AdderClan

Introduction
You are in a forest filled with dandelions and other white flowers. They are up to your stomach, and you are running through them, your laughs caught in the wind. Slowly, the sun sets, and your limbs grow tired, and your mind too. Finding a nice hole in a tree trunk, you curl up inside and fall asleep instantly. The next morning, you wake up with unfamiliar scents filling your nose. Your pelt starts to prickle, and you lift your head. Three cats are outside your den. A black and white tom, an orange and white tabby she-cat, and a brown tabby tom, who was smaller than the others. The little one jumped up and down, his excitement showing, while the others held expressions of no emotion. Maybe the she-cat showed some sympathy, but she was good at hiding it. Standing up slowly, the small tom meowed excitedly, "Let me get 'em! Let me get 'em!" But the female put her paw in front of the small ones chest. "No, Birchpaw, it is up to Marshfrost what we do with this stranger." The one known as Marshfoot, who had been radiating authority, turned towards the she-cat. "Cherrymist, this cat is injured. We shall take them back to camp so they can heal up before they leave; if they want to, that is." Cherrymist nodded, now rounding up Birchpaw. Marshfoot turned towards you, and your heart pounded. "Hello, stranger. Welcome to AdderClan: the Clan of the fierce and brave."

Our History
AdderClan is an old Clan, back from the ancient times of the world. We have lived in this forest for as long as anyone can remember, from all the stories passed down to each generation. We've had many leaders over the past years, but Alderstar has been one of the best so far. His/Her deputy, Marshfoot, will become a great leader and lead us to a new era. But, AdderClan also has had bad times. A leader named Fallenstar once tried to slowly kill us all in our sleep, until StarClan figured out who was killing all these cats. Warning Cottonpetal, who was the deputy of AdderClan at the time, they striped away Fallenstar's lives, and he ran away with only his pride left inside him. Cottonpetal became Cottonstar, and chose Alderstar, who is our current leader, as her deputy. We are now at peace and living in prosperity... For now.

Our Tradtions + Beliefs
We believe in StarClan, a Clan of heavenly cats in the stars who watch over us. The Dark Forest is the dark side of the world, and we stray away from them. They are believed to be vicious and haunt us in our dreams, that's why we have nightmares. They find our weakest point and try to make it weaker. But, StarClan finds our weakest point and makes it stronger.
AdderClan doesn't have many traditions, but we have the Half-Moon, which is when Medicine Cats go to the MoonFall and speak with StarClan. We also have the Full Moon, where we all gather in the center of the camp and just relax the whole day, without any work.

Our Territory + Camp
AdderClan's territory is a beautiful, lush oak forest located in central Tennessee. It has a meadow of white flowers surrounding the forest, and it is close to a few mountains. A lake is located next to the camp.
The main forest is a forest full of dandelions and white flowers. There are many oak trees, so there are a lot of leaves laid all over the floor of the forest. x
The white meadow is a meadow full of all different kinds of white flowers surrounding the oak forest. x
The Ridge-Rock is a rock structure that looks like claw marks in them. Only the apprentices know about it. x
The mountains are right next to the white meadow. x
The lake is right next to AdderClan's camp. x
AdderClan's camp is an underground cave, by a lake and a mountain.
The cave is underground, right under the mountain itself. It provides great protection for the Clan. x
The Tall Rock is where the leader and deputy make announcements and patrols. x

Rules
The Warrior Code: 1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.
10. A gathering of all neighboring Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
16. Medicine cats and medicine cat apprentices may not have mates or kits.

History.
History Description: Marshfrost doesn't have the best history. He never told anyone, but as a kit, he was abused by his mother and father. His father was Fallenstar, the evil leader, and his mother, Coldfeather, wasn't the nicest cat in the world. When he would appear with bruises on his pelt or unexplained injures, he would lie and say he was just clumsy and fell again. But, when he found out his father, who had recently became leader, was killing these cats, he couldn't just let everyone die. In his sleep, he tried and tried to find StarClan. Finally, he went to the MoonFall, and they arrived in his dreams. Telling them of his father's killings, they warned Cottonpetal and she led a rebellion against Fallenstar. Coldfeather went with her mate when he was exiled, only to be killed by him. Marshfrost was given the position of deputy for his bravery against his parents.
Haven't ever really been loved, he never really knew what it was like to love someone. Until he met Sandflower. Sandflower was just a kittypet when he met her, with the name Honey. But he kept having the feeling to visit her, and soon felt the feeling of love. When they found out she was pregnant with his kits, they were overjoyed, and she came to join the Clan. But, she died later on from too much blood-loss. Looking around the Clan, a she-cat named Splashmallow offered to raise the kits. After the kits were grown up and fed, she later died of a disease. Marshfrost is now a loner, and has no one to love but his kits. He doesn't really know how to take care of them, and hopes to find someone else to love.

History.
History Description: Wow, where do I begin? Forgotten was born in England, into a rogue pack called "The Lost Souls." If you couldn't tell by the names of his family, it was a dark, awful place to live in. He was first introduced to killing when he was about three moons. He was forced into becoming an "apprentice" at that age, and his first task was to see if he was strong enough to kill an elder. Scared, he didn't. His father, Unknown, who was training him, decided a good punishment would be to kill the elder in front of him. Scarred, the kit knew that his father would probably kill HIM if he didn't become how his father wanted him to be. Becoming the killing machine out of the family, he always regretted his actions. Once he turned exactly 10 moons, he ran away from the "hell hole." But, his father and his gang were hot on his tail. Catching him, they were almost out of England by then. His father had pinned him to the ground, and his paw was posed for the kill. Suddenly, something rammed into his father. It had been his lover, Memory, who had followed them in case Forgotten got into trouble. Running away, the two had made it to Ireland. Stopping to rest for a few days, they became closer and closer. He was about to ask her to be his mate, but she had drowned trying to swim across the Atlantic Ocean. Depressed, he found his way onto a boat. 10 moons later, he arrived in Boston. Padding around, he kept going until he got to a beautiful place full of mountains, forests, and lakes. It took him 7 moons. He is now in AdderClan territory, scared of what is coming next in his life story.

History Description: Pearl lived with a human family that loved her tremendously, but when she was accidentally bred with a neighboring tom and died giving birth to her kittens her humans didn't know what to do. They tried bottle feeding them but It was easier said then done. After about a week, the humans decided they didn't want to go through the trouble of raising the kits, after all newborn kits are hard to care for if you're not a cat. They tried to give them away but no one else wanted the responsibility either so they put them all in a cardboard box and dropped them off in the forest.

History.
History Description: Alderstar was born into AdderClan, a lot like many others in the Clan. In the same litter as him was his brother, Stormkit. With Kestrelfeather and Stoneface raising the two as they should, both Stormkit and Alderkit became really close brothers and did most everything together. Heatherkit, who was born when the pair turned six moons old, became a third cat to their pair, making it a trio. While Alderpaw and Stormpaw trained hard every day, Heatherkit's mum was busy being a single mother to her, and it then ended up with Kestrelfeather being like a second mother to Heatherkit. Finally, when Heatherkit became Heatherpaw, it was the same day Alderpaw and Stormpaw became Alderwhisper and Stormwhisker. Their suffixes may not have been similar in meaning, but they were in pronunciation to show their close bond. Stoneface was given the chance to train Heatherpaw, and the three grew even closer. Only three moons after the day Heatherpaw became Heatherwind, she admitted her love for Alderwhisper. He was overjoyed and told her he felt the same, but now comes the drama. They'd been mates for about six moons, now being about twenty-one moons. Stormwhisker took his brother aside to 'talk' but instead slashed over his muzzle, leaving a scar that's still there now. He yowled out his jealousy, only for it to turn out he'd developed feelings for the sweet Heatherwind too. Alderwhisper fought back, but in no way that may harm his brother. It was merely self-defense. Around this same time, Fallenstar was attempting to kill cats in their sleep. One of the victims just so happened to be Heatherwind's mother, and she was devastated. Stormwhisker was even more blinded by jealousy and rage when Alderwhisper started spending less time with him and more with Heatherwind to do what seemed like comforting her, but eventually when the pair became a little too happy-go-lucky around their age of thirty moons, it was obvious that wasn't the only reason. Stormwhisker composed himself enough to ask Heatherwind what was going on while Alderwhisper was out hunting with his given apprentice at the time, and then he snapped. Heatherwind, eyes bright and smiling, told him he'd be an uncle. Furious, he excused himself to go and look for Alderwhisper. To put it in short, he found his brother and charged. The two had an unforgettable tussle, and at the end there was dramatic dialogue with Alderwhisper asking Stormwhisker exactly why they had to drift so far apart than how they used to be, but he didn't get any answer. Then Heatherwind went into labour. How Stormwhisker hadn't noticed her growing stomach, nobody knew why. Alderwhisper was whisked into the nursery within moments of arriving, but boy it was far too late by then. Heatherwind had died, and he was left with a kit he didn't know what to do with. Stormwhisker finally came back to his senses upon Heatherwind's death, and when Alderwhisper became busy with his leader duties only mere days later, he became like a second father to the kit, although he truly was just an uncle. Kestrelfeather, only just young enough to feed the kit with the help of herbs, offered to be the kit's foster mother. Alderstar raised the kit on his own other than that, and she now goes by the name Jadepaw.

History.
History Description: Kestrelfeather was born in the middle of a terrible tropical storm. All cats hurled into dens while Larkwing was stuck, screaming in pain as she had her kits. Once all born, she and Rubbleriver, who had been the only other cat besides the other queens with her, named them (in age order from eldest to youngest) Kestrelkit, Thunderkit and Pondkit. From then on, their childhood was pretty easy. Playing amongst themselves and with other kits, listening to the great tales of the elders and wondering what it would be like to be a warrior. A few days before they all turned six moons, their mother got sick. Really sick. She was in the medicine den until six days after they became Kestrelpaw, Thunderpaw and Pondpaw. Then the current medicine cat emerged and sadly informed Rubbleriver that Larkwing had passed away in her sleep. They all then proceeded with the normal ritual - sharing tongues, then those closest to her say a proper goodbye before the burial. Kestrelpaw and her only sister, Pondpaw, stayed by their mother's grave all night. Thunderpaw was out training hard - he'd convinced his mentor he wanted to be strong to protect his father and sisters as they grew older. Pondpaw was devastated. She was an entirely white cat, just like their mother had been, with amber eyes. She'd been the closest. So, Kestrelpaw refused to train just so she could spend time comforting her little sister. Life moves on, I'm afraid, and one day they all got their warrior names. But not before Thunderpaw suffered a terrible injury. Rubbleriver, having gone insane since his mate's death and not understanding that his kits needed him more than ever, attacked Thunderpaw on his and his sisters' last assessment of apprenticeship. His foot was bitten into so hard, his father ripped most of his left paw off. Now all it was was a disgusting, dead hanging stub. He was named Onefoot, not out of spite, but he requested it so he might never forget how he wasn't able to defend himself against his insane father. As a punishment for attacking a member of his own Clan - his son, no less - Rubbleriver was chased out. When he returned, he was killed, even if he insisted he wanted to see his kits one last time before he left for good. In fact, that was probably the reason. Larkwing was a well-respected cat, and keeping her kits safe would have been a great priority. Kestrelfeather and Pondrain got their names, and when Pondrain got her first apprentice, Kestrelfeather met a rather conceited loner, going by the name of Current. Why he was called that, she didn't know, but she kept 'accidentally' (he deliberately tracked her down) bumping into him, and that led to nice long conversations, which led to the pair developing feelings for each other. Knowing her family had always been noble and loyal before Rubbleriver, she didn't want to break any rules and so convinced the current leader at the time (the leader before Fallenstar) to allow Current to join. He/she finally agreed after hours of persuasion, and he was renamed Stoneface due to his dark fur covering his face. Kestrelfeather was overjoyed. It was true he didn't have any AdderClan blood as far as she knew, but he was forest-born and now it was allowed for them to be mates. Being about twenty moons at this point, it was a very young age to get pregnant, but she did. Pondrain spent most of her time hunting and feeding her older sister, trying to be helpful in return for everything Kestrelfeather did during the time they were suffering over Larkwing's death. When Kestrelfeather had her kits, Onefoot had become medicine cat and was midway through teaching when he was called to his sister's aid. Onefoot, Pondrain and Stoneface were all there throughout her birth, and she had two sons. She called them Alderkit and Stormkit. Onefoot died when he tripped and fell into a ditch, hitting his head a little too hard. Pondrain and Kestrelfeather were devastated - he'd sworn to protect them and his nephews as well, regardless of his foot. Kestrelfeather hated losing people - first her mother, then her father, then her brother. And next? Pondrain. Pondrain was killed mercilessly in her third battle as a warrior, and Kestrelfeather made it her personal mission to raise her kits as best she could, never getting ill or going insane like her parents did to ensure these kits led the best lives and didn't end up like her siblings or parents. And what do you know? Her eldest son became leader and her youngest son a noble warrior.

History.
History Description: Honeykit was born to Sandflower and Marshfrost, however her mother died of blood loss. Splashmallow raised them, but her dislike of her father developed on her own. He was cold and emotionless, and although he did show love for his kits he never showed anything to anyone else. This is mostly where Honeypaw got her behaviour from, though her secret like for inflicting pain also developed on its own. First hearing the story of her mother, she had no clue why she was so outraged and stormed out of the area.

History.
History Description: Stoneface was born into a family of four going by the name Current. He had one brother, named Lance. Tally used to be a kittypet, therefore naming Lance after her father, while Current was after Paradox's dead uncle. They were all so happy. Lance and Current were trained to be great rogues, and their rogue group numbers increased when passers-by decided it would be okay to join them. They all agreed, until the day Current met Kestrelfeather. He found himself falling for her hard and fast, despite the she-cat back in his rogue group. One day, he said goodbye to his mother, father, and brother before bed. They were all very confused and deemed him delusional, sending him to their medicine cat of sorts. He 'slept' near said medicine cat, but instead got up in the middle of the night and went to find Kestrelfeather. They spent the night together, then in the morning he waited for hours inside the leaders' den until the leader finally gave in and allowed him to join so he could be with Kestrelfeather. They had kits, raised them and look where they're at now. Proud parents of a leader and a noble warrior.

History Description: Paradox is half-Clan. He was born to a female loner named Pin, who was secretly in love with a WillowClan tom named Spottedwing. When he was only three moons old, they discovered his love and exiled him for breaking the warrior code. He lived with Pin and Paradox, and when Paradox became fifteen moons, he left his parents and went on his own journey. Upon turning nineteen moons, he returned only to see they both had been killed - Spottedwing for being seen again on WillowClan territory, and Pin because a she-cat had loved Spottedwing before his exile and made it her personal mission to eliminate Spottedwing's beloved. Said she-cat was exiled too, of course. Paradox ran.
