  • Lafayette looked over at John and Alex. Why was his cousin so entrapped with this tiny man? They always fought. He looked at Thomas. Alexander would never date him.
Herc wish he could text Lafayette and ask what was wrong, he couldn't because Aaron was using his phone for navigation.

  • The car abruptly turned as its made its way towards what appeared to be some picture out of an American Gothic scene. Every chain of fast food and gas station was piled here with a few Ma and Pa shops scattered inbetween for good measure. Burr pulled into a gas station. He didn't need the gas but he needed peace.
"Alright, everyone," he said, sounding very much like an irritated teacher. "This is where you can go to use the restroom or be snacks."
Thomas, who was the first ro throw open his door and jump out, scoffed, "There all probably stale."

  • Lafayette felt like god was going to send him to hell for this, but he shook Alex's shoulder to wake him up. Alex's eyes slowly opened and he yawned, stretching his arms.
    "What's happen' " He slurred.

  • John peered his eyes open. He had felt that they had stopped moving and that Alex was awake. Instinctively, he clung tighter to Alexander as Lafayette shook him.
"Why did we stop?" He asked groggily as he could finally decipher more sounds.

  • Laurens was no longer able to hold onto Hamilton as soon as that was mentioned. His boyfriend easily forced himself out of his arms and went to get something to eat.

  • As he shot out of the car he turned around.
"John! I'm going to buy sooo many snacks!!"
Hamilton's eyes practically gleamed and everyone around him could sense his joy.

  • Once inside the store, which smelled like cigarette butts, Herc had taken Lafayette to one of the further corners and laughed at several of the magazines put on display. Aaron took one look at the place and decided that it was clean enough, so he went to the restroom. Thomas was examing the snacks and it was very clear that he was disappointed with them.
Laurens easily found Alexander checking out the more sour of snacks.

  • (my type of man)
Alex wasn't sure which to pick. The sour patch kids, trollis, or some generic brand of sour snacks. They even had sour worms that were multi-colored to resemble different flavours. A little part of him wanted to buy all of the sour delicacies.
Lafayette grabbed a magazine and striked the same pose the guy on the cover was. He giggled when Herc bursted out laughing.

  • Their minds somewhat synchronized after several months of dating, John called out, "I don't think we have enough money for all of that, Alex."

  • Alex cheeks went red, "Darn, my plan was foiled. " He said as he snapped his fingers.
He grabbed the sour gummy worms and nodded his head in the final decision.
"You ok with these? " He asked John.

  • "Of course Alex!" John declared as he picked up his own share of candy. He was more of a chocolate lover himself, but occasionally he would stray to other things. Such as sour candy that he could share with Alexander.
"Are you fine with these?" He asked, holding up some Sour Patch Kids.

  • Thomas had noticed this and rolled his eyes. They were too much for their own good.
The man behind the counter seemed tired, but gladly rang up the items that these two college students had decided to get. It was money and he did not care if they seemed a little too pleased with sugared treats.

  • The clerk decided to ignore as the taller boy swiped the paid for items. They quickly left the store with a way too giddy attitude. Both Thomas and the clerk scoffed, but for completely different reasons.

  • Alexander opened the door to Burr's car and squirmed back into his seat. He looked at John and wondered if they would ever get married, considering John was one of his longest relationships and the fact he didn't feel irritated the slightest while with most partners he wanted to skin them alive at this point.

  • (Damn, Alex! Why are you so aggressive?)
It seemed likely as John went in for a gentle kiss. There was no one else around, so why should they bother to be modest.

  • (Alex jus t really likes getting his point across)
Alex weaved a hand through John's hair, he kissed back. His eyes fluttered closed and he enjoyed the moment. John's lips tasted sweet on his.

  • John pressed himself more into Alex. Had he known they were sharing the car with four other people, he would have suggested a round of car sex. However, he knew better and pulled back to admire the flushed look painted on Alexander's face.
