    Hakado finished his room service breakfast and got dressed. Zell shifted into his small form and floated to Hakado's shoulder.
    Hakado grabbed his backpack and left the room.

    Zeron still looked to be pretty curious about it but didn't seem to push it any further as it moved away from Hau.


    Alina was already standing outside of her room, clad in her trainer outfit with her arms crossed against her chest. She was looking out into the parking lot until she heard the door close and turned to look, giving Hakado a small wave before uttering a quiet good morning. With the formalities out of the way, she turned to face the boy completely while glancing between Hakado and Zell, "Shall I fill you in on the plan?"

    Leave it to the incompetence of others to lose a genetic experiment that cost over 50 million dollars to create, and to send the least qualified person to go retrieve it. As brilliant as Alina may be as a scientist, she wouldn't be able to handle it if things were to go south, unlike Hakado. But Diane didn't want for the child to use Zell just yet, rather him wait and find an easier solution that wouldn't cause potential witnesses... Not that Hakado hadn't already done that.


    Sometimes you have to do things yourself in order to have them done right, and that is what Diane was doing as she approached the front door to the island kahuna's house; giving a firm knock on the door before she stood there waiting.


    Thankfully it hadn't been totally fruitless sending Alina here, after all she did get the information that Diane needed to find this place and it gave her a better idea of who lived here. She already knew about Hau from what Alina had told others; the grandson of the kahuna, completed the island challenge, Pokemon Trainer, etcetera, etcetera... She didn't really care who this kid was, all that she knew was that he had her Pokemon and she wanted it back.

    (Well, it doesn't know that they're Diane yet.)


    Zeron made a low hum as it tilted its head at Hau, blinking slowly at the Pokemon Trainer before its attention was brought to the front door, hearing someone knock on it from the other side. It remained where it was for a few seconds as Hau went to see who it was, taking a few steps forward as it stared at the door.

    "Well long time no see!" Hakado smiled smugly. Zell spread across the hallway. "As long as they don't try to separate me from zell i'll go with any plan..."

    Diane didn't greet Hau back when he had answered the door, instead cutting straight to the point as she stared him down and said, "I believe you have my Pokémon."


    Alina nodded before she went onto explain, "In order to get near Zeron we have to gain the boy's trust, otherwise it won't let its guard down."

    "Hmm... that will be tricky, I could pretend to be your nephew and enroll in the same school as him, since zell is genetically modified it can't use any z-moves or mega evolve. At the time of zell's creation I was gravely sick. zell's cell structure was so unstable it couldn't survive on its own, so my father decided to merge zell with my own life force." Hakado showed her what looked like an iv scar on his wrist "A similar researcher 20 years ago was developing the pokemon storage system, he accidentally merged himself with a pokemon. Father tested that same theory to save both of us"

    "No" Diane told him, her sharp gaze boring holes into him; it was clear that she was already irritated but kept her patience nonetheless. "That Pokemon is very important, more than you could ever guess... So I would appreciate it if you allow me and my friends to take it back. It's been gone long enough."


    Zeron straightened itself up as it listened in to conversation going on between Hau and Diane, seeming to be slightly confused with it saw the older woman.


    Alina could only nod as Hakado spoke, though she felt a little uneasy as she listened to the details of how the child was merged with Zell.

    Surprisingly enough, Zeron growled at Hau... Though it came out more like a metallic hum, its vermilion eyes narrowed at him as it seemed to be giving him a disapproving look before turning its attention to Diane. The woman made reaction as it unsheathed its blades slowly, glaring at her intensely a it growled once more.

    Diane tilted her head in a quizzical manner as she fixed Zeron with a cold stare, watching as it moved to place itself between her and Hau. "Aw... You choose to protect him, hm? How pathetically cute." However Diane's demeanor soon changed as she reached for a Poke Ball in her coat, "So this is how it's going to be?"
