she appears to be human, though her powers say otherwise. no one actually knows what species she would be considered. most consider her to be a shapeshifter, due to not knowing what else to call her. what is known is that she is part succubus, which results in her actually being much older than she looks.

Abilities:
the succubus part of her, has the ability to manipulate illusions, in which she can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. she can create complex and detailed worlds, as well as being able to alter the way they or the target are perceived. another one of her powers related to that is holographic projection, in which she can create, shape, and manipulate holograms, fully three-dimensional images of the holographic target. As such they are based on sight only and have no effect to other senses or have physical presence, though it is possible for her to use this along with her illusion manipulation, which can make it seem even more realistic, but that takes up a lot of her energy, so she usually doesn't do that.
her main ability, though, is something called 'mythological mimicry'
the general idea of that, is that aimi is able to use the abilities of mythical beings. this is a variation of 'shapeshifting'. aimi is capable of channeling a being's powers or abilities and use them for herself. she is capable of shapeshifting into said creatures, but she often prefers not to unless she believes it to be necessary, as it takes more of her energy than just using the creature's powers/abilities.
for example;; if she were to mimic a wendigo[spirit of winter, the north, coldness, famine, and starvation. often seen as a malevolent, cannibalistic being] she would be able to use all of the abilities of this creature, such as;;
enhanced agility, enhanced bite, enhanced dexterity, enhanced durability, enhanced endurance, enhanced lung capacity, enhanced reflexes, enhanced senses, enhanced speed, enhanced strength, infinite digestive system, matter ingestion, and a regenerative healing factor.
depending on what she mimics, the abilities are almost always different. some have very few, others have more. but once she is finished using her powers, she is often drained of energy, and is really much like a normal human. but, the wendigo isn't the only thing she can mimic. it mostly depends on what she believes would help more in a situation and often times she will take on physical traits of the mythical beings she mimics and may end up looking a bit like it[for example, if she were to take on the traits of a chimera, a physical trait would be she would have wings]. [she can prevent herself from fully shapeshifting, but there are some things she can't control, and this small bit is one of them.] aside from mythical beings, she can't shapeshift into anything other than those type of creatures.

she is very flexible[she's pretty much a contortionist], aimi has become numb to most pain so she rarely feels anything when she gets injured, quick on her feet, magnificent dancer, and an amazing cook [she is hella great wife material aside from her past and personality lmao]

when people get mad at her or yell at her she will shut down, any mention of the scars on her body and she might just shut down [it's an extremely sensitive topic for her], and she holds hella grudges. she has a lot of difficulty with making friends and has severe social anxiety, so in large groups it is very possible she may panic.

Personality:
she doesn't make an effort to talk to others, she doesn't trust anyone, and she does everything she can to avoid interacting with other people[though if someone does talk to her, she doesn't ignore them as that would be quite disrespectful, and aimi isn't that rude]. the reason for this is that, though she is quite beautiful, she can't bear the idea of someone seeing her marred body. she is an athletically built young woman, being lithe and slim. she is a magnificent dancer, and she has amazing control of her body and every move she makes is deliberate. most of the time, people usually avoid talking to her as the few who have got to experience the cynical young woman's wrath, made sure to tell others to avoid her. aimi doesn't really look at herself in a positive light, rather she talks down to herself and, for the lack of a nicer way to put it, aimi hates herself. aimi doesn't want anyone to see her at her worst, and fears they will see her as she sees herself. in truth, aimi is actually very lonely, despite her distancing herself from virtually everything living. and behind the cold, cynical, and emotionless walls she has built, the mask she wears, is actually a kind, loving, and very emotional seventeen-year-old[but actually really old]girl. she genuinely wants to have a close friend, but won't tell anyone and won't make an effort to find someone she can trust wholeheartedly. she is terrified of them abandoning her.
some additional information about aimi: she has scars all over her body, mostly concentrated around her wrists, back, stomach, chest, and thighs. all of this due to severe abuse she received for many, many years where she used to live. the reason being, the people had found out what she was, and rather than killing her they kept her and just used her as a toy and abused her. the scars are all very noticeable, which is why she is so nervous and paranoid about others seeing them, and why she hates to talk about anything relating to them[and people never really bring it up so she's very glad about that.]

her history is a bit of a gruesome one, and kind of depressing one. but before she was here, aimi lived somewhere very far from here and in the long time she was there, she was mistreated and harmed more than anyone should be. due to being alive for as long as she has, for hundreds of years she had to deal with this[which in her opinion was a bit extreme, but due to her supernatural beauty, these people wanted nothing more than to keep her as a toy]. her body was defiled and it is covered with scars, it's like her body was a canvas to them and they used it to paint with their knives, white hot irons, and whips, as well as many other things. and they treated her like a toy, they used her like a toy, they belittled her to the point where it seemed they didn't even acknowledge the fact that aimi was a living being. she didn't get away until a few weeks ago and ended up finding a foster family (of sorts), and a day later she was chosen to go to this academy.
