    Had Cassidy been a fraction nicer, she might have felt sad for the apprentice, but being rather heartless, and not at all caring about the WindClanner's feelings, the black and white collie decided not to care in the least. Her eyes looked coldly at the animal, and narrowed slightly, she glared at Luna as the female spoke to her and raised her lip in a snarl. No, no one talked to her like that. "Respect Luna." She barked, in regards to both Finch and herself.

    She was peeved, annoyed, ready to smash someone's skull in, mostly because Luna had just put her in a bad mood. "Just knock the little wench out already, it's getting quite boring picking on someone who Arctic could use for a toothpick." Cassidy barked, it wasn't out of sympathy she said this, but out of relative annoyance and plain boredom, everyone was so boring, she just wanted to screech in annoyance. Why couldn't anyone be interesting like Sango... at least she was angry.

    //sucks so bad. sorry.

Good. She had proved at least something. She twitched her pink nose, looking over at Cassidy. "Cassidy, Luna is going to take her to the dungeon. But I want you to go with them. Just to be sure everything goes smoothly." she said, nodding to the nightwatcher. She looked at Luna once more. She was skeptical of her. Very skeptical. Was she just putting up an act? She supposed time would tell.

    "And Luna, do give me updates on the status of your former apprentice. I want you to be the one to watch her suffer. Consider it a test. If you're loyal - then you should pass with ease." Finch said what she needed to, and ducked away.

    ❝ luna noctcaligo — warlord ❞

    Luna let out a low growl in Cassidy's direction, hot fury dancing on her pelt. She was not to be trusted? The canine went through a sudden personality change and no one said anything about it? She would rather kiss Drogo's feet than as much as dare bow her head in the collie's direction. Indignation swelled in her chest as she marched over to Stormkit and latched her jaws (not minding if they sunk into the little cat's fur) before turning her massive head to face the dog.

    "No. I will not respect your authority. For you have proven in the last moons that your personality is as fleeting as the wind, one moment constant and the next, vanished. I only respect power, which Finch has in spades and you do not, dog." The words were muffled, but nevertheless their as she turned to face the retreating figure of Finch before padding onto a well worn jungle path, heading deeper into towering trunks and not bothering to wait for Cassidy.

    Cassidy's eyes narrowed and she glared at Luna, she was furious, but she was better than this, her face was calm, with anger bubbling up inside of her, no she would not snap, she would not, oh hell she would not... "Finch, I respect you, and love you, but I would rather jump in a volcano." She wouldn't work with Luna.

Cassidy does have authority. And you are supposed to respect authority here. I don't know how they did it where you used to live, but here we respect authority." she hissed, narrowing her blue eyes. She stepped in front of Luna, shoving her away.

    "If you don't respect Cassidy, you don't respect me. I'll do this, since you're incapable." she hissed, her fur puffing out, and digging her claws into the apprentice, attempting to drag her off.

    ❝ luna noctcaligo — warlord ❞

    This was it, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

    All the rage came pouring out in that moment, a beat of a heart and she was a burning inferno ready to hurt. Luna let go of Stormkit, forcing herself to not watch as her apprentice's body hurtled towards to earth. She did not care what happened to the girl. She would not care. She was a warrior of the shade and she could not function to her full potential if someone such as Cassidy was in her way. Luna rolled back her shoulder, and let a snarl dance on her lips as she took a step forward so she towered over the short-legged Finch, fury dancing in her eyes as a wicked joy grabbed hold of her heart.

    "I challenge thee to an Honor Duel. If you beat me than I will bow my head to Cassidy, if you do not then I will only listen to her when the Queen herself issues it." The words were hot and livid, pouring out of her mouth ans she flexed her claws, waiting for the coward's reaction. The little deputy would probably run form her proposal seeing her lack of courage and heart.

    --Hey, if you want to do the honor duel than I can make the thread for it if ya want!

  • [center][fancypost= width: 400px][align=justify]
    "Are you fucking kidding me."

    Those were the only words to escape her mouth as she approached the bickering group, icy blue eyes narrowed in frustration. If she could just get one day where she could sleep without disturbance, one day where she could lounge around her den and not worry about her clan-mates ripping each other to shreds, she'd take it. However, that day didn't seem too close for the hellhound.

    "First off, Finch and Cassidy are high positions for a reason. They have proved themselves time and time again, and they need not do so again for your own piece of mind. Luna, you have been continously picking fights with your clan-mates and thus, I do understand Finch's hesitation to trust you. If you so wish to prove yourself to them and be respected just as they are to be, I suggest you begin by integrating yourself into our ranking system. While I find myself trusting you, you must prove yourself to them as well, and so far I wouldn't say you're doing too good of a job. As for a duel, unless Finch insists, there will be none. It is a waste of time and resources, which we could be using to strengthen our camp from incoming WindClan attacks and remarking our boundaries. I do not care what you choose to do with your apprentice, but she may not be allowed comfort within our walls. You may escort her back, but if she stays here we will lock her up as a prisoner of war. It is your choice."

    ❝ luna noctcaligo — warlord ❞

    Luna felt rage thrum in her chest, the ting of fury racing up her pelt so her fur stood on end. The leader's word sparked a fuse in her, sending a wave of fresh anger to simmer in her veins. Higher position, higher position, higher position. Those two words made her livid. Sango would trust the words of a dual-faced pompous dog rather than an reliable, loyal warlord who would die for the shade? Just because she held a fancy tittle and those cowards flocked around her for no reason except to bask in her wonderful higher position glory?

    Luna flexed her paws and snorted out of her nose, shifting her weight forward so she was looking Sanog directly in her eyes. Unblinking and filled with reckless courage in the face of the demon. "I do not trust Cassidy. You say she is worthy of her rank? She is dual-faced and who knows if or when she will suffer from one of her personality shifts again, resulting in her quite possible loathing the shadows? You believe that being a high rank in the clan should garner your trust? May I say Lady Sango, there are snakes in the lions den and I would know from personal experience. Where is my army Sango, do you think I left just left them to die?" The woman pushed out the words, her history coming out in the light of the sun for the Shadowkeeper to inspect. Luna shifted her golden gaze to the apprentice, a sneer dancing on her lips. "I do not care for her, but she can remain a prisoner of war. As a loyal warrior of the shade I put the needs of the clan before my own personal gain." Lies. However, Sango would not know seeing how Luna masked it with partial truths and hid the lies underneath her raw emotion of anger and disbelief.

    [font='Times New Roman,Times,serif']
    Well, it seemed as though her choice to adopt a more warlike persona had backfired, "Luna, I do not need to justify myself to you. I am still the animal I was born as, I have just grown, and yes I shifted bodies, but how many ShadowClanners have done that? You talk a big talk, but when it comes to results you come up short. You are so wrapped up in your insecurities that you attack others to make yourself look better. I was born in ShadowClan, my father was Twinskeletons, I am a proud Lystander, and I will remain loyal to my clan til the day I die. The same cannot be said for you Luna, you have jumped ship and joined another clan... and yet you expect all of ShadowClan to trust you, and bow and scrape to your self-claimed power..." Cassidy sneered and furrowed her eyebrows, if ever a dog could do so.

    Cassidy was pissed, mostly because Luna was insulting Sango's intelligence, and she really wanted to rip that little bitches throat off, but she had self control, something which Luna did not seem to have. "If you insult, disrespect, or threaten Finch, Sango, or any other high position, I will see to it that you don't take another breath." She stated calmly, it wasn't like Luna would be sorely missed, the WindClan bitch.

    "I don't have to explain my life choices to you, but when you bring them up as so called evidence of my 'inadequacy' do not be surprised when your past is drudged up, and every tragic thing, every sad moment, ever time you let your guard down is brought up, and shoved in your pugnacious smug little face." Cassidy took a moment to admire her choice of words before she continued on. "Escort her to the prison, and I will see to it that we set a guard that is not previously acquainted with the prisoner." Cas barked coldly. Luna hadn't known her before she had become Cassidy really. Just because as Paintedwings she had been quiet didn't mean that she wasn't.. strong. But changing her name had given her confidence to say what she thought, it was weird how that worked out sometimes.

    ❝ luna noctcaligo — warlord ❞

    Luna snorted, amusement shining bright with the rage on her face. How perfect, the little dog was playing right into her paws. Not only did the woman say she would attack Luna for just simply stating her opinion, she gave Luna power over her emotions, something which the warlord would use. A wild sneer danced across her lips as she took a step forward, her form projecting the image of try me. Both of them would know in the end who would win, Luna not only outsized her but simply had more experience than the brat.

    Rage flooded into her veins and the regal tiger channeled it, aiming it at systematically destroying Cassidy's social status. "You did more than shift bodies, you erased your character and built a new one and expected us to trust you comepletely. Who knows if you have any form of restraint on your actions? It seems that you can not keep your words under control as well. Simply stating that you will anniahlate me for giving my voice does not meet the marks of a wise leader. It is my basic right to voice my opinion without your maggoty breath whispering that you will destroy me. If you as so much as try to lift a claw to me for my words, I will assure you that you will not be allowed to say such things any longer. We are clan mates and from my apparently limited idea of clan life, high positions"-she said those words with a sneer on her face-"do not threaten to kill one another, abticlan or not. Are we clear?" Authority filled her form before she let out a puff of air, picking up momentum and running over any forms of protest the collie would make.

    "As for leaving WindClan, I can say that it was a mistake to join their in the first part, I hold no allegiance to that clan and I never will. You see, foolish woman, birth does not define you. Your actions do. My actions have helped ShadowClan, what have yours done little Nightstalker?"

    Luna exhaled sharply, narrowing her golden eyes with disgust at the border collie. "I do not trust you and you do not trust me. Just because I have wounded your pride in saying that I will not respect you does not warrant your actions." Luna let her words flow from her mouth, her voice persuasive and holding the same emotion changing tone when she led raids against WindClan. Hopefully Cassidy would grow even more infuriated at her words or perhaps abashed or solemn.
