They didn't know how to speak. They knew no social cues of land walkers. They sighed and stared down at their feet. They were screwed.
Honeydew's face dropped at this realization. What if they never fit in? Were they even acccepted in the first place? What if they were breaking a rule they didn't know about? Honey fell back, sitting on the ground and leaning against his hands for leverage. They could feal their breathing rate increase. Was it hot out here or was it just them? Honey grimanced as their yellow slime shell started to melt. Nope... It was them. Honey let out a pathetic cry for help as they curled up into a small ball. A small, melting, slimy, sticky ball.
