Strange Scents
You smell a lot of scents, some cat, some twoleg, some of other creatures. You've been alone for some time now, maybe you'd prefer to stay alone? Or maybe you'd like to join a group of other cats? It doesn't matter, you need to make your choice soon, your coming up on this group of cats, fast. As you peer over the bushes, you see a bunch of cats living practically in the back yard of a twoleg nest, but yet among the wildlife of other creatures. Staying with them suddenly doesn't seem too bad....
About Birdclan
Birdclan, known for their great affinity for hunting birds, isn't really a clan at all, but a well organized group of loners. Birdclan is a group of cats living in the backyard of an elderly twoleg. This twoleg leaves the cats alone for the most part and feeds the wildlife that may venture into her backyard, which is heavy with trees, bushes, flowers, and old unused sheds.
The Birdclan camp lies in a giant bush ticket, where a large bush grew in a tunnel like shape. In the Tunnelbush, dens were built to form places for each of the groups members to sleep. However, the queens and kits stay in a nearby little broken down shack where the heat is kept better in the winter time. The leader's den is beneath the porch of the twoleg nest.
In the orchard like back yard, the cats of Birdclan remain well fed as their is a constant supply of prey running through the forests. The prey includes several kinds of birds, mice, shrews, moles, squirrels, and wild rabbits. There are also other animals that live nearby that mean no harm to cats, such as deer and groundhogs that come in to feed. However, while the place is an ideal place for a clan of cats to live, they have to deal with weasels, racoons, opossums, foxes, and the occasional coyote as natural enemies. Luckily for the cats, these predators seem to stay away from buildings, and if the camp seems to be under threat the cats will crowd into the nursery for protection.
The perimeter of the area where the cats mainly live is surrounded by large flowering bushes. Just west of the camp is a thicket of pine trees where a majority of the area's squirrels and birds live. To the east is an open area, but it lies right at the entrance of a swampy forest. To the north is a large field which also lies near the entrance of a vast forest. To the south of the camp is a thunder path. Though rarely used, animals from the twoleg farm on the other side of the thunder path have been killed when crossing. On both the twoleg farm and in the house within Birdclan territory there is a fair amount of kittypets, but they do not interact with the cats of Birdclan very much.
Rules of Birdclan
The Rules are Simple: Play how you'd want others to play. If you're going to powerplay and be rude, you're going to have to pay the consequences. After three times of displaying bad behavior you will be booted from the thread.
If an enemy clan, a group of rogues, loners, or whatever wants to invade bird clanplease notify me (SaphireKat) before hand!
If you play a high position, please be very active! At least a post every three days if that's reasonable. For other positions, post once a week please!
Keep in mind that this is not a "proper" clan. They do not uphold all of the normal Warrior beliefs! I plan to go over this eventually!
