Why not? Tea was new, had met barely anyone, and they'd probably appreciate knowing her before she began popping up here and there unannounced. Socialising definitely wasn't her thing, but this was the easiest way to get to know people. Plus, she'd made tea - who didn't like tea? Over a dozen cups half-filled with the hot beverage were set out on a table in the middle of camp, and the rabbit had a few jugs of milk and bowls of sugar here and there too.

Taking a sip of her own cup, the small scientist would thump a foot to draw attention. "Meet and greet! Free tea, too. C'mere and give us your name and stuff." Might as well start. "Name's Tea, and I like... inventing things." That much was true.

  • Ha, another small animal. Shock hadn't realized there were any others, but the rodent felt kinned to Tea already, his fat frame leaping over in bounding leaps. "My name's Shock," the golden pika rumbled, pulling foward his lengthy, cut ears. He was new, having joined just the day prior, but he figured meeting others would turn out to be essential. One couldn't go around camp knowing no one and expecting to be otherwise acceptable. "It's nice to see another little guy around here. What kind of things do you like inventing?"

"Is this a meet and greet or is it lunch time?" Skai would ask, not sounding happy at the idea of such small creatures being a part of the clan. He could make a meal of either of them, so what could they possibly contribute? That was Riverclan though- or any Proclan- taking on the burdens of others.

The black and silver wolf would quickly be nudged in rebuke by his sibling though, who shot him a stern look despite the fact that Skaikrus lips curled back in a snarl of warning at being touched.

"We had a deal." the horned canine replied under his breath, striding ahead as he made his way over to the meet and greet.

[color=teal]"Hey guys." the black and tan dog-hybrid would greet, flashing his own canines in a friendly grin as he took as seat, SKaikru coming up to sit beside him with a slight frown as he pretended to be interested in anything else. [color=teal]"The name's Endgame, and this is Skaikru. We just joined like a week ago or something. It's pretty cool- lots of sun and water. Great vacation stuff."

  • "inventing things?" unknownpaw would ask as she made her way over, forgetting the main purpose of what the event was. honestly though, she never really found names important, they were just something to call someone else, a label. probably why she didn't use her name much, but rather gave it when others asked what they should refer to her by.

  • [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]This was confusing, to say the least, for Rosewater. She had thought that rabbits were food. As in, if she could, the kitten would hunt rabbits, among other small mammals. So, when she heard the rabbit speaking and also having obviously set tea out, Rose was very confused. She recalled her mother saying that some prey creatures were intelligent, while others weren't, even if they were the exact same species. Rosewater decided that was going on right now; the rabbits she hunted, on the rare occasion she did (they were almost her size, after all), were dumb. This one was smart. She could talk, she could make tea, apparently she liked inventing things. Coming to a halt beside Unknownpaw, not because they were best buddies or anything but because that was the RiverClanner nearest to her, she skimmed her pink eyes over the rabbit and the tea one more time before speaking.

"You seem to like making tea, too. Fitting name." The five-month-old said with a nod toward the cups. She had never tasted tea before, and she almost reached out a paw to grab a cup, but then decided against it. Rosewater turned back to the rabbit. [color=#FFFFFF]"I'm Rosewater, a lifeguard and nurse here. I assume you joined recently?" [color=pink]Most meet-and-greet hosts had just joined, but Rosewater wanted to double-check, just to make sure that she hadn't missed a damn bunny running around their camp for a few weeks or something like that. That would've been embarrassing.

Tea would examine the first arrival curiously, ears perked and nose twitching rapidly. She had never seen such a creature. What on earth was it? The long ears suggested rabbit, but she was not aware of rabbits coming in such vibrant colours. Besides, its jagged tail was unlike that of any rabbit's. She noted the clipped ends on the ears, though decided not to ask just yet. He - Shock - had asked a question first. She found his name suiting - it stood out as much as his fur. He also looked like the result of a child struck by lightning at birth.

"Depends on what I can find. Can't make a telescope with pebbles." The rabbit paused, suddenly lost in thought. That would be an interesting design. She doubted there was anything like it currently existing.

"Meet n' greet," Tea would respond to the next - thing - to appear, either missing or ignoring the threat. Had she forgotten to mention that? "You could call it tea time, if you'd like. Have a cup. Heck, have three." It was quite large, as was its horned companion. Two truly intimidating creatures. The clanners just got weirder and weirder. "Hey," she'd respond to the black-and-tan canine. "It's a vacation all right, that's for sure." Skaikru and Endgame. Intimidating names for intimidating creatures. Again, good matches.

"Yeah, just making things. Anything really. I pick up materials everywhere I go, n' see what I can do with it. On that note, if you need something, you can come n' find me." Tea greeted the newcomer with a nod, and gestured to the table. "Here, have a cup- eh, what did you say your name was?"

The next kitten was quite the cutie. Tea loved kids, especially the younger ones, whether she let it on or not. Sweet, innocent and lovable. With her fancy titles that she spouted out, this one seemed to have some bit of responsibility, and a pretty name to go with it. "'Spose it is," she responded with a smile. "Your name's pretty sweet, too. Joined about a day ago, myself."

arc approached the rabbit, curious of the status of her burn. his heels clicked with the ground as he stopped to the familiar rabbit, smiling. "we've met before, i recall. i'm arcanepaw creux." he nodded, feathery tail wagging.

The scent of tea alone was what had drawn Giovanni over towards the crowd, the odd aroma alone being something he had never smelled before. Carefully the massive tigerhound picked his way through the crowd to glance inside of one of the many tiny cups. What is in this stuff? The hybrid asked curiously, lifting his gaze to rest it upon the rather small rabbit before him. His brows came together momentarily as he realized he never gave his name and he allowed his features to relax afterwards. My name is Giovanni by the way. Nice to meet you.

Tea! A name and a drink. Both seemed both nice in this situation, as Mae was feeling a little overwhelmed these days. She padded up beside her boyfriend and settled down at his side, eyeing the tea the female had made before she looked at Tea herself and grinned. "You have a really pretty name. I'm Sylmae, but a lot of people just call me Mae. Or Syl. So I mean, you can call me whatever you'd like. Are you settling into the clan well?" She asked, her voice hopeful. She would hate to know that one of her clan mates was feeling not so welcome here.

The rabbit would greet Arcanepaw with a raised paw. There was somebody she recognised, at least. "I believe we have," she agreed. "Seriously, have some tea. There's loads."

And another large unnatural canine-like creature would approach. RiverClan sure loved these guys. "Just tea. You can put milk or sugar in if you'd prefer." Tea noted the hybrid's confused expression and raised a fictional eyebrow. "Don't tell me you don't know what tea is. It's hot flavoured water. Have some."

"Thanks," the scientist would respond with a smile, as Sylmae arrived. She wasn't sure which nickname she'd use for the husky just yet. "It's lovely here. Everyone's real nice, n' the island is beautiful." That was true, she was enjoying herself here. It would take some getting used to, however. She'd lived alone for a long time, so all this social business was exhausting.
