  • [center][fancypost=border-width=0; width: 450px; line-height: 120%; text-align: justify;]Truth be told, Ivylee had been terrified. She blindly led her clan out of the swamp, having no specific destination which she was heading to. All the little leader had was faith - faith that StarClan would bring RiverClan to some place wonderful. All she had to do was follow her heart, and wherever it took them was where they'd make home out of. But boy, she had not expected them to find someplace as beautiful as where they had ended up.

    One moment they were travelling through forests and mountains, and the next? Suddenly after crossing a bridge over the ocean, the little Samoyed was now placing her paws on the sandy shores of a beach. With a wondrous smile she gleamed up at her surroundings. It was an island... and wow was it gorgeous! Many palm and fruit trees were placed all around, as well as various other types of flora, all of different colors. And the best part of it all... there were rivers! Many small ones, crossing through each other and expanding throughout the entire island. Though of course they were only on a small part of the island now, but Ivylee couldn't wait to explore and see it all.

    "RiverClan... I think we're home now!" Ivy squeaked, her tail wagging uncontrollably as she was in awe. She was so excited, and obviously wasn't hiding it, given the giant smile on her maw. Bouncing up and down, the canine knew that this was the place they were meant to find. It was perfect! StarClan had led them here, and now it was theirs. It was far better than the swamp, that's for sure! Giggling happily, the skipper dove to the ground and began rolling around in the sand. Perhaps she was a little too happy, but hey, she was having the time of her life. She had always dreamt of going to the beach, and now it was part of her home. The feeling of the sand beneath her paws was something she instantly began to love. Oh wow, I could get used to this!

  • Hope trotted along the bridge slowly until her hooves touched sand. "Huh?" she remarked, looking up at the amazing colorful wildlife that stood before her. She blinked. This was their home? It looked...gorgeous. Never in Equestrians had she seen anything like this., never! "Do you hear that, my little ponies? We're home." she breathed, holding a hoof to her heart. It was so majestic.

  • Wrenpaw's eyes widened at the sight, watching Ivylee roll about in the sand and laughing softly. The apprentice decided to join her, striding over and gathering sand in a pile, her ears twitching as she spotted a grab not too far, soon running after it, only for the thing to disappear back in its hole. A purr resonated through the feline, not minding where they considered home, as she'd joined rather recently. Ah well, she supposed.

  • Not having seen water in so long, himiko was releived, looking around to admire their territory. Althought the water was the best part so far, it was also the worst part; himiko's greatest fear was water. Shallow water that she could wade through she could deal with, but a fucking ocean? the leopard could not swim, but she tried not to have a worried expression on her face. The islands seemed safe and plentiful, that was all she could have asked for.

    "There's..there's rivers!" The croc-tailed wplf exclaimed, his eyes wide. The island was beautiful, and he realized it was quite a miracle that the skipper hadn't led them to some other barren land. Tail thumping with excitement, he nudged Wrenpaw gleefully. "Hey, wanna race each other to that stream over there?" The apprentice didn't wait for an answer. He had gills and a crocodile trail and needed to swim. Diving into one of the numerous bodies of water, he let out a howl of pure joy as he dove underneath the surface of the water, tail propelling him fluidly through the liquid.

    [color=#e0e0e0]Similarly to their approach to the lake, Ramses had felt mounting excitement as the weather warmed, the vegetation became greener and more bountiful, and -- most exciting of all -- he could smell salt. He didn't say much as they grew closer to the coastline, but when they came upon the island, and he could see the ocean, he felt as though he were in love. He sniffed the sand, rolled in it quickly once, and watched his Clanmates. They may be excited about the rivers, but Ramses? No, Ramses was on for bigger and better things -- the sea had captured his attention. He was made to be here - he inhaled a lungful of fresh salt air and looked out across the ocean, hesitating only a moment in order to soak it up, before plunging forward. He dove under, surprised by the stinging sensation of the salt against his eyes, but it was nothing that would prevent him from opening them as he churned about for a bit. Eventually he surfaced, streaming water. It would be hard to get him out - everything else was second best.

    sprinting to join ramses, bruce rolled about the in the water, wagging his tail. He had heard of the ocean of course, but he never had to chance to experience it. His dark amber eyes were illuminated by the sun and they gave off a golden shine, and as he exited the sea the water droplets sparkled as he shook his coat dry. "This is amazing!" the damp labrador barked, dripping wet and panting heavily.

  • Her jaws parted to answer her friend before seeing him start to run, the shorter creature sprinting after him with a joyous giggle. Ah, she missed water as well; seeing Croc jump in and swim with no effort really made her want to stop and appreciate the larger being cut through the water. Ah, but she wanted to join him, pouncing into the water and landing with a little splash, sending clear droplets up into the air before they rained down again, and soon the golden-brown she-cat would resurface with the biggest grin on her maw, paddling a bit lamely after him. "Hehe- if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were part fish!" She could hear the others enjoying themselves too, and for the first time, she felt a small lump in her chest. This was home.

    Croc grinned, hearing his friend. "Well, technically I am part crocodile!" He grinned, diving beneath the surface again. His gills flared, allowing him to breath deep within the waves. His friend couldn't follow him to deep, but he would lurch down briefly before resurfacing with a cheerful snort.

    Sylmae padded up beside Ivylee, her eyes shifting over the rivers to study all of them and every part of her wished that Cade and her children were here to see this. Sylmae was more than a little sad at the loss of the bunch of them but she was holding it together the best she could. "It's beautiful, Ivy." Was all Mae could manage to get out as she gazed at the rivers, all the land, the new land. A place to make new memories and start fresh, though she wasn't too keen on the idea of forgetting about her ex-husband just yet. Wherever he was, dead or alive, she hadn't been able to find him and she only wished the best for him. Sylmae settled down and took a deep breath as she did her best to rest her feet, knowing it would soon be time to move and fully explore the territory.

    SKAIKRU & ENDGAME
    [size=8]
    Bloodclan - Males - Extreme - Canines
    Skaikru Speaking/Endgame Speaking

    [font=candara]

    AS one could imagine Skaikru was not a happy camper. The black and grey wolf-hybrid had been on edge to begin with over being dragged to join a proclan, but for the icing on top of the cake that proclan had to be moving the very next day to a new land thanks to a drought. "Endgame sure did his homework on this one."[i] Skaikru thought to himself, the sarcasm heavy in his own thoughts.

    The dog-hybrid and wolf-hybrid walked along side by side toward the middle of the group. Skaikru was purposefully lagging, but since they were a tad bit larger then many of the others that meant their pace was naturally faster even when one of them was being an ass.

    Endgame had been positively [i]cheery since arriving, talking to anyone who cared to stop, lounging in the sun, and generally being the playful and social guy he was. He wasn't bothered in the slightest by the fact that they had to move. Hell, it just meant all of them would be starting over together, which was kind of fun. He had enough enthusiasm for both of them, which was good because it wasn't likely that Skaikru would be relaxing any time soon.

    Both of them were noticing the change in the land around them as they traveled though. The air was getting warming, the ground dryer, and the natural foliage around them was becoming dense and lush. The scent of salt in the air confirmed that they were heading toward the ocean, and soon they were all crossing a bridge over an expanse of clear blue.

    Finally, Ivylee sent out the announcement. This was to be their new home.

    Stepping off the bridge onto the white sand of the island, the pair would give the land around them a good look. They were standing on a sandy white beach that backed into crystal clear waters that would have made any diver envious. The land looked rather open, but very lush and hilly, with a river visible here and there.

    "It's hot here." complained Skaikru.

    "It's better than the swamp, isn't it?" Endgame would ask, playfully kicking some sand toward his brothers feet.

    "I guess." he agreed, glancing around at the Riverclanners. "Sure seems to suit them. Their like a bunch of kids in a candy store."

    Endgame could hear the disapproval in Skaikrus tone, but he only rolled his eyes at his brothers sourness. [color=teal]"Come on, don't be like that. This place is great." he'd say, before heading out toward the ocean.

    He didn't hesitate in splashing in up to his chest, the waters warm enough to be enjoyable but cooler then the hot air they'd been walking through. As Endgame turned back he found Skaikru standing on the shore, just out of reach of the waves lapping at the shoreline.

    [color=teal]"Relax, go have some fun!"

    he'd call back before diving under to soak his head. When he came back up Skaikru was turning away to stalk off down the beach.

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor transparent; border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;line-height:1.5]With a sigh of content, the male flopped unceremoniously onto the sandy shore. His paws hurt like a mother, and he was pretty sure one of them had a few thorns lodged in them. His water had run out a while ago, seeing as he had shared the majority of it with his clanmates on the way. He just wanted to lie down and take a nap--though when didn't he want to? "I could get used to this...this is nice..." he mumbled, finally getting up and looking around, observing their new home. "This place is great, Ivylee," he said, trotting over to the leader with his usual blank expression, but with a good amount of happiness in his voice.

  • [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]"Finally!" Rosewater said loudly, obviously tired. What a walk it had been. She immediately flopped down on the sand- well, not flopped down, because Rose was too sophisticated for that. She slowly lowered herself to the ground and then lied down, feeling the warm sand under her paws and closing her eyes. Then she opened them again, looking around. For the last portion of the walk, she had been staring at her paws as she went along, trying to will herself to keep going, and had hardly noticed the ocean. That was how tired she had been, too tired to hear the waves lapping around them as they walked to the islands over the sand bridge. Now she actually processed that there was a huge as hell body of water around her.

    "What the heck is that thing? That's so much water! Why is it that big?" [color=pink]She jabbed one pink-padded paw accusingly at the ocean, where some of her clanmates were already bobbing around cheerfully. She already was scared of rivers, and now there was this thing that was ten million times the size of RiverClan's old river and, unlike the lake they had stopped at, was moving. She scrambled back onto her haunches, whipping her head around. [color=#FFFFFF]"I mean, this place looks fine otherwise, but- but- is that a huge river or something? A lake?" [color=pink]She frowned, tail puffing up in her alarm. Damn thing, she could never control its puffiness.

    He was grateful that they all finally had some place to stay. But the water, there was way too much water. Everywhere he turned the vast amount of liquid seemed to be lingering on all sides, mocking him. Clearly he was not as happy as say Ivylee or Ramses. The hybrid's chest tightened as his ears fell back, staggering backwards a few steps. He had managed to adjust to the marshy land of the swamp, but this? He doubted he would ever get used to this. No words fell from his lips as he simply gazed around, trying to gain a grip on himself and calm his nerves.

    [center][fancypost= width: 470px;]

  • Himiko noticed Giovanni's worried expression, and thus she padded over to join him, keeping her distance from the salty hell. "Guessing you hate the water as much as I do" the leopardess sighed, taking a seat beside him.

    The sea looked very interesting, and Maverick had to stop himself from diving right into it; he had not yet learned to swim. Instead, he walked up to ramses, tugging at the much taller animal's fur to get his attention. The apprentice was small and easy to miss sometimes. "Can you teach me how to swim one day please?" the apprentice smiled at his clanmate. So far, he loved the new territory; it was warm, sunny and he had lot's of places to explore now.

    [color=#e0e0e0]Eventually, Ramses paddled his way back to shore, where he stood with water streaming off of him. He had half a mind to shake his coat out, but thought his Clanmate's probably would not appreciate that, so he suppressed the instinct with mild difficulty. He glanced amusedly at the small white ball of cotton that was Rosewater. "It's called an ocean, Rosey. Hundreds of thousands of miles of glorious open water. Go on and taste it, it's salty." he said, nudging her with his wet nose. He opened his mouth to say more, but was distracted by Maverick. "'Course I will," he said, puffing out his chest proudly. The young cat's compliment made him feel all inflated and important, and it was common knowledge that Ramses practically fed off of being made to feel important. He couldn't help it - he had a flair for the dramatic and an eye for the spotlight. Couple that with a conflicting sense of occasional humbleness, a large helping of fierce pride, a dash of charm and friendliness, and the tiniest pinch of arrogance, and you had Ramses. He was a simple concoction, but a good one nonetheless. "I'll teach everyone to swim," he said boldly. Was that true? No, there were some he probably couldn't get to swim even if his life depended on it. However as he spoke, a sly grin spread across his maw and he looked evilly at Rosewater. She would not escape his teachings, no.

    [center]

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor transparent; border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;line-height:1.5]Overhearing Ramses say he would teach everyone to swim, a corner of Noct's maw twitched upwards. There was no way the other male could get everyone to swim, no matter how hard he tried. But at the moment, the Kai Ken felt like a celebratory swim was actually in order. Climbing to his paws from where he had laid on the sand, he took off toward the water at top speed, pushing back and pulling his forelegs as he reached the water's edge and shoving his body into the air with his hind legs. He landed a few feet away from the shore, his paws still touching the sandy floor of the water. He waded farther out until his paws no longer touched and began paddling hard to carry himself further out. After glancing back at the RiverClanners back on the beach, he cast his blue gaze to the sun.

    [color=transparent]#chocobros

  • [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]She raised her head as Ramses explained to her what an ocean was, the frown on her face deepening. Miles and miles of angry-looking water? Great. The idea that it was salty wasn't much better, but it made her curious, and so the petite kitten did what Ramses said and gingerly made her way to the water, lapping at it for a moment before she realized it tasted like fucking eww. "Ewww! Why'd you tell me to drink it? It's not just salty, it's gross!" The nurse complained, wandering back over to the rest of her clanmates. She glared at Noctis as he jumped into the water, and was about to reprimand him for the fact that he hadn't checked to see whether or not the spray from his leap would hit her coat (which it hadn't, but Rosewater liked to make a big deal about stuff), when Ramses suggested that he would teach everyone to swim and shot her a wicked look. [color=#FFFFFF]"In your dreams! I'm not getting in there. The river was quite enough, thanks." [color=pink]She scoffed, lying down again on the sand, going back to resting her sore paws.

    croc's gonna be a total asshole now

    Croc surface, his jaw submerged while his nose and eyes were above the water. Much like a crocodile, unsurprisingly. He smirked beneath the gentle waves, his large tail waving back and forth to keep him afloat. Slits of eyes narrowing upon Rosewater, the male would aim to suddenly whip around to face his back to the kit, making sure his large tail sent a decent spray on her pelt. It wouldn't soak her at all — at best, it would dampen the top layer of her fur. It would dry quickly in the sun, and afterwards Crocodilepaw would chuckle and descend underwater so as to avoid getting reprimanded by the child.
