  • BAdgerkit was gone. Softlight stood at the camp entrance, her own words echoing in her mind "You're a disgrace to his name!" How could she have said such a horrible thing? How could she loose the only reminder she had of the tom, even if he wasnt related to her former lover by blood. How could she be so stupid? Seeming to be in shock, she would just stand there thinking, even as the sun rose and cat awoke. She had yet again lost everyone, pushed them all away with her ambitions and harsh words. She needed to stop, but didn't know how... had she made starclan angry at her yet again?

//NOTE: Badgerkit has already disappeared in the actual timeline, so this takes place before the last meeting and just after sparrowkit and daisykits disappearance. He's actually now Badgerpaw over in Riverclan, but for plot reasons i decided to actually do this right and make sure everyone knows both icly and oocly that he's disapeared.

  • [center][fancypost=background: transparent; width: 50%][align=justify][size=8]Sunlight filtered through the opening to the apprentices' den, a weak wash of brightness illuminating the sleeping quarters belonging to the trainees of the Clan. The increasing luster of the den caused Irispaw to reluctantly open her eyes, waking from a dream where actually knew how to hunt and was excitedly chasing a rabbit. She parted her maw in a yawn as she slowly pushed herself to her paws in her mossy nest, shaking bits of of the dead plant from her jet pelt. After a few swipes from her rosy tongue over her soft fur, Iris exited the den, her golden optics immediately squinting against the brighter ultraviolet rays of the morning sun, prompting her to blink several times in order to adjust to the radiance. She dropped into a low crouch, stretching her spine and pressing belly down to the earth, paws extending in front of her. As she warmed up her muscles, she spotted the deputy seated by the camp entrance out of the corner of her eye. What was she doing there so early?

The apprentice returned to her normal posture and walked over to Softlight, meowing a greeting and seating herself by the she-cat. "Good morning, Softlight. What are you doing here?"

  • A small ginger tom noticed the she near the entrance and tilted his head. The deputy seemed sad, Holly decided to pad over to the she cat and speak with her. Maybe the tom can cheer her up! He looked over to tan she cat with a wide child like smile and soft light in his eyes the glimmered with youthful joy. "Hi Miss! Are you okay? You kind of seem really sad..." He asked worriedly a bit keeping his smile. Smile help cats feel better right? That's what the small ginger tom-kit believed truthfully deep down. A smile can change a life in his pale green eyes and he'll always be there to share one with any cat who needs it!
