▪ APPEARANCE this sour tom, despite possessing a rather unpleasant disposition that he carries at almost at all times, has handsome features shadowing his broad, triangular face. large, round hazel eyes and a small, rosy pink nose are defining characteristics that make up his face. his fur is a muddy hue of brown, sharp stripes of a darker, earthy coloration totaling in a distinct tabby pelt. in greenleaf, that soft brown fur of his is short in length and sleek due to careful grooming; during the leaf-bare, however, his coat thickens to combat the bitter cold. beneath his pelt lies a lean and lithe bodice. long, tall legs branch from underneath him that grants him with a graceful speed when both hunting and fighting. from his paws protrude sharp claws, another feature that assists him in finishing off prey and leaving opponents with considerable wounds.

▪ CURRENT INSPIRATION naming inspo came from me scanning through lists of herbs, found comfrey, which is both one of the most helpful (soothes wounds and mends broken bones) herbs in the original story and a naturally occurring plant along riverbanks; bell came from the wikipedia entry on comfrey - the flowers of this plant are referred to as 'bells' and the name rings nicely. character inspo came from myths of benevolent forest sprites that would guide and heal lost travelers - very airy and ethereal. i don't tend to attach an already existing character from another media as inspiration for mine bc that feels limiting idk
