IC: At Luna's smile Darien couldn't help but feel his mood lighten a few tones as he kissed the top of her head. "Good to hear." Pulling away again he let his hand slide down her shoulder and arm to hold her hand, a nod of his head indicating the right way to go. "Well, as fun as all that just was, next up is actually quite ordinary paperwork. I have an abundance of letters I just can't postpone anymore, and I am sure Paws would appreciate it if you could help him with his own paperwork. I don't have the time to hound him on the issue right now, but he will newer get it done on his own." He tried explaining as they walked, suddenly coming to a halt as he seemed to remember something vital. "Though, hold on. You don't read Cruor, do you birdie?"

Luna's feet jerked to a stop in time with him, her fingers intertwining with his hand. She rubbed her thumb across the back side of his larger hand as a blank look filled her face, answering his question before she even shook her head gently. "I'm going to go with no, considering I've never even heard of that name before.. Is it some type of vampire dead writing thing? Like how a few people still speak Latin?" she asked, curious. Her face had a few frown lines because she felt bad for not being able to help out now. Its as if not knowing vampire language was a bad thing somehow.

IC: Chuckling at her adorably clueless expression Darien shock his head while brushing trough he hair with his free hand. "Well, I wouldn't say it's a dead language, but I suppose it's not exactly common among humans, huh? It's not spoken in casual speak, but we still use the writing for everything, and any meeting with other clans is spoken in Cruor. Sort of like English for you, I guess?" He tried explaining, apparently a bit unsure of how to go about it. Letting her hair alone he squeezed her hand and continued walking. "No matter, I just have to teach you how it works is all. In the meantime I am sure we can figure out some way for you to still be helpful."

Her mind wandered apart from their conversation as she thought about the magnificent place she was walking through. Who would have built such a place, anyway? Was it him, the man standing infront of her? Suddenly, an important though crossed Luna's mind that made her tasty blood rush to her face, "Darien.. How old ARE you?" She didn't understand the whole aging process quite yet either..

IC: Stopping again Darien turned back to Luna with an amused expression on his face. "I just turned 25 this year, it's not like we have a lifespan that different from you humans." Cupping her head in hi hand the boy couldn't help but smile at how adorable she looked while blushing, his sharp canines looking strangely at home next to his otherwise human teeth. "Why? Were you thinking I was a few centuries old now or something else equally silly?"

Of course that"s exactly what the human girl had been thinking, it made sense for her to of thought something like that with the vampire culture that people were usually exposed to in her world. In time, of course she would learn, but it was still embarrassing like this. "It doesn't make sense anyway.. Who built this place, then?"

IC: Darien put his hands in his pockets while leaning against the corridor wall, in no real hurry to go anywhere. "My ancestors did, of course. It's not that different from how your ancestors built the human city up above, is it? This place is just a lot smaller than your cities is all." The vampire explained with a shrug. "We might be a small clan at the moment, sure, but we have still been here for a few generations now. Why do you ask?"

Standing there, breathing in the scent of his cologne in the hall way as the world continued to be surpisin and weird around them, she felt safe and at home. Guess I'll live." A mischievous glint in his grey eyes Darien tilted Lunas head up for a kiss while trailing one finger along her jawbone teasingly. Stopping just before their lips actually connected to pull away before she could close the distance herself. "Though, since you asked, how old are you? If I remember correctly you claimed it was none of my business last time I asked, changed your mind by now perhaps?" He wondered, tone light to make it clear he was only playing with her.

You were just about to.. Hmph!" Crossing her arms she looked at the floor and jokingly kicked his shoe, "Im 23, you stupid teasing bully.." She grumbled the last bit, mostly joking as she was left wanting. Looking up at him she pursed her lips and half whined, "Do I get my kiss now, or are you going to interrogate me?"

Luna was tempted to mess with him for a moment, to pull away like he did. Instead her want to touch his lips overpowered her usual playful mind as she wraped her arms around his neck and closed the space between their lips, pushing aganist him happily and a bit suggestively to anyone who might be looking. Everytime they kissed it took her breath away, just like now, as she nibbled on his lip playfully to get him to open his mouth a bit. She hadn't exactly kissed much before but felt like an expect when she connected with him. Pulling away slightly she blushed and mumbled something about him cooperating.

IC: Flushing red once she started nibbling on his lip Darien just buried his head in her hair afterwards. He wouldn't exactly go as far as to say he was an expert in this kind of thing, but he did have some experience, so how come he always still blushed so easily? Blowing hot air into Lunas hair to conceal a sigh he smiled. "Oh, I can cooperate, when I want to." Then moved to scoop her up bridal style in his arms, planting a quick peck on her forehead. "I just don't always want to."

Luna gave a weak laugh at him, feeling weak in her legs from him. He had this swooning effect on her that she was begining to hate immensely. Once he scooped her into his arms she gave a squeak and wrapped her arms around him even tighter, blushing and sticking her tounge out at him. "I guess you can say that you really do tend to sweep me right off my feet." she saif jokingly, her voice tinted with laughter and fun.

The pattern of his feet stepping almost musically kept her calm and she closed her eyes for a brief moment to enjoy something she had never felt before. A light hum came from her out of content and joy, "Mm.. Bully."

IC: Looking down at Luna while walking Darien raised an eyebrow while grinning. "What, is that all? Not going to demand I let go off you this time around?" He asked innocently, remembering how furious she had been with him the last time he had carried her like this. She had calmed down remarkably fast though, what a "strange girl..." He mushed, speaking the last part out loud absentmindedly while coming to a halt next to a door. "Well, end of the ride. We reached the library, so I am going to need my arms back now." He said while using his back to push open the door, reveling a pretty average room, just filled from head to toe with shelves and books. Some looked downright ancient, yet others couldn't be more than a few days old, and then there was everything in between.
