    the story
    it's a simple story, really. frecklestar never wanted to be a leader, only a mother. she rose in rank but never managed to find a mate or have children. adderbite was a bad boy who got tired of being seen as just that. the two agreed to be mates to achieve their mutual purposes; frecklestar could have the family she always wanted, and adderbite could have a better reputation. somewhere along the way, the two found love.


    the rules
    - please keep these children in traditional windclan until they're at least warriors!! preferably forever, as they have strong ties, considering their parents positions.
    - please keep these children active! we reserve the right to, and fully intend to, rehome them after a week of inactivity. they're very important to the both of us and we want to keep them around; please don't kill them if you lose interest.

    appearance ; as a kitten, lionskit will be one of the largest in the litter, if not the largest, he will appear a fluffball of ginger with a darker gradient tabby coat and specks of white, more noticeably on his stomach, toes and muzzle area. with crystal blue iris' that fade into a hazel the closer to the pupil, he will also appear to have rather large ears at this stage in life, and thickly furred chest area - giving him the name lionskit. as he gets older, he will not lose the 'mane' that decorates his chest, instead, it will likely grow out further to cover some of his shoulders and cascade down to his stomach. other noticeable aspects will be wisps of fur that tickle the tips of his ears, and the thick, darker hued tail. as an adult, he will be incredibly large in stature, likely outgrowing most of the family, with a muscular frame that only appears larger due to his tick coat - which he will be keen to keep clean, something he didn't care about in kithood.

    persona ; even at birth lionskit personality will shine through. he will be one of the noisest of the bunch, making sure he finds a teat quickly to feed. during kithood, this forward personality will stay. he will coninue to be loud, hard headed and forward in everything he does, though will be protective of his siblings, particularly the smallest. he will also defend his mother and father to his last breath, putting anyone who happens to say something negative about them in their place fairly quickly. his persona will continue to grow throughout apprenticeship, still loud mouthed and work-driven, he will strive to please, his volume only taming once he reaches the age of 12 or so moons. at this time, lionsroar will appear to mature, though will still have a playful side and even have a soft spot for kittens, he will have kept his determination and loyalty from kithood, still defending his family and now the clan with all he has.

    game over ; his attitude during apprenticeship to be the very best may lead him to take on the challenge of climbing one of the few trees in windclan territory, only to get stuck and, due to this, have the embarrassment of having to get some cats to help. at best he will return embarrassed and ashamed, at worst he will injure himself getting down from the tree, possibly fracturing a limb.

    appearance: this sour tom, despite possessing a rather unpleasant disposition that he carries at almost at all times, has handsome features shadowing his broad, triangular face. large, round hazel eyes and a small, rosy pink nose are defining characteristics that make up his face. his fur is a pale hue of ginger, faded stripes of a cream coloration totaling in a subdued tabby pelt. in greenleaf, that soft red fur of his is short in length and sleek due to careful grooming; during the leaf-bare, however, his coat thickens to combat the bitter cold. beneath his pelt lies a lean and lithe bodice. long, tall legs branch from underneath him that grants him with a graceful speed when both hunting and fighting. from his paws protrude sharp claws, another feature that assists him in finishing off prey and leaving opponents with considerable wounds.


    personality: cougar is reserved in the sense that he doesn't normally partake in disclosing his innermost thoughts, the thoughts that either have him in a stressful state of befuddlement or that he firmly believes others have no business in knowing. more superficial thoughts, however, are expressed without much consideration, no matter the situation or the feelings of those around him, leaving clanmates with an unfavorable image of him. he delivers most lines with sourness tainting his voice; cougar finds numerous traits a bother, such as bubbly and extroverted cats and those who spout ridiculous and absurd comments, so he often meets nuisances with unwelcome scorn, making him a challenge for others to befriend. for those cats talented enough to grow close to the bitter tom, he harbors a certain protectiveness over them, wanting to keep them safe from damage, emotional or physical, at all times. to these people, he feels comfortable in sharing his coveted reveries that no other people have the privilege of knowing. also due to the hostile nature of his persona, he is an inadequate communicator when it comes to discussing emotions, whether it be his or another's; such situations leave him feeling awkward and at a loss for any words of advice. despite his inability to handle sentimental situations, cougar is calculative, a substantial strategist, and a quick thinker, thus gifting him with the readiness required for hunting and battle and easily enables him to engage in discussions leaning on the mathematical spectrum.

    Lynxkit is one of three siblings, born to Frecklestar and Adderbite. As she progresses in life, she will be called Lynxpaw, and then Lynxcloud once she becomes a warrior. Lynxkit is a female and goes by female pronouns, but accepts gender neutral pronouns as well. When she is born she will be biromantic heterosexual; yet, due to events that happen as an apprentice, she will become grey-aromantic asexual.


    APPEARANCE
    Most would think she would have the appearance of a lynx; a golden or brown spotted tabby. Contrary to this belief, Lynxkit is a longhair dilute calico with green eyes. The inspiration for her name was surrounded in her rather large but delicate size, as well as the gray and golden-orange hues her pelt contained. The white spotting was just an added bonus, as most leopards have a white underside. Most of her body is white, aside from part of her head, her tail, and spots of her legs. The splashes of her that aren't white consist of mottled dark gray and orange, per the tortoiseshell that the white is masking in areas.


    Cats that do bare white spotting can have blue eyes, unlike cats that don't have white spotting whom can't have blue eyes. Unfortunately, Lynxkit wasn't lucky enough to get the genetic blessing of blue eyes. Instead, she was born with strikingly green eyes, which may remind a cat of the color of oak leaves. Her eyes are round, almost almond-shaped. She has a rosy pink nose, only to match the color of her sandpaper-like tongue. Her face is square-shaped, although the elongated fur on her cheeks may make it seem otherwise.


    Her fur is long, silky, and most definitely fluffy. Most of her weight comes from her fur, as under her pelt she actually has a rather small, lithe frame. With fur included, her paws and ears are likely the smallest parts of her body. Her small paws allow her to be swift and nimble, where areas her small ears do nothing but slightly hinder her hearing. On her paws she has rectractable claws, as all domestic cats do. Leopardkit's claws are jet black, the veins in them not exposed to the eye, unlike cats with pinkish-colored claws.


    PERSONALITY
    Lynxkit will be your typical happy-go-lucky, bubbly, extroverted, and friendly kit. Despite all this, she will be a goody two shoes, unlike most curious children. She will dedicate her life to the warrior code and its values. Going out of camp to explore the territory is a big no no in her world, even though her siblings will likely try to do so. Due to her goody two shoes part of her personality, Lynxkit will probably be bullied and teased a lot, which will lead to self-esteem issues; Lynxkit will still remain extroverted, as if an alter ego to her insecurity and poor confidence in result of bullying.


    Her personality will change and develop as events/plots occur.


    PLOTS
    ★ You are too beautiful
    Life is great; all fun and games, right? Haha, well, you have to have a depressing story here and there to be in contrast with the mary sues. As a child, Lynxkit will be bullied and teased due to being a goody two shoes. This will lead to low self-esteem and poor confidence, even though she will be pretty good at masking it. Then when Lynxkit becomes Lynxpaw, pure tragedy wiggles it's way into her life, only to take the life she once knew over. Lynxpaw falls in love with a handsome tom that doesn't live in WindClan, so of course, it becomes a forbidden relationship. The tom claims to be a part of SkyClan, although in reality, he is a member of BloodClan; but Lynxpaw doesn't know this dire fact. Lynxpaw and the tom (let's call him Dustpaw for now) go on strong for a while, but then it gets to a point where Dustpaw desires something a little more sexual. She doesn't like the idea, as she feels she is too young to be a mother, let alone be so intimate with Dustpaw. Dustpaw looses it, quite literally; he rapes Lynxpaw (which impregnates her), beats her, and blinds her in one eyes. Lynxpaw threatens to "tell" on him, which is when Dustpaw reveals he is actually a BloodClanner (we'll call him Dust now). Dust threatens to tell her whole clan that she fell in love with a BloodClanner, and reminds her that she might be pregnant, which would worsen things. Dust says they have to meet once every week, as he is actually in love with her (and not in a good way), and if she doesn't he will tell.


    ★ Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead
    The only question now is: what happens to someone that has dedicated their life and invested their trust into the warrior code, after they are locked into an abusive cycle? Well, that is what this here plot is about. Lynxpaw soon becomes Lynxcloud, her pregnancy showing clearly now. Lynxcloud will give birth to a litter, only two kits surviving out of six. Lynxcloud just about looses at this point, rushing off as soon as she has licked and warmed up the kits. Where to, one might ask. The following events are not one for the soft-hearted and light-headed. She makes a trip straight to Dust, catching him off guard as he is eating alone in BloodClan territory. Lynxcloud slits his throat, then dumps his body in a canal, so any scent of her on him would be washed away. She then returns home after cleaning herself up, tending to her kits once more. Unfortunately, her kits will become mildly sick because Lynxcloud left them in the first couple hours or so of their lives, but they will end up living.

    APPEARANCE littlekit is not a particularly impressive specimen in terms of size. he's significantly smaller than any of his littermates, earning him the title of runt of the litter. however, while he is considerably lighter than his denmates, his proportions give him an almost bulky build. his fur is a deep cream, hinting at hues of gold and copper much like a particular big cat, which will earn him his stately name later on, at twelve months. its rich colour fades to a milky white at his muzzle, and pale cream at his stomach.


    littlekit's coat is a beautiful thing, no less wonderful in quantity than in quality, like thick, ochre silk that would not be out of place in a king's wardrobe. its embroidery are the faintest of markings, one after the other, sparsely spread stripes of pale brown. his eyes may well be his most striking feature. pale in colour, but all the more precious for it, a blue that is almost white, the colour of frost, and yet any emotion within them seems to intensify tenfold.


    it's not enough for littlekit to have the colours of a lion. he has the features too. though his face is more baby round and less king of the jungle, atop it are two, perfectly rounded ears. he could almost be mistaken for a cub, were it not for his abnormally small size. his fur thickens at the base of his head, darkening to an almost black brown, forming his mane, his crown.

    PERSONALITY littlekit has the appearance of a king, albeit a small one, but he hardly behaves anything like one. being the runt of the litter, he is used to getting the short end of the stick, but he seems to make it an excuse for anything that goes wrong in his life. he seems to be completely oblivious to any system of reward and punishment: the idea that some choices result in a reward, and that some choices deliver consequences. he goes about life with an almost religious apathy, as if the existence of fate would explain why no matter what he does, nothing changes.

    Appearance

    Cloudedkit is a small dilute tortoiseshell, built more for running then for a brute-force fight as the majority of his strong muscle appears to be in his back legs. The fur on his tail is much fluffier than the fur on the rest of his body, it never appears to be smooth but it isn't feathered, just fluffy. His body is covered in splotches of cream and blue, almost like clouds intersecting upon a sky, and it should be noted that the cream sections have faint tabby stripes. Pure white splashes on his legs and his triangular face and the fur around his right eye is completely snowy but quickly transforms back to cream and blue. His dark amber eyes contrast the light, almost pastel colors of his soft, short coat. They are quite large for his face, similar to his large ears. They are often wide in either fear or surprise but occasionally you'll see them narrowed in confusion. His face is completed with lips that are a light pink, similar in color to his paw pads, claws, and nose. Almost lastly, Cloudedkit's posture is atrocious--he never sits up straight, rather he's hunched like a rat. His tail is almost always high, regardless of what the situation's body language calls for. Finally, this kitten speaks in a high voice. It is almost always hushed, but when he speaks loudly it is clear.

    Personality

    Cloudedkit is a strange little cat; mainly, this is because of his fearlessness when it comes to non-social tasks, such as climbing trees, leaving the nursery and even trying to leave camp, eating new things, etc., however, when it comes to social situations he has trouble. He tends to repeat phrases he's picked up and his personality tends to shift based on who he's talking to, to the point where it can become annoying to those who are intolerant to repetition. These phrases are all things that he liked to say because of the way it sounds to him as he sensory seeks specific sounds. He is also very sensitive to touch and this can cause him to retreat and hide when it isn't specifically asked for. While this makes social interactions a lot harder and could put strain on familial relationships this kitten clings on to this hope he will get better and will be able to function as a warrior one day. He is not ambitious and is content as a follower rather than a leader. Cloudedkit is also very gullible, takes things very literally, and has trouble with distinguishing between harmful behavior and harmless behavior, sometimes mixing up the two (i.e. if a friend told him they were being abused he'd either think they're lying or he'd look at all the abuser's behaviors and then think they're all abusive. For example, if the abuser likes frogs he'd suddenly think liking frogs is abusive).


    Additionally, he's going to have developmental issues. With speech he's going to learn words at a slower rate and how to use them properly; with motor functions he's going to be slower to learning hunting positions and will have trouble learning spatial awareness and pinpointing where to pounce. Cloudedkit discriminates against certain textures of food, anything slimy makes him gag and he'll refuse to eat it. This feline is extremely timid but very hard-working. If someone gives him a task he'll try his best to complete it, even if it will hurt him (as long as it doesn't involve being touched).


    When it comes to gender, Cloudedkit doesn't entirely understand it and has his own version of it but doesn't know how to explain it. It's related to his sensory processing and neurodivergency in his mind. Being called a girl confuses him as he can't tell why some equate sex to gender, but he doesn't have panic or anxiety over being misgendered. It just sends him into thinking and trying to understand. (depending on how old these kits start as he will be role-played as a she for a little while until he expresses interest in he/him pronouns and being labeled a male)

    - could possibly have a strained bond with parents depending on how they feel about his sensory issues, gender, and learning disability and be robotizing him
    - could possibly have a strained bond with a mentor for the above issues, they could get frustrated and give up on mentoring him, another reason he could be late to becoming a warrior
    - could possibly have a strained bond with siblings due to lack of interest in playing with them physically
    - could be banned from gatherings due to how he interacts with beings
    - could pick up a collection / hoard of something (dried flowers, rocks, feathers, bones*)

    - *a hoard of bones could get him in trouble with the rest of the clan due to the belief that you should bury your prey's bones out of respect (at least, i think that's a warriors thing? i don't remember if that's 100% canon or not)
    - someone could try to manipulate him to leave the clan while he's still young (i.e. before being a warrior) and he could temporally go with them before realizing he loves his family and his clan and that the being manipulating him has ill intentions (would probably need help with the realization!)

    PHYSICAL fire roars with its blazing brilliance, illuminating tigerkit's physical appearance. he's considered physically impressive in size, since the largest tiger can weigh significantly more than a lion. many will doubt that such a young kit can have such a muscular and broad build, many mistaking him for older than he is. he is rather proportionate in features to his size, but having larger paws and having ears that faintly resemble those of a tiger's, with it's slight roundness to the tips, but only slight, and the ears' wider base. his fur is a deep burnt orange, resembling a dying fire futilely throwing sparks in the air, with hints of copper, that shines a firey brilliance when the sun hits it just right. its rich color will stay with him throughout his years of experience, never dying like an ever burning flame. lean proportions and a muscular physique will make him rather beautiful; along with long and narrow features, almost feminine in appearance; will earn him the prefix of -face. he will be rather oblivious to his beauty, earning him an adjective that everyone associates with him: humble beauty.


    tigerkit's coat is something that one would not gawk at in aversion, but rather to gaze at in desire. his thick coat is the wings on a monarch butterfly's back, the royal butterfly would be unrecognizable without it's signature orange wings and dark markings, and such is tigerkit's coat. the veins on such a royal butterfly are the faint markings of tigerkit's coat, even throughout the coat and a shade darker in color. copper, a deep autumn leaf; the color of his eyes capture the essence of the season of fall itself; with swirls of honey and merigold to give his eyes a softer touch to them and have a slight cool tint to them, to emit the idea that he is not warm, and to intimidate.
