    Julius smiled, "Lets" he said, he couldn't keep a smile off his face as he stalked up to the jukebox, bending down and opened the front compartment. It wasn't a bad jukebox, it stood about to the height of Julius's shoulders and surprisingly little colour had faded. "I can see why my father was so interested in them" He said, sticking his hand into the box and twiddiling with a few things, "The amount of different parts in this is incredible!" He said looking up at Carter and smiling. 'We get this back, I can fix it and we'll have music to romantically dance to" He said winking playfully,still staring up at the girl.

    Cassin ignored most of what Benjamin had said. She said nothing until the boy was done.
    "I killed them"
    She said the three words without remorse, her eyes flickering between the others, "If there were any others they would have stepped in when I had shot the two of them" She said, standing up, still holding the ice-pack to her face. She nodded slightly. "Now, Chris, check on the truck now?" She questioned, her mood changing entirely.

    I feel ya. I've been travelling for the past few days and going non stop. Finally have some down times in the mornings and arvo seeing that the hotel I'm staying at has free internet

  • ooc: low muse

    Blair wandered aimlessly, looking for something to do without getting in the way. That was when they saw one a walker trying to get through the perimeter of the camp. They sighed and pulled out a butterfly knife they kept strapped to their person. They walked over to it and stabbed it in the head so it fell limp to the ground. They decided to go on a patrol around the wall and try catching anything else that tried to qander in

  • CARTER

    The short girl blushed, staring down at her feet. "W-we dont have to do that, all we really have to do is cuddle and I'll be okay." she shrugged a bit

  • Julius smiled as he turned back to the jukebox, closing the cabinet and stood up. "Help me carry this out to the truck, get this in, we can check out the lake if you want, go back to camp and relax" He said, resting his arm on the music machine and smiling.

  • CARTER

    Carter nodded and crouched down and began to lift the jukebox from the bottom, nodding at Julius to take the top half. She tossed her bangs out of her face.

  • Julius nodded as Carter took the Lowe half. He then grabbed the top half and lifted.

    Once the box was in the car he nodded "right where now?" He asked Carter smiling.

    //on phone

  • Carter shrugged a bit, before getting into the truck and turning the key over. "Probably back to camp, I don't want to go to the lake without more people to be perfectly honest. I don't want you to get hurt." she said softly and felt her blush heat her cheeks.

  • Julius sighed smiling, "nor would I want you hurt" he said climbing into the truck and closing the door behind him. "I'm just the mechanic anyway, I think someone like you is much more valuable" he said still looking forward, swallowing nervously, in a way regretting what he had said.

    //phone. I'm on a bit of a road trip

  • Carter smiled and blushed a bit, turning towards him and kissing him for a quick second. "My sole purpose is to protect the Mechanics, Weapons techs, and the Medics. I, my friend, and expendable." she gave him a small sad smile and poked his face before driving in the direction of camp.

  • Julius smiled for a moment before it dropped again. "Sometimes I wander if keeping each other is really worth it. If the zombies just keep on coming then there is no hope for human kind. What's the point in living further?" He said now staring out the window as the two drive towards camp.

    Reaching camp he jumped out of the truck, making his way to the back and readying himself to lift the jukebox "we,l'll take it to my tent, it will be our little more thing"

  • Carter shook her head and smiled sadly, "It's worth it, cause there could be a cure. There could be an end to all of this, and you don't wanna miss that if you decide to go." She got out of the truck with him after parking it and began to help lift the jukebox.

  • Once reaching his tent with the jukebox, he lowered it slowly smiling once it was on the ground. "I'll try and get this fixed shortly" He said nodding at her and sitting down on his cot, looking up at Carter. "So" he said, coughing slightly at the awkwardness that practically radiated off of him.

  • wOW OKAY SO WE NEED TO GET THIS THREAD BACK UP AND RUNNING
    I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO IT BUT Y'ALL NEED TO POST I WAS REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS FUCKING THREAD

  • Currently, Carter and Julius have just brought back a jukebox for the camp.
    Cassin got beat up by the lake and she is being a little turd about not making a big deal about it.
    Victor is passed out drunk somewhere.

    Inquisitive eyes peered over the edge of the book that she read for the zillionth time. Her eyes darted in a quick check of her surroundings before the book was deposited into her knapsack and her hand was on her hip. Breathing in and out the colored woman went still on the branch of the tree she resided in, praying as she watched the parasites moving below. She hated these things even with the knowledge of them having been human. She still hated them and maybe that was why she didn't go near the others, the ones who talked too fast to understand. She hated the living because they were human too. She hated everything at this point if time. Abandoned and hurt by everyone she could once trust she was hostile and aggressive.

  • Blair walked the length of the surrounding wall without any more trouble from the zombies, and they didn't see any other survivors outside either. With a bored sigh they went back to their tent that was decked out comfortably with an old mattress on the floor, pillows, comforters, and small odd-and-ends. They then fell back on the mattress, half-zipped the tent, and then tried planning out their next expedition
