  • I'D WISH PLANTLIFE WOULD GROW ALL AROUND ME

Honeydew's ears flicked curiously as he stared at the plastic squares. It was so curious. They were solid on the inside despite the fact they were see through. There had to be some kind of forceful right? The glasses, not that honey knew what those were, had been dropped by the doctor somewhere, the same place our little slime friend curiously picked them up. It's not like they would break them; I don't think they had the arm strength to. They don't have bones, anyways.

The slime monster had been fiddling with them for quite a while. Rubbing and stroking and prodding until bits of their yellow shell had come off. The vision goggles had been covered in a light yellow shell. Dang it that would take forever to get out! Well. Once the doctor found them anyways.

  • Jekyll couldn't find his glasses anywhere which was rather problematic considering he couldn't see much without them. Everything was blurry and he had trouble getting around. He had fallen asleep in the library again and, when he woke up, he couldn't seem to find them anywhere. After wandering about for some time, he returned to the library, squinting at just about everything before noticing Honeydew who appeared even more blobby than usual thanks to his lack of glasses. He would smile and make his way over. "Honeydew, have you seen my glasses? I think I left them here. They're the things that I wear over my eyes," He would state, gesturing to his eyes as he spoke and hoping it would understand.

Glasses? Was.... that... what these were? Honeydew nervously giggled, attempting to dust the residue off of the glass squares. Their muttered a muffled apology before handing them back to the canine. It didn't help one bit that they started to melt themselves due to nervousness. Henry would probably be mad... They didn't want to be yelled at... Please dont be mad...

  • //omg honeydew is so cute my heart

Hearing the other giggle and then seeing them handing something to him (which he couldn't quite make out) was a bit concerning but he would reach forward and take them anyway, quickly realizing that they were his glasses. "Oh, uh, thank you," He'd say. He had noticed the odd residue on them but thought nothing of it until he put them and actually couldn't see anything through the lenses because of it. Quickly he would take them off and try to rub at them to get it out. He didn't blame Honeydew, of course, they had just been curious and he shouldn't have left them out in public like this when they were his only pair. Was it irritating? Sure, but he took total responsibility for this one. "Uh, you don't happen to know how to clean this off, do you?" He would ask, looking towards them with concern.

Honeydew only let out a nervous coo. They frowned at the other and shook their head. No... they didn't have a way to wash it off. Their touch would only make it worse. The slime monster stared down at their feet, deep in though. Maybe water would help? Honey stood up and attempted to gently nudge the doctor in the direction of a small pond. Maybe if they came with they could wash them off.

  • Henry would look up as the slime monster would shake their head. Seeming a bit disheartened, he would nod. "That's all right, I shouldn't have left them out..." He would murmur. However, when they would start nudging him, he was rather confused but would move in the way they were pushing him. He'd then turn his gaze in that direction and notice what looked like a large body of water. "Oh, thank you, that's a good idea," He'd agree, making his way towards the pond before stopping at its edge and reaching down, submerging them and attempting to scrub the slime off.
