Nick went to polish his staff to waste time until Lance and Eve joined them

Serena watched him quietly.
Eve kissed him softly and sighed.

Nick smiled at her as he carefully cleaned his staff, the runes glowing brighter as he did so
Lance dressed and led the way to the living room

Serena smiled back.
Eve got dressed and followed him.
Aleera was sitting on the couch deep in thought.

Nick hummed as he worked, his staff shooting off silver sparks once and a while
Lance took Eve's hand as they went to join the others

Serena silently kept tabs on the crazy madman.
Aleera stood up when she saw Lance and Eve.
Eve smiled at her sister and then looked up at Lance.

Nick told them what they had found out
Lance set a hand on Aleera's shoulder. "So what now?"

"We have to stop him before he gets to someone else." Serena said and then frowned. "He's just found his next target." she added.
"That man is going to wipe out any thing that is not fully human." Aleera stated sadly as Eve nodded.

"So where is he?" Nick asked
"well make sure he cant harm anyone ever again" Lance said

Serena bit her lip and said, "He's in a small town named Moonglen."
Aleera and Eve nodded.

"Moonglen, that name sounds familiar" Lance said

"Moonglen is where our father was originally from. It's a town full of people like all of us." Eve said.

"I see" Lance replied thoughtfully, then his face fell "Oh no"

"What? What is it?" Aleera asked worriedly.

"one of my workshops is near Moonglen" Lance said "Specifically the one where i cast the pendant"

Eve looked at Lance and frowned. "Why would he go there?" She asked.

"im not sure, but there are lingering magics there that could be used to remake the pendant" Lance said

"And a way to control the existing necklace." Serena murmured.
Aleera and Eve looked at Lance worriedly.

"yes, though that would take quite a bit of power to achieve " Lance said

“True but he’s also not as dumb as he seems. He’ll figure it out and when he does....” Serena trailed off.
“The girls will be in danger.” Eve and Aleera said together.
