"What's that?" Keegan asked as he rubbed his head.
"It's a safe place." Rayla assured them all.
"Are you sure?" Eliza asked.

"It's the realm of the Phoenix, no living being besides one can get in without a spell gifted to those blessed by the Phoenix, Lance is one of the only three i know who has received such knowledge" Nick said

Rayla hugged Ezekiel and Eliza as she said, "If it wasn't for that place I would not be here. We'll be safe there."
Sage and Jaren woke up as well.
"Is Lance ready for them?" Eve asked sadly.

"Yeah, he's conversing with the Great Phoenix now" Nick said

Sage picked Jaden up and Rayla took Ezekiel’s hand and Eliza’s hand. “We’ll all be together. Promise.” Rayla said reassuringly.
Jaren and Keegan nodded and smiled at the children.

Lance pulled the girl's into a hug before sending them through the portal

Sage and Rayla hugged him back and then went through the portal.
Keegan and Jaren followed after The girls and the younger children.

Before them was the vast, semi-barren land of Inferis, gold colored grass spread out before them, with silver and blue trees randomly dotting the landscape

Aleera and Eve hugged Lance tightly.
Serena frowned and said, “ it’s for their safety.”

"I know, but i do hope that we can bring them home one day" Lance said knowing there was no way off Inferis without him or Dan

“That’s why we make sure we all make it through this.” Serena said.
Eve and Aleera nodded.

"We need to find out where this guy went." Aleera snarled.
Eve frowned and said, "He's smart so he must have covered his trail."
