The ground was rapidly pulling him under and Giovanni had no doubt in his mind that he would be buried underneath the rubble of this catastrophe. The dirt itself was already up to his neck and he could just barely make out the form of Jackdaw twisting to reach for him. But why? If it were him he would have left the manned wolf to sink beneath the crushing earth. With the battle still fresh on his mind he could not help but to think that this had to have been some sort of trick and involuntarily flinched away from Jackdaw's grasp. Surely there was no way he really wanted to save him. Yet, as he heard him ask him to help Arcanepaw he realized that the leader's intentions were pure, although it was far too late. Thankfully Hope had been there to lift the nurse to safety. Snapping his gaze towards Jackdaw the tigerhound pulled his ears back and lurched forward. His intention was to dip his head under the caving sand and use what little super strength he had left to forcefully toss the much lighter male higher up the sinkhole for a chance to be saved. Go, get out of here! Giovanni shouted over the chaos around him. As he continued to sink he saw Ramses fall straight into the center of the hole and his heart clenched within his chest. Ramses! Without hesitation or much thought put into his actions he turned and dove after the direhound, becoming completely swallowed up by the sinkhole.

    he was still screaming, his paws scrabbling onto nothing now. it took him a good ten seconds to realize he was not falling, or desperately trying to hold onto the ground. he was floating. in a blue bubble? arcane glanced at princess hope, smiling as she used her magic. again, he'd have to thank her later, of the others who had saved his hide. he flailed about, trying to guide the magical bubble to the ground, a bit scared of being so high up in the air.

  • [fancypost=bgcolor=;border: 0px solid white; width: 455px; text-align: justify; height: auto;font-size: 8pt; line-height: 122%; margin-top: -2px;]He had no choice as there was nothing he could have done to stop Giovanni from tossing him up into the air and he went flying before he landed harshly on solid ground. He coughed hard and spat out dirt that had tried to plug up his throat. His hacking stopped soon as he quickly forced himself to get up sharply and he moved with a hobbling limp. Something was wrong with his back left leg but he didn't bother worrying about it right now. "Ivylee! Do any of your clanmates manipulate earth?! We could maybe stop it and give them time!" Time they needed it more than anything and he felt a whine pull from his throat. Bravo was buried but he couldn't risk going back in there, he was already drained and he, god he was such a shit leader. He couldn't even save his own. That was when he noticed Cata as well and he hobbled as quick as he could to try and grab on to the tiger and drag him away from the edge of the widening sinkhole. It was slow going but he huffed as he tried his best. "Cata, damn it...."

    so out of curiousity will rescues occur here or in another thread.

    The sink hole rampant, the excitement outside sounded muffled and quiet. With each passing moment the silence grew until he could no longer hear the outside world. Bravo shifted to create a breathing space by his mouth, the pressing weight on all sides making it difficult. Am I going to die here? This is so crappy, excuse me.

  • Himiko had been charging angrily towards the battle as a sinkhole appeared before her. She had stopped in enough time to not fall into its clutches, but watching her clanmates be engulfed was another thing. Noticing Giovanni and Ramses, she dived towards the edge, reaching out a paw in attempt to catch anything or anyone, in hopes she could save atleast someone. Turning round to Ivylee, she gave a panicked frown. "I don't know what I can do! I can't see anything!" the feline exclaimed, trying to see through the dust that was arising from the sinkhole. Himiko kept darting round the edges, eyes flickering over the massive hole in hopes to catch a glint of anyone, frequently crouching down and stretching out her hand in hopes someone would catch it.

    //Cries becahse himiko has no powers and idk how else to help

    The wretched scent of Riverclan and stirred up dust reached the warrior's muzzle and as screaming and desperate cries ensues the female was quick to march towards towards the scene, looking at both the Bloodclan and Ricerclan leader alike before looking down to face the sinkhole with a furrowed gaze and a deep scowl to her wrinkles features. Some dirt and sand would shift at the surface and considering all the names that were called out the woman expected that this had caused many members to be trapped under heaps of dirt and dust both Riverclanners and Bloodclanners alike. With a low growl the Shar Pei circled around the sinkhole to scan the area before she reached over and grabbed the handle of her Tang Dao, pulling out the blade and using it to manipulate the earth that covered each member, attempting to raise it over every body and cast it aside where it would harm no one no more

  • Hope would land a little ways away from the sinkhole attempting to pull Arcanepaw with her, making him land--thus, once he did, Hope would release her grip on him. "Stay back." she ordered, watching as Huan manipulated the Earth, freeing everyone.

    November ran into battle watching out for the large hole that had formed in the ground. He scanned for clanmates who needed assistance. He spotted Bravo, covered in the dirt. He said, "Bravo!.", and dashed towards him ignoring the Riverclanners. He smelted the tom under the deep dirt and began digging.

    /he is buried right?

  • [fancypost=background:; width: 400px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify;]
    Shit. Shit. Shit. The hole had come out of nowhere. Ash, while busy scuffling with a sizable NPC, broke loose of the Riverclanner's old as she saw a familiar face be sucked into the ground. Would Jackdaw think her a traitor? No. Not if she helped everyone she could. Lowering her lengthy tail into the pit, hoping someone could grab it, Ashbringer's gaze befell Arcanepaw, and she even offered her paw out to try and help Radiant pull him upwards as much as possible. "You're not gonna die on me, you proclan weirdo," the Warlord chuckled, grimacing as a small domestic Bloodclanner latched onto her tail desperately and she flung them to safety.

    "Bravo, can you hear me? Are you alright?"

  • [fancypost=bgcolor=;border: 0px solid white; width: 455px; text-align: justify; height: auto;font-size: 8pt; line-height: 122%; margin-top: -2px;]//it's okay if your character can't do much! it's completely find! @Bravo Amoux yeah the rescue should happen in this thread.

    Pain started to lance up his back left leg and he hissed between his teeth. He couldn't really move it since being flung out of the suffocating dirt coffin. He jerked forward then to go and help November since Zhu was keeping the earth stable for right now. As long as they had time then they could get to everyone right? He hoped so. He moved beside the tiger and started digging as well, pushing dirt aside sharply to try and get to Bravo. "Everyone that is out of this shit stay as far away from the edge as possible! Don't make any sudden moves! I don't know how unstable this thing is!"

    There was a subtle shift, well lack of shifting, that brought hope back to the male. Oddly enough, the tom spat in his little bubble to see which way was gravity pulled the salvia and tried digging the opposite way. How else was he to know which way was up and which way was down? Progress was slow, having to stop often to shift the dirt below his footing and random clumps flying into his eyes and mouth was irritating.

    Bravo!
    Bravo can you hear me?

    The frantic digging of large paws and the calls of his clanmates were a welcomed sign, tears welling up in the tom's eyes. Despite feeling a firm smack on his paws as they broke free of the dirt, relief flooded his form. "THANK GOD!" Bravo cried out, on the verge of breaking down upon freeing his head from the earthly tomb. "G-get me out of here, please.." The male begged November, the onset of panic finally breaking free from the initial shock.

    // @JACKDAW Okay, I thought so.
    @november darling Yeah, he's buried.

    Everything grew increasingly blurry and his limbs became uncontrollably shaky. Blood dribbled down his forehead, stinging his wide eyes and falling to the crumbling earth. Things seemed to move like a slow motion action film, he was merely watching each scene unfold. Ringing in his ears drowned out the screams and even temporarily numbed the pain coursing through his body.

    It was only when the leader began to drag him away from the gaping hole that Cataclysm was able to concentrate "Jac--" Everything hurt, so he'd wince. "Thanks," He was still in complete shock over the whole ordeal.

    arcane thumped onto the ground, shuddering yet relieved. how could birds even fly? being in the air was terrifying! forget hoping for wings or a levitation mutation; he wasn't going in the air. ever. he was more than happy to heed his mentor's words, simply staying inert, lying down as if he were sleeping. he was tired already.

    he felt someone else tugging at him, and his sapphire eyes opened to see ashbringer. he smiled awkwardly, his ears flattening a little. "i'm not a weirdo, you...bigger weirdo." he said playfully as he watched her call to other one of her clanmates, and discovered the bloodclanners actually...cooperating? he was still on the ground, blinking with wide eyes. he didn't know that helping was a thing in anticlans.
