The other members of the council nodded along with what he said. "So do we agree to allow the two to marry, but have them convince each kingdom to realize that this is the best situation?" one member asked

"That'll be for the best." He said, getting a couple of nods of agreement.

"Then let's go and telling our ruling" one announced heading back towards the room where the couple was.

Cat looked up when she heard them return and gulped quietly.
"We've talked it about it and disccused the options. You two can marry but on the condition that you convince all of the people that this is a good thing."

Ellyn nodded and gave the council a smile. "I promise by the end of the week we'll convince our people and her people" she swore

"Wonderful. Now Princess, we will decide your father's fate. We do know that he's no longer king so don't worry about that. Go on and be with your wife to be, we have some discussion to do for him."

"Thank you high council. We won't let you down" Ellyn smiled leading her love out of the room. She smiled at her and kissed her from happiness. "They practically said yes" she cheered

"That they did." Cat purrs, kissing Ellyn deeply in joy of how they'll be together.

"But, we still need to convince our people that this will be beneficial to all of them, but we can wait until morning. Would you want to stay here or would you want to return to your home?" Ellyn asked leading her away from the room.

"Naturally I want to stay with you my love. I don't want to separate from you again."

"Then follow me my love" she said leading her towards her room and brought her inside. "You need anything to change into?" she asked

"I'll be fine love." She purred, curling her fingers around some of Ellyn's hair to play with. "I just want to show you how much I love you Ellyn."

Ellyn smiled though she was still blushing from the thought. "Well if it bonds us together and it's what your culture does then I'm fine with it" she said reaching towards Cat's hand and grabbing it.

When the morning came around, Cat woke up to admire her new mark, something like a tattoo, settled on her shoulder that shows that Ellyn is officially her mate in the terms of her culture. Turning herself over, she got to see Ellyn still beside her, allowing the dragoness to admire Ellyn's version of the mark on (insert your choice of location here). "Good morning my love." She whispered in her ear, gently nuzzling the sleeping princess.
