  • [size=8][font='Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif']muse a (my character) is a witch, and they are top of their class at a witch academy. they excel at everything they do, and many admire them. muse b (your character) can't be described the same. muse b isn't good at magic, their spells always backfiring and causing mayhem. muse b admires muse a as everyone else does, but has had a crush on them since they were younger. one day in one of their classes, a partner project about magical history is announced. the teacher then picks partners and puts muse a and muse b together. muse b is as happy as can be, yet muse a is far from it. will these two get along and become friends, maybe something more?

    MORE
HISTORY;; Before Griffin was born, his mother was a very intelligent secretary whom worked for his father, a well-known wizard businessman. Griffin's mother and father, Bella and Alexander, worked together since almost the very start. They were never separated, and out of all the people he worked with or spent time with, Beatrix was the only one Alexander could trust. So, after yet another horrible verbal fight with his wife, Dionysia , Alexander drank his stress away while venting to Bella. One thing led to another, and they confessed their love to each other.
Since then, everything went to the dogs.
Bea became pregnant with Alexander's child and when Dionysia found out, she immediately went to the press. Alexander's image was ruined as it was discovered he not only had an affair, but with a non-spellcaster. No one wanted to work with Alexander, and he was forced into early retirement. But unfortunately, this didn't leave any room to finally be with Bea, as soon she began receiving death threats and was almost stabbed while on her way to the subway. With a heavy heart, Alex was forced to part ways with Dia, for her safety as well as their unborn son.

Three months later, with little money and in hiding, Bea gave birth to her little boy, Griffin, in cousin's small clinic. He was a small, sickly child, and showed little signs of surviving if not for medical help. Thus, Bea was forced under her cousin's urging to go to a real hospital. There, she died of unknown causes. However, before Griffin could be put in foster care, Dionysia was informed of Bea's appearance in the hospital and swooped in immediately. Like a gender-bent version of Cinderella, she adopted Griffin to not only boost her press image as being 'forgiving and oh-so-motherly' but to also get herself some cheap labor working as well as a potential meal-ticket should Griffin grow to be as powerful of a wizard as Alexander.

So, even with his many lacking qualities in Witchery, Dia pulled strings and practically shoved her unwanted charge into the prestigious Witch Academy.

LIKES;; Spending time with others, reading, good vibes, pretty much everything fluffy, cute, or otherwise
DISLIKES;; Hates pizza. No explanation, he just cant stand being in the same room as the favorite food.
HOBBIES;; Talking, knitting (when he's really bored or exited) , practicing spells in a forest near the school
    INTERESTS;; Magic, friend-making, puns
OTHER;; His spells tend to always have the opposite effect - love spells become hate spells, anti-gravity spells crushes everything, trying to turn someone into a toad instead either makes Finn the frog or turns the person into a raging bear etc.

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;][size=8][font='Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif'][color=#ffffff]Lance, as normal, had been awake long before classes started. He always woke up early to sneak out of his dorm and practice magic for an hour or two, depending on how he was feeling that morning. Today Lance had been practicing his transformation spells. He personally felt he had been getting a bit rusty, so decided to work a bit with them. He transformed frogs into cats and other things, stopping when he almost reversed the spell on himself.

After returning to his dorm, he did his morning routine. This included cleaning himself, doing his hair, and things like that. He didn't have to worry about how loud he was being, as he had a one person dorm. The school allowed the top 10 students of each year to have single dorms as a reward for their hard work and effort. Lance, of course, was number one of the sixth years. He had been in the top five since he first joined the school, his fourth year being his first time in spot one.

The first bell of the morning rang, a signal for Lance to make his way to the dining room. After grabbing his things, the male slipped on his shoes and walked out of the door of his dorm. He made sure to use a lock spell on his dorm, as he didn't want anyone to sneak in and take anything. It's happened before, and when he found out why they took it traumatized him a bit. The memory peeked into his brain, causing him to shudder and quickly push the thought away.

Most people would kill to be where he was, but it wasn't all that its made up to be honestly. He dealt with harsh rivalry, people disliking him and people having unattainable expectations for him. Of course, he never let any of this drag him down, as he was constantly reminded of how loved his is by everyone who passes. People would pay to be his friend, or even just sit with him for a day. Lance smirked at the thought as he entered the large dining room. He made his way to his spot in the room, waiting on his few friends to join him.

Griffin's morning routine was a doozy indeed.
First, he'd take a shower, (his roommate splashed his face with water)
then he'd brush his teeth (he was locked in the bathroom while his roommate called over his friends)
after that he'd put on he clothes (roomate's buddies tore off his jammies and threw him outside to change in the middle of the hall)
and finally, go on a nice morning jog. (bunch of other kids shot spells at him while he fled)
All the while though he smiled with warm patience.
Breathing heavy from the running, Griffin wiped the faint sheen of sweat from his brow before looking around. Picking through the bushes that grew at the entrance of the dorm, the boy let out a happy 'yes!' when he found his book-bag. He knew stashing it here would be a good idea~ He felt a pinch of guilt at having hid his stuff from his roommate, but once in a while Josh - his roommate - would throw his bag into a pond, and Griffin was still overdue on the last five textbooks he had to replace.
But no worries, Griffin was sure Josh didn't mean him harm. He was just shy, like Finn, and wanted to impress his friends - whom in turn were the same. Better it be Finn getting the end of the scrubby sponge than Josh, or someone else.
    Besides!
Smiling happily as he heard the first morning bell ring - the call for breakfast - Griffin quickened his pace towards the dining hall. Soon, he'd learn to master his skills, and he'd be a great Wizard - like his father had been. Then he could help tutor Josh and his friends, and they'd all be the best of pals~! First, though, he himself needed a teacher, and he knew the perfect guy for the job.
The great, the magnificent, the top-of-the-class honor student YES YOU GUESSED IT-
"Lance! Lance - HI! Hiyah Lance!" Griffin came into the large dining hall yipping like a too-eager puppy as he bounced over to the king of Witch Academy. Finn knew full well that people would probably kill each other to have the chance to sit beside him, but Finn was unperturbed. Plopping down beside the Elite student as if they were life-long BFFs, Griffin smiled happily at the other boy, "Did you get the note I taped to your door? The one asking for what time your available to help tutor me? Probably not, since I found it burning in a trashcan...that was also on fire..." he wasn't sure if Lance had done that himself or someone else, but either way Finn quickly perked up, "But anyway its fine - better to plan face-to-face, right? So what do'yah say? Maybe this afternoon? Or later, after classes? Oh -oh- maybe right now? Ive got some textbooks with me and a couple of questions I need help with-" his rapid-fire babbling was halted only momentarily as he shuffled through his bag, pulled out a heavy notebook and a even heavier textbook (which showed signs of having been slightly waterlogged) and dumped them on the dining table. Turning back to lance with round, puppy-dog eyes, Finn chirped, "Wanna get started?"

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;][size=8][font='Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif']Lance had pulled out a small book and was reading it in the peace before he came in. He enjoyed reading in his spare time when he couldn't do much else. Of course, he tried his best to practice magic when he could, but reading was a good time waster as well. He currently was reading some kind of history novel, a genre he reads often. He did have to admit, he was a huge history nerd. That was something he can't deny.

His peace and quiet was disturbed as the other male, who was quite loud, barged into the dining hall. Lance gave a large sigh, slipping a bookmark into his book before he closed it. He knew exactly who it was without even looking at them. He set the book down on the table, quite agitated. He watched as the other continued to yap, sitting right next to him. He moved over a bit, not wanting to be so close to the other. Man, his day started off so good too.

"Griffin, I have told you many times to go to the administer of tutoring so he can assign you a mentor he feels will help you the best. He's here for a reason you know." He reminded him, his patience dwindling the more he spoke. "It's not like I don't want to help you," He lied through his teeth, really not wanting to help the other.[color=#A62A2A] "It's just that I already have two other students I'm tutoring, and I have to have some time to study or even have some form of a life. Do you understand?"
