Spotting someone coming towards him within his peripheral vision he turned his head to face Himiko as she sat beside him. A deep sigh exited billowed out from his nostrils as he turned his attention back towards the vast ocean. I did die in the stuff a little while ago. So yes, I most certainly hate water with a passion. He murmured, his simple gaze shifting into more of a glare. He supposed that's what he got for joining a group named riverclan. His attention focused on Ramses as he declared to teach everyone how to swim and he shook his head slowly. They would have to literally drag him into the water to teach him, and even then he would be fighting all the while. He did not want to be within eight feet of any large body of water, ever.

Sylmae glanced around, wondering just where she was going to go. She needed to start exploring. The small female wagged her tail as she pushed forward alone and she sniffed at the air. This place was beautiful and she wanted to explore more and more of it. She wished for someone to share such time with, but for now, she would have to do. Her golden eyes softened as she put a paw into the water and then stepped in, happily letting it move up to her elbows before she settled down and relaxed in the soothing water.

arcane had been traveling at the back of the group. he hated it; he didn't want to leave and though he often said that as if it were no big deal, it was much harder to do it himself. he might be a demon, but his paws still ached. his head throbbed from a lack of sleep - for some reason, exploration made him restless.

so he got to the scene, his eyes widening somewhat in surprise. was this a giant lake? with a giant shore of tan sand? approaching behind sylmae, the dog did not press his mouth to the water or touch it, simply lay down in defeat and watch the waves roll in, a continual tide that calmed the nurse. he watched everyone play in the water, and though he was a riverclanner, he didn't feel like swimming today.

  • Hope had finished drinking the water. She, herself, could swim, but it was a bit uncommon unless you were a mermare...or a Sea Pony. So she would lay down on the beach, watching the others play.

He was welcomed with a rush of fresh energy as the crisp island air cleared his lungs of the stale, swamp atmosphere that'd been cooped up inside of him for so many months. Even though it'd been a mighty long trip to get here, both physically and emotionally, he felt refreshed and new. His legs were obviously aching with exhaustion but the newfound sense of hope that'd come along with a single breath was overcoming that. He felt.. alive.

Despite the new territory being yet, another water based area, Lonewolf had high hopes about his place. There was just something lively and welcoming about this place that made him feel like he was home, home in the sense that he felt he found where he belonged. Perhaps it was a little too exciting for someone such as him, who had a personality and a mindset as dull as watching paint dry. He was especially surrounded by so many bright colours that he was beginning to feel a little overwhelmed - But he wasn't complaining.

Maybe it was the isolation of the island that made him feel at home. Maybe it was the vivid scenery contrasting with the image of himself. There were a lot of possibilities for it but it wasn't the top priority for him right now. He just wanted to get settled in as well as he could early so he didn't have to risk making the same mistake he did last time. That mistake had caused him to involuntarily relive his past sleep issues for months on end. It'd been a nightmare.. But this place gave him hope. A sense of hope he hadn't felt in a long, long time.

"What in StarClan's name are those?" Lonewolf muttered aloud as he wandered up to one of the many surrounding palm trees and stared up. There were some strange, round objects sitting high up in the tree, only just visible behind the large palm leaves. They were brown and had a strange-looking exterior. A big part of Lonewolf was curious to see what they felt like but he wasn't sure how to get one of them down to investigate for himself.

He shot a quick glance to the side to see what his other Clanmates were up to. Ramses was offering to host some swimming lessons while Sylmae was taking some time to herself relax in the water. Arcanepaw and Hope were also taking a break. Himiko and Giovanni were discussing their dislike for water. Rosewater didn't seem to be enjoying herself all that much but he was sure she'd settle just fine. A couple of other unfamiliar faces appeared here and there, all of which were either relaxing as well or checking out the new territory. It was nice watching his Clanmates settle in, regardless if they were objectifying to the new water source or not. Ivylee had led them to a fantastic place and he was happy.
