place was, he shrugged. "Ask him. He knows."

Olivepaw gazed around, looking at the odd structures. "Whoa, what is this place?" When Birchpaw told her that Frozenpaw knew, her cheeks heated up. Clearing her throat, she looked at Frozenpaw, but she looked off a lot more than she should for wanting to know information.

  • Soulfoot beamed. Once Sagekit got on, he ventured forward, sniffing around for the small kit. //low muse, tired, I may just make Larkkit on this account

Newtwing dropped off his food, and watched his father with the kits. He smiled softly to himself, his ears twitching. //low muse

  • The devil's got nothing on me, my friend ★

Maplepaw woke up, yawning as warm sunlight filtered through the den walls. Her amber optics would open, scanning the area around her before she would get up and stretch. She looked around camp for Acornfall, as to see if her mentor had anything for her to do.

    ((Kinda rushed))

edit: apparently I forgot to post this =(

  • @MagicalChimera, you posted it earlier in the week, and I responded cx

Acornfall grinned, watching as Maplepaw padded out of the medicine cat den. "Ah, there you are! I didn't see you in there, were you hiding?" She teased, padding over to her apprentice. "Are you ready to learn more today?"

  • — ☆*:・☽ must be love on the brain!

The tom cat nodded slowly as the dressing were applied to his wounds. The hurt a bit, but not as bad as his feelings did. Sighing, the male pushed himself against his mentor, in comfort and in thanks. He hadn't had comfort like this from anyone else, since his mother didn't know how to show her love to him. And his father acted like he didn't live his son at all. He wasn't trying to be a sob story, and surely enough when he got older, he'd probably bottle his emotions a lot more than he did right now.

  • Jadepaw chuckled. "Well, you caught the most. That was the deal." She pushed the large fish to her mentor. "Fighting practice... Sounds great." She inwardly cringed at the thought however.

Frozenpaw looked at Olivepaw with a smile. "Just a little something I found..." His icy blue eyes found hers and he tucked his tail neatly over his front paws.

  • //sorry for my late response! also, let's not forget about the leafbird and newtwing thing @dream marky xD

Alderstar's reddish brown ears pricked and swivelled before his head did. Spotting Wintermist approaching him, the leader cleared his throat and turned around fully, a small smile crossed his face. "Ah, hello Wintermist." Upon hearing his request, Alderstar's brow furrowed in thought for a while before he sighed and nodded. "I am not one to turn down kits in need. You two may adopt them. Good luck." he added hastily upon seeing Sagekit and Nightkit playing with Soulfoot, reminding himself that Wintermist and Eveningrunner already had kits of their own.

Stormwhisker yowled and leaped forward, but after the wolf snapped at Bumbleclaw it took no time in digging its jaws into his leg. "Y-yowch!" he yelped, ripping himself out of the wolf's grasp, leaving his front right leg elevated and bleeding terribly. It hurt so much, Stormwhisker wondered if the attacker had hit the bone.

Honeypaw looked up, a little dizzy from the shock of nearly being attacked. Watching her mentor and the leader's brother fail miserably at saving her father, something propelled her forward. What was it? She didn't know...wait, no. She did know. Honeypaw was acting on impulse - on instinct. The instinct that told her this tom was her father, her family, and she was to save him. With all her might, Honeypaw slammed into the wolf's side. It yelped in surprised and yanked itself up. Dizzy from the impact, it wasn't long before she felt herself scrambling in a tussle with the wolf...it ended with blood running from her head and her laying uselessly at the edge of a river as the wolf got washed away with the current.

Sagekit scrambled up onto Soulfoot's back too, and he let out a mighty gasp. "Nightkit, you're right! I can't wait till I'm a warrior and I'm this tall; I'll be able to see everything!" he squealed, bright blue eyes surveying his newfound surroundings. "Finding Larkkit will be easy-peasy now!" //low muse and somebody needs to play Larkkit.

Eveningrunner nodded and found her tail curling protectively around Hollykit and Creamkit. I sort of feel bad for Sagekit, now. He's got even more sisters than before. This brought an amused smile to her face. Sagekit had never minded being surrounded by she-cats - having two sisters and a mother, not to mention now he had four sisters and a mother. This was probably the reason Wintermist and Sagekit got along a lot better than Eve had expected. They were the only toms of the family, after all.

  • ♥ ― ooc: Ah, no, let us not forget! Also, I hope you don't mind that my little outsider baby helped Honeypaw a bit! [Tbh, an apprentice can't fight off a wolf all by themself.]

Marshfrost gasped for air as the weight of the wolf was taken off of him. Opening his eyes, his vision was blurry, but he saw a small figure fighting the large beast. 'Honeypaw?' He thought before a large, black shape entered in and also fought off the wolf. Slowly, his eyes closed and he slipped into unconsciousness.

    Acornfall is waiting on Mapplepaw.

The shadowy figure ran out of the bushes, his muscles showing underneath his silky pelt. Leaping onto the wolf, he saw as the small cat ran along and also fought the wolf. It snarled at him, and he scratched its eyes when it looked at him. The beast yelped, stumbling towards the river. One last blow from both him and the cat caused him to jump off the wolf as it fell into the river. Going over towards the small cat, he bent his head down to pick her up by the scruff when a figure's shadow stood over his head. Lifting it, he glared as a she-cat snarled at him.

Bumbleclaw approached Marshfrost, making sure he was alright, and Stormwhisker too, before padding over to the stranger. Snarling, she glared back at the tom. "What are you doing here, outsider? State your business!" She would thank him later for the help, but this was more important. "Why do you need to know?" She heard him almost purr, his eyes flashing with secrecy. "This is AdderClan territory, and you have trespassed!" The tom snorted. "One place having this much territory? Reminds me of the hell-hole I lived in when I was younger." The sudden coldness in his voice made her shiver. "Who are you?" "I am Forgotten."

Cherrymist shook her head, unsheathing her claws. Slicing the fish in half, she gave Jadepaw one piece. "Here, let us share instead." Smiling, she bit into the fish. "Alright, cool. And, by the way, I don't like fighting much either." She noticed her apprentice's expression, herself also cringing. "But I think you'll enjoy tomorrow's lesson. And, hey, you shouldn't be eating with your mentor. Go find someone your age to eat with." Purring, she smiled and kept eating.

Birchpaw rolled his eyes at Frozenpaw and Olivepaw. Snapping, he snorted. "Stop flirting and just tell her!" He didn't know his brother would actually never give a direct answer; it was highly unlike him. And, to be honest, he forgot the name of the place he called it and was trying not to embarrass himself.

Olivepaw blushed, looking down. "H-Hey, we aren't flirting! You're the one stalling!" She padded along the stone face, looking at it with interest. //low muse [ The Raven mind PMing me a picture of it so I can put it on the first post?]

  • Wintermist nodded, dipping his head afterwards. "Thank you, Alderstar." Padding back, he smiled at Eveningrunner, then the kits. "They're accepted! Welcome to the Clan, little ones." He nuzzled each of them, smiling as Creamkit purred happily in her sleep.

Newtwing padded over to Leafbird, seeing as she was bored. "Hello, Leafbird. How are you this fine morning?" He asked, looking up at the cave ceilings. 'At least I'm not blind.'

Soulfoot laughed, padding around with the three kits clinging to his pelt. "Larkkit, where did you go?" He asked, sniffing around rocks and small cracks. "Do any of you see her up there?"

  • The motherly instinct inside Berrynose caused her to purr softly in an attempt to comfort the apprentice. She understood the felling of not being able to talk to anyone, sure it may not have been for the same reasons but she used to be just as shy as him. "You know you can talk to me if you'd like. I don't know if you know this but I used to be just as shy as you."

    {ooc: If no one is playing Larkkit still I can play him. Just send me his form or what you want it to be like. :) }
