《 Takeshi hardly remembers his parents, as he was taken at the age of 3. Takeshi was born prematurely and very weak. Both of Takeshi's parents were Shifters, who unfortunately, believed that the SNR Labs were going to help Takeshi. But since Takeshi was so weak and constantly falling ill, the SNR Labs waited until his health was better. (*blah blah backstory* read his bio on the other thread if you wanna hear the full story). When Takeshi was 17, he went with Dru, Micheal, and a few other Shifters to Las Vegas, where he was a bartender at Club Origin, he spent most his time training with Dru in the basement, sometimes going without sleep for several days on end before passing out anywhere he got comfortable. (Which was literally anywhere. On the couch, in his bed, on the floor, sitting on the stairs, laying on top of tables, you name it.) After two years in Vegas, Takeshi and some of the other Shifters moved to Miami to open another branch of the Club, under the name of Legacy 》

《 Takeshi is of Japanese Descent (First of his family to be born in America – California specifically, instead of Eastern Japan). He is prone to anxiety attacks, and suffers from slight paranoia, both of which can cause him to be rash in whatever follows. When his anxiety or paranoia kicks in, he tends to flee rather than fight. It's not that he can't fight, but his instinct in those situations is the flight response. Takeshi is actually a strong fighter, using his quite above average agility to to take down his opponents. He also has a tendency towards getting hurt, so he tries to avoid fighting as to not worry Dru and the others, but if he's backed into a corner or protecting those he cares about, he does not hold back. 》

《 Gikei lived with a group of Shifters in a different city for several years, but no-one knows quite where he's from, and with Gikei's memories prior to then erased by amnesia (mostly. He still remembered some key information about himself), no one really knows what happened and its doubtful that anyone ever will. There's no trace of him before his 11th birthday, the day he was found by a wolf Shifter who took him in. Even though Gin was only a year older than Gikei, he helped him recover, even though Gikei never recovered his memories from the time before Gin found him. A while later, Gin helped another Shifter by the name of Maxwell (an anaconda Shifter), and after that, their group kept growing with Gin as the Leader and Gikei as Second in Command. Six years later, by a twist of fate, Gikei met Winnie. She was a Shifter from a rival group, so their love was forbidden, but they met in secret several times before they decided to leave their groups together. It was hard for Gikei to leave Max and the other Shifters, especially Gin, who had saved his life when no-one else had even bothered to care about the battered 11 year old who was all alone. But he could tell that his future lay with Winnie, wherever that led. Gikei still visits them occasionally, but it's been a while since he last saw them. After leaving, Gikei and Winnie traveled for a bit until they ended up in Miami. Even though he was only 18 at the time, Gikei had a talent for bar-tending and coupled with the fact that he looked older than actually he was, he worked as a bartender for two years at several clubs and beach-side bars before getting a job at Pulse, a popular bar/nightclub located right along Miami Beach. Where for the last three years, he has worked as a bartender and DJ, while occasionally doing some DJ gigs on the side for some of the other popular nightclubs in Miami Beach, where he's a guest DJ "on loan" from Pulse. 》

《 Gikei suffers from Amnesia. It first occurred when he was 11 years old causing him to forget everything but his name, age, birthday, and the fact that he was a cougar Shifter. Occasionally the amnesia affects him even now, so he tends to forget things easily (he appears very scatterbrained at those times). If Gikei gets in a fight and is hit in the head (which is what probably caused the amnesia to appear when he was 11. I know, I'm being so evil to my baby! Poor Gikei and his abusive--no, no, not gonna give it away! ha ha! DRAMA!) and knocked out or given a concussion, it leaves him with temporary amnesia, remembering only a few things (name, age, that he's a Shifter, and who Winnie is) for anywhere from a few hours to a week. So when Gikei fights, he protects his head and tries to finish the fight as quickly as he possibly can, to avoid dealing with the amnesia that follows. 》
