a little more than i usually write-;; Running up the stairway, Lucina opened the door to her room. Slinging off her backpack and throwing it to her light blue comforter, she dropped in her swivel chair and booted up her desktop computer. She led the mouse cursor clicked on the Eva Online program. After a cinematic of moments in what she assumed would be the main storyline, the main title and logo for Eva Online showed, with tiny letters underneath reading: "out-of-beta release." Lucina had downloaded the game yesterday, hearing from an online friend that the game was having a special lottery and had a decent beta. Putting Eva on windowed mode to boot up Skype, Lucina messaged that said friend. She chuckled at their interaction, and returned to the game. It was a surprise, for sure. She almost screamed in surprised excitement. Pressing the agreeing button to the prompt; she expected the game to continue as normal. What she did not expect was everything turning black, and feeling grass wavering around her in a crisp wind. |
